Taurus (20 April – 20 May)
June is a month when progress can be made and key areas of your life begin to move in the right direction.
Plus, with a strong emphasis on fire signs, especially Leo and Aries, you benefit when you adopt a positive attitude to life and stay motivated.
Being a Taurus and one of the earth signs, it can be easy for you to slow down the pace almost to a halt when you get stuck in a rut, the same groove over and over. If you already know you’re in need of a pick me up, this is the perfect month for you.
One of the reasons for this is the fact that your ruling planet Venus enters fiery Leo on the 5th. This is important for you as Venus will remain in this sector of your chart until early October, except for two weeks late July when she’s in the earth sign, Virgo.
Leo rules your home and family, your past and where you come from and it’s these areas which are under the cosmic spotlight over the next few months. Right now, it’s an exciting picture and there are moves to be made and key partnerships to benefit from.
One other important planet in this sector of your chart is Jupiter, the planet of opportunity. Jupiter remains here until the middle of August and this month is especially powerful for Jupiter. On the 22nd, Jupiter teams up in a stunning trine aspect with Uranus. This is the third and final connection that these two planets make in the heavens.
They first connected in September 2014, then again in March earlier this year and this is their third and most powerful aspect. This can play out in different ways. It might mean a house move, a change of accommodation, a family celebration or a chance to break free in some way from your past. Jupiter and Uranus are the freedom planets when you crave expansion and seek out space and liberation.
This is also linked with money in some way as key planets in Gemini and your money sector connect with the Jupiter-Uranus trine throughout the month. The first is Mars (action) on the 5th and 9th, the second planet is the Sun (identity) on the 8th and 10th and finally your ruler Venus (love/relating) on the 29th.
This feels lucky so for some it signals a win, a cash bonus, money or luck incoming for a family member and you’re treated royally. You might be able to make money from your home, via a savvy property move or a major decluttering session. Think car boot sales, renting out a room, the hidden treasure in the attic. Use your imagination in this respect and talk through any good ideas with your family.
You can push money matters forward this month as soon as the 2nd, when there’s a Full Moon cutting across the Gemini/Sagittarius axis of your chart. Full Moons are often a time when you see your situation with clarity and your intuition is strong. Plus, on the 11th Mercury, the planet of communication, turns direct in Gemini and your money sector.
It feels as you’re speeding up considerably now and you’re able to make progress with regard to money matters, whether you’re looking for a new job, you’ve been involved in a financial dealing or negotiation or some other situation personal to you. This is the turnaround you been waiting for after a period when the planets have been on go slow and halting your progress.
Plus, this month’s New Moon on the 16th also falls in Gemini. New cash beginnings all round. It’s a brilliant day to launch a project, to chase after money and to think abundantly. New ideas you generate now to fill your coffers are full of zip and inspiration. Good dates for money negotiations are the 10th, 11th, 14th and the 16th. Jump to it.
So what else is happening this month? Another big story concerns Saturn, the taskmaster of the heavens. From October 2012 until December 2014, Saturn was in your opposite side of Scorpio. This put the pressure on relationships, both personal and professional. Saturn is renowned as being the ‘commit or quit’ planet and where ever you find Saturn in your chart is where you can expect hard work and there are lessons to be learned.
On June 15th, Saturn moves back into Scorpio where it remains for the next three months until September 18th. This suggests that there’s unfinished business with regards to a partnership, a 1-to-1 key negotiation. This can suggest the flare up of an old problem, an issue that concerns your partner, your love life or a business partnership, someone or something you find hard to understand or difficult to work with.
It’s hard to ignore Saturn and it’s best to confront any situation head-on. This is about consolidation, tying up loose ends, finding closure. You might understand more about what this means for you personally during the last weekend of June, the 27th & 28th, when the Moon and Saturn come together in the heavens. Take your time, be serious but also remain upbeat. This is effectively a short transit for Saturn so view this as a three month project.
Yet on the whole June is jumping. In many respects, this feels like a turnaround month when, with a bit of a push and some enthusiasm, you can set the wheels in motion to ensure your train is out of the station and moving at top speed.
