Your ruling planet Venus is in the thick of the action early in the month even though Venus is currently retrograde, i.e. on go slow.
When a planet’s retrograde it turns your attention inward so now’s the time to trust your intuition and listen to your inner voice.
Venus remains on go slow in the sign of Leo throughout the month and in fact, Venus remains in this part of your chart for the best part of four months from early June to early October 2015. Leo is the sign down at the base of your chart and this rules your home and family, your past and where you come from.
So why are these areas of your life such a big issue right now? For each Taurus, there will be an individual story but you have a real chance to get things right, i.e. do what you want in these key areas. This is the month when the energy’s high as action planet Mars joins Venus in Leo on the 8th.
This will increase the feeling of urgency and you will want to get everything sorted immediately whether you have plans to move, you’re redesigning your home or garden, you have family to stay, perhaps indefinitely, you’re on a family holiday or you’re organising a big family occasion.
You will also come up against some challenges now and you do have to take care that you don’t let other people take over or tell you what to do. Same goes if you find you consistently put other peoples’ needs before your own. This is because Saturn remains in your opposite sign of Scorpio so whether you’re out of love or you’re limiting yourself for love, Saturn’s presence can’t be ignored.
The most testing period is the first week of the month when there’s gorgeous activity in Leo, think family celebrations, finding your dream home, but Saturn is not in agreement. If you and your partner can’t agree, the stars suggest it’s time to put your own needs and those of your family first.
It’s definitely not the time to let fear stop you doing what you want to do, whether that involves a trip down memory lane, bigger and better living accommodation or making peace with your past.
Saturn’s most helpful when he curbs your extravagance and doesn’t let you get completely carried away in your search for the perfect family life, the perfect home. Be a cautious optimist or a realist with a vision.
Affairs of the heart are extra important now too with Venus on go slow. This is the equivalent of a love review and it’s always worth taking your time when it comes to love when Venus is in retreat.
Mars is your partner planet and after the 8th Venus and Mars are in the same sign but heading in different directions. If this fits your current relationship situation then be patient. Next month’s stars are amazing for love but this month, get back on track and agree to disagree if necessary.
The big news this month however is the planet Jupiter on the move. Jupiter is the planet of joy, luck and good fortune and it’s where you find your happiness. It remains in each sign of the zodiac for one whole year and since July 2014 Jupiter has been in Leo, ruling your home and family.
Jupiter leaves behind Leo and enters your fellow earth sign of Virgo on the 11th where it remains for the next 13 months. This is brilliant news for you and a breath of fresh air. The focus turns back to you and what you want out of life rather than relying on others or having to think of others a lot of the time.
Virgo rules your 5th house in your chart which is your creativity, love affairs, entertainment, fun and children. It’s the playful sector of your chart and it’s about doing what you love.
This is your cue to embrace your passion and your desire. Plan some fun events with friends and family, make entertainment, laughter and socialising high priority and focus on the positives in your life. Jupiter is the planet of luck in your lucky house so have a flutter, enter competitions or buy a raffle ticket when you’re out and about and use your luck.
There is a popular saying in the UK, ‘you have to be in to win’ and this can apply to life as well as the lottery, e.g. if you want to meet someone new, join a dating agency or let your friends know you’re keen for an introduction. This will serve you better than sitting at home alone waiting for the phone to ring.
Same goes if you’ve always wanted to write a book, paint a portrait or play a musical instrument. Whilst Jupiter’s in Virgo, revisit your childhood dreams and take the first step in turning one of those dreams into reality. Jupiter’s move into Virgo isn’t going to sort out all the nitty-gritty boring stuff of life but it is going to move play and pleasure higher up your life barometer and that’s got to be a good thing.
This isn’t a key month for your working life either whether you’re busy or not but Jupiter in Virgo reminds you that whatever you do in life can be fun and enjoyable. Make play your goal and notice what happens on the 26th and 29th when the Sun and Jupiter align in Virgo followed by a Full Moon cutting across the Virgo/Pisces axis of your chart. This feels extremely pleasurable so be guided by your emotions.
