Pisces April 2019

Pisces (19 February – 20 March)

As April begins, two of the inner planets are moving through your star sign, Pisces. The first is communication planet, Mercury, which has been in Pisces since February 10th. This means Mercury spent most of March retrograde, i.e. in retreat.

If you experienced miscommunications recently or you’ve felt confused and lost, now’s the time to start asking the right questions so you can find your way forwards. Mercury’s been very close to your co-ruler Neptune and they meet for the third time on the 2nd.

Be More Pisces

For some, this may tap you in to your creative or spiritual source. You might be having profound thoughts or find that your imagination is unusually fertile. Continue to go with the flow, listen out for signs and trust in life in the first half of April.

Mercury remains in your star sign until the 17th. Now’s an ideal time to tap in to the best side of your Pisces star sign, the world of fantasy and dreams, your compassionate and giving nature.

Love planet, Venus, is also in Pisces until the 20th. Venus in Pisces is boundless and represents unconditional love. You may channel this love into a close relationship or have a keen desire to care for and help others. See where love leads you. Be open-hearted, generous and inclusive.

Pisces energy peaks in the middle of the monty between the 10th to the 15th. These dates could be outstanding for you, whether you see yourself in a new light or have a major insight into your personal life. The Venus-Neptune conjunction on the 10th is particularly dreamy and romantic.

Flying High – A New Vision

This is when your traditional ruling planet, Jupiter, is in action. Jupiter is currently in Sagittarius, the star sign at the peak of your horoscope. This Jupiter is full of optimism and ready for a new adventure.

Sagittarius rules your career and vocation, your future and where you’re heading. This is an ideal time to have a big vision and set up some new goals for what you want out of life. Jupiter turns retrograde on the 10th and remains on go slow until mid-August.

This means you might be working on a new project ready to launch it in September. Think of this as a gestational period and turn your attention inwards, for some of the time. In fact, it’s important that you balance the inner and outer during this phase.

For example, don’t lose sight of yourself if you’re starting a new job, role or position in life. Play big but be truthful and, most importantly, stay true to yourself. Events mid-month may reveal what this means for you personally as you set off on a new path.

Money Moves

There’s also major planetary activity this month in the fire sign Aries ruling your personal money and what you value highly in life. Hopefully, this turn of direction and fresh energy brings something new your way which boosts your finances.

There’s a New Moon in Aries on the 5th, a great date to set your intentions and sow seeds. Think of ways to make money or use your money to good effect. Plus, the Full Moon on the 19th highlights the Aries-Libra axis of the zodiac.

This confirms that partnership is the key to your success financially. Or, at the very least, you’re having to think about someone else in relation to yourself where money’s concerned. Libra is a star sign that wants everything to be just and fair. Bear this in mind if you’re caught up in any key financial negotiations in the month ahead.

Plus, Venus enters Aries on the 20th. Venus represents the sweet things in life, gifts, treats, all that’s beautiful. This can go two ways. You might receive something special or want to treat yourself and the ones you love. What you give, you receive in return is Venus’ message.

This is confirmed because of the Full Moon in Libra, the sign that rules joint finances and shared resources. Think of this as the natural flow of money and abundance. When the Sun and Moon oppose each other across the heavens on the 19th, this can manifest something special.

Home Dynamics

Also, it’s important to consider your home and family life and how that impacts on what you want to do in the world. Action planet Mars is currently down at the base of your horoscope in the star sign, Gemini.

Be ambitious about home and family plans. At the same time, ensure you have a healthy work/life balance. You don’t want to miss out on the greater potential of the Jupiter-Neptune influence which is strong in your horoscope up until September 2019 encouraging you to fly high and spread your wings.

Mars in your home and family sector can be argumentative. Perhaps, you have to confront what’s difficult in order to bring things out into the open. Ask for what you want and need and challenge anyone close who’s being difficult or holding you back.

At times, this month’s planetary activity could leave you feeling breathless or out of control. There’s a lot of fast-paced astrology in air and fire signs, the extrovert signs of the zodiac. Yet, there’s another wave taking place that’s steadying and grounding. This pulls in your connections, old and new friends alike.

Connections – The Good & The Bad

On the 20th, the Sun enters the earth sign Taurus and your communication sector. This is about your acquaintances, your local community. It represents siblings and neighbours. This is where there’s stability in your life and comfort, also innovation and excitement.

This may be evident on or around the 22nd when the Sun unites with Uranus in Taurus. This combination promises a group event that’s awakening or revelatory. Notice what you read or hear on or around the 22nd, perhaps online. This could set you on a new path or create new ideas that can run and run.

Saturn and Pluto are a more sober influence in Capricorn and your friendship and group sector. Both planets turn retrograde – Pluto on the 24th and Saturn on the 30th. Plus, there’s a rare connection between Pluto and the south node on the 4th and Saturn and the south node on the 30th, a karmic point in astrology.

This combination can be halting or limiting, in some respect. You may find yourself wanting to pull away from a group situation that stifles you or feels claustrophobic. Be careful about being pulled back into your comfort zone or automatic patterns that no longer serve you.
