Libra (23 September – 23 October)
You have it all going on as April begins and this is due to a powerful Lunar Eclipse which takes place early on in the month.
This eclipse cuts across the Aries/Libra axis of your chart so it’s about your relationships, both personal and professional, and how they’re being transformed and perhaps what you thought you wanted is shifting and changing.
The Lunar Eclipse which takes place on the 4th is part of a cycle that falls across the Aries/Libra axis of the zodiac. The first of these eclipses took place in October 2013 and the last one takes place in a year’s time in March 2016.
Eclipses shift the balance and your personal situation can change dramatically throughout the eclipse cycle. New people come into your life and other people move away.
Eclipse symbolism is shadowy and sometimes hidden themes come to light. If you want a heads-up on this particular eclipse, think back six months to October 8th 2014. There was a similar eclipse on that date which fell at 15 Aries/Libra and the eclipse this month on the 4th falls at 14 Libra/Aries.
What’s especially important about this is that the Uranus-Pluto square is caught up in the mix. Last month on March 17th, the seventh and final Uranus-Pluto square took place and for you this is personal. Pluto’s in Capricorn down at the base of your chart ruling your home and family and Uranus is in Aries and your opposite sign representing your 1-to-1 interactions and relationships.
So Easter weekend might bring things to a head if there have been challenges with one person in particular in your life. Plus Mercury, the communication planet, is in Aries and this is a fiery combination. Mercury’s the straight talker in Aries, impulsive and direct. Being a Libran, you’re not someone who likes confrontation but you might find that you can’t avoid a fall out or a dispute or debate. Certainly it looks as if emotions will get heated.
There’s one other planetary factor that acts in a supportive manner and can help guide you. This is Jupiter, the planet of opportunity, which is currently in Leo and your friendship sector. Jupiter is the protective planet so if you need cheering up or if you need someone to bounce ideas off, turn to your friends. If you can’t see the reality of your own situation and you want another opinion regarding a key partnership in your life, turn to your friends.
You might not have any particular issue that’s foreground now but instead you’re aware that you’re ready to break free and put your own needs first. It might be a symbolic act that helps you put the past behind you or you might be mourning what’s lost and gone ready to move on.
Jupiter is the planet of trust and faith and in Leo this is a clear sign that you can look to the future and make new plans that help you move forward. The Sun and Jupiter connect on the 2nd; Mercury and Jupiter link up on the 6th and on the 8th Jupiter turns direct in Leo. This acts as a boost to your social life and the more you embrace friends, old and new and look to groups in your life that feed and inspire you and plug back in to the wider world around you, the more deeply fulfilled you feel.
If you’re debating whether to join a new group on- or off-line or to back a social or political cause, the answer is Yes. Once Jupiter turns direct in Leo on the 8th, it’s full steam ahead until August 2015 when Jupiter moves on and leaves this sector of your chart. This is prime time to flex your political or social muscle and make a difference in the world.
Money matters are under the cosmic spotlight this month and as April begins, the relationship planets, Venus and Mars, are in Taurus and one of the money sectors of your chart. Venus, your ruler, remains here until the 11th and this is your best time to work things out financially with someone you share money or resources with.
Your planet Venus is strong in Taurus, so use your common sense and your business head when it comes to money to ensure you get a good deal whether you’re negotiating a mortgage, sorting out joint finances with an ex or current partner or you’re involved in any other kind of financial dealing.
Mars is your partner planet and in Taurus this indicates that someone close to you might be rather stubborn or unrelenting where cash is concerned. Your skill is to prove that you’re just as capable of standing your ground whilst behaving courteously. Venus in Taurus is graceful and polite; Mars in Taurus can be bolshy and suggests someone who throws their weight around.
If you’re looking for love, once your ruler Venus enters Gemini on the 11th, turn your attentions abroad. It’s a wonderful time to take or book a holiday or plan a trip away. The best dates for finding love are the 22nd and the weekend of the 25th/26th.
You might have to get creative if you’re to get out of work or other commitments but with Venus in Gemini you’re ready for some flirtatious fun and then some. Put the past firmly behind you in April and embrace a bright new future.
