Virgo (23 August-22 September)
As March begins, five planets are in your opposite sign of Pisces including the Sun, your ruler Mercury, Venus (love), Mars (passion) and Neptune (imagination). This has huge love potential and some of you will be getting hitched, hearing a proposal or enjoy losing yourself in a sea of romance. However, it is a complex picture and so much focus on emotional Pisces may feel overwhelming at times and every now and again you need to come back down to planet Earth.
If you’re looking for love, don’t be surprised if you hear from someone who you used to know, an old flame or a blast from the past. When Mercury’s retrograde, as it is until the 17th, you tend to revisit the past in some way, to go over old ground and to reflect wistfully on what’s gone before. Some of you may be bringing a relationship to a close but finding it hard to do so and so much emphasis on Pisces and your opposite sign stirs up memories and the way you used to feel.
If you’ve recently met someone new, you may be unsure how to proceed and have conflicting views about what to do. This is all par for the course when your chart’s awash with Pisces energy but there are some markers that can guide you forwards. Firstly, there’s a New Moon in Pisces on the 11th and this suggests making a fresh start or taking the initiative either in love or with another key individual in your life. It’s about all your important one-to-ones.
Secondly, once Mercury turns direct on the 17th, you’ll either hear the news you’ve been waiting for, find that new information comes to light or feel ready to make a decision or move things on. The fog begins to clear and you can see your way forward more easily.
The key to Pisces energy is to have firm boundaries in your life and as the month progresses you’ll find you can start to say no when you know that’s what you should be doing. If you’re typical of your sign, you like to serve others and help when you can but at its worst this quality can turn you into a doormat or victim, especially when all the focus is on your opposite sign. So ensure that any relationship benefits you, that you value yourself highly and that you remind yourself why someone deserves to be with you. It’s about rebalancing your self-esteem and putting yourself first.
If you want to make any bold moves, these are possible towards the end of the month when the planets start to stack in the independent sign of Aries. This is about ensuring you get your own needs met, especially with regard to love and money. Uranus, the unpredictable planet, is also in the mix and if there’s a situation you need to break away from, the 28th and 29th of the month look promising.
When it comes to money matters, however, do avoid any get-rich-quick scheme especially if it comes recommended by someone else. It’s important to take charge of your own life financially as well as starting to claw back control of your emotions. The month of Pisces can be wonderful and blissful for you but if it’s been a wash-out, then actively seek out the sunshine and look after no. 1. A surprise money bonus or unexpected injection of cash can also help to turn your life around for the better.
