Community & Connections
Your ruling planet, Mars, is moving through earth sign Virgo all month. Virgo rules your friends and group activities, your social, political and humanitarian alliances. It’s about your community and how you fit in to the world.
Earth signs dominate this month and for you, this is about people and connections. If you’re a typical Scorpio, you tend to favour your own company but September’s calling you out, back into the world.
If you want to improve your social life, the first two weeks of September are the time to launch yourself in to new activities. There’s a flurry of planetary activity in Virgo, urging you to reach out, connect and recharge your friendships. It’s a top month to get involved in your local community or find a way to help others and make a difference.
Your co-ruler, Pluto, is also in an earth sign, Capricorn, and this is about communication and finding your voice. You may be writing more than usual as Virgo is the sign linked to writing, ruled by Mercury, planet of communication. You may not want to be overly social. Instead, you’re seeking to find a way to connect online or share your thoughts in a different context.
It could be an exceptionally busy month too, juggling different connections, networks, ideas and projects. Again, it’s the first two weeks of the month that are liveliest.
Pluto, your co-ruler, teams up with the inner planets, Venus and Mercury on the 7th and 9th and the Sun on the 13th. These dates could prove magical for you, because Pluto at its best represents personal transformation.
If you’re a typical Scorpio, you like in to go in deep, analysing your own motives and other people on a deep level. Some of the connections you make this month could be extremely powerful, for you or them. This might be a relationship with a coach, therapist or influencer. Or perhaps, you’re the one stepping up your game.
The key date for you is the 19th, when your co-rulers, Mars and Pluto, come together in the earth element. The connections you make this month could be lasting. Earth signs are in it for the long run and don’t give up easily.
Stretching Your Comfort Zone
At times, you may need to dig deep to find your inner strength, your discipline and your commitment to your future path. Events on or around the 18th may prove significant in this respect. This is the date when Saturn, the taskmaster of the heavens, turns direct after five months retrograde.
Saturn switched direction on April 30th. Ever since, it’s been in retreat alongside the karmic South Node. Saturn turns direct on the 18th of this month and by the 28th starts to pull away from the South Node. This may be something that’s been holding you back, perhaps fear or doubt.
Or perhaps, you recognise that you’ve been in your comfort zone, not wanting to stretch outside of it. You may be ready to break through a block or obstacle or leave an attitude or person behind. Keep this symbolism in mind towards the second half of September.
It’s about your voice, the way you communicate, the way you connect. It might be about a book you’re writing, a job you’re pursuing or a campaign you’re backing. A new level of commitment may be required.
Attracting Luck & Abundance
There is plenty of joy to be found this month, thanks to the Jupiter-Neptune square which is exact on the 21st. Jupiter in Sagittarius boosts your personal money sector, your values and self-worth. Neptune in Pisces lights up your romance sector, your creativity, play, your children and the things in life that you produce or ‘give birth to’.
This combination is boundless. It was strong in January and again in June and this is the third and final encounter of these two planets. At their best, they imbue you with hope and faith, with a love of life, a feeling that anything’s possible. This would be a good month to practise the Law of Attraction, to believe in abundance, generosity and freedom of spirit.
There may be times, especially early in September, when you lose your way or flip from feeling hopeful to feeling hopeless. You may compare yourself unfavourably when you hear other people’s stories or feel left out of a circle of friends.
This planetary activity peaks at the time of the Full Moon on the 14th. This promises romance for you or a chance to release and let go of emotions that don’t serve you. The ability to distinguish between reality and illusion will help you during this period.
Take care that you’re not seduced or fooled with Neptune strong. Instead, dive in to realms that inspire you, find an escape route from the everyday that heals and uplifts you. This may be a spiritual path or seeking out beauty in the world.
Rest & Repose
On the 14th, Venus and Mercury move hand in hand in to Libra and the most hidden sector of your horoscope. This brings with it a chance to restore balance and harmony in your life, to leave behind the busy start to September and to stop comparing yourself to others – if you have been.
The Sun moves into Libra on the 23rd, the day of the Equinox, heralding a change in season. Five days later, there’s a New Moon in Libra on the 28th. Seek out a more peaceful way of life during Libra season, whether for you this means rest and retreat or prioritising close and intimate relationships. If you’re a typical Scorpio, you enjoy 1-to-1’s more than big social gatherings.
Look after yourself well in mind, body and spirit. Seek balance and harmony within you. The 24th and 28th promise abundance. This may be financial or emotional or a gift that uplifts you, whether spiritual or personal.
