Being a Leo means that your ruling planetary body is the Sun. The Sun is the centre of the universe and all the other planets revolve around it. Therefore, somewhere in your life, you too may take centre stage as other people move around you. This may be in your community, your family or out in the wider world.
The Sun’s job is to shine bright, to share warmth, vitality and energy. If you’re a typical Leo, you’re at your best when you feel these qualities in your life. Seek out the sun, move into areas where you receive acknowledgment, compliments and recognition of the person you truly are.
As November begins, the Sun is in Scorpio and your home and family sector. This may be a time when you’re involved in home or property matters or family need your time and attention. Scorpio is one of the emotional water signs and it’s important that you trust your intuition when it comes to home and family decisions.
There is a proviso, however, because this is eclipse season. There was a powerful Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on October 25th and this month, there’s a Full Moon or Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on the 8th.
The Taurus/Scorpio axis of the zodiac is about your future and your past. It’s important for you because these two star signs fall at the peak and base of your horoscope.
Taurus rules your career and vocation, your status and reputation, your future and where you’re heading. Scorpio represents your home and family, your past and where you come from.
The Lunar Eclipse highlights these key areas of your life. It’s shining a light on your current situation, exposing where change is required. Sometimes during eclipses, the unexpected kicks in acting as the trigger for change.
You may feel pulled in different directions during the Lunar Eclipse. You might find it hard to juggle home and work. Or, you feel unsure where your priorities lie or unclear about what to do next.
Notice where you’re being called forth and what home means to you. If you’re not happy with where you live or your career, this will be noticeable during the eclipse. This eclipse cycle shaping the foundations of your life continues until October 2023.
During the eclipse, the Moon is in an exact conjunction to Uranus, the planet of change and this combination is lively. Uranus is volatile and unpredictable and a shift in one area of your life could necessitate a sudden move in another. Uranus favours freedom and freelance work, being a rebel or doing things differently.
Also during the eclipse, the Sun & Moon are squared by Saturn in Aquarius and your opposite star sign. This is your relationship sector so consider who may be standing in your way. It might be the authorities, a parent or a partner.
This eclipse could flag up where limitation or restriction lie and you may not want to feel held back or restricted any longer. It might be your partner’s actions that shock you on or around the eclipse date.
The Saturn-Uranus square was the major planetary aspect of 2021 – rules & regulations (Saturn) v. freedom & rebellion (Uranus). These two planets came back into square aspect mid-2022 and during this powerful eclipse they start to break away from one another.
Therefore, something may have to break down in order for you to break through. The trickiest dates could be the 9th & 11th. Ensure you have your allies on your side and don’t deal with any major issue in your life on your own.
There’s more of a flow in your astrology once the eclipse has been and gone. On the 15th, 16th and 21st, there are some lovely planetary aspects between Venus (relating), Mercury (communication), your ruler the Sun & big planet Jupiter.
Jupiter returned to Pisces and your joint finance sector at the end of October and is completing its journey here throughout November & December. This may link back to events from May to July 2021 and the first half of this year 2022.
With Jupiter in Pisces, it’s a good time to refresh your finances and make the most of your money. You might be taking on a loan or mortgage. You could receive a gift or bonus. Or, perhaps you’re the one being generous with your cash.
As Jupiter is the planet linked to the law, you might require expert advice, especially when it comes to finances or legal matters. Look out for the right joint venture and seek financial advice if required. These Jupiter aspects highlight your home & family, property & wealth.
On the 22nd, the Sun enters your fellow fire sign Sagittarius and joins Mercury & Venus here. This is lovely for you and potentially an easier vibe than planets in Scorpio.
It’s as if you’re moving from the dark (Scorpio) into the light (Sagittarius). Fire signs – motivation, joy, adventure – are your domain. Sagittarius rules all the good things in life in your horoscope, like romance, children & pregnancy, creative projects, entertainment and luck. Life may be calling you out to line up some fun events, to prioritise play rather than work.
On the 23rd, there’s a New Moon in Sagittarius, a symbol of new beginnings. Plus, on the same day, expansive Jupiter turns direct. This is a double whammy of good fortune in your horoscope and it would be an ideal date to speculate, take a risk and trust your natural instincts.
