Leo (23 July – 22 August)
It’s a month of two halves and if you can, in the first half of July, find some time to yourself, be quiet and retreat from the busy-ness of life.
As July begins, the personal planets including your ruler the Sun are hidden away in your chart in the previous sign of Cancer. This turns your focus inward. You might feel less confident or introverted, wanting to hide away from what’s going on in the world around you.
This can be a productive time if you use it well to look at your private world, take time out to listen to your inner voice and get back in touch with your natural instincts. It’s not necessarily a time when communication helps, at least speaking out loud.
This could confuse you if you hear too many differing opinions or what you read throws up more questions than answers. Instead think stillness and pursue a spiritual path if this feels right for you.

Home and family affairs and your connection to the past are currently strong. Action planet Mars is now direct in the sign of Scorpio down at the base of your chart and, in some shape or form, you’re returning to events which took place earlier in the year.
Mars is retracing its steps through the zodiac, in the same place it was in the second half of February. Events back then might give you a clue as to what’s important for you now.
Action planet Mars likes to act fast but it’s a passionate, sometimes angry energy. Even so, turn your attention towards family matters, your home or property ventures.
