My dear friend and colleague, Joanna Watters, is an expert teacher of astrology and this September she is once again offering astrology courses.
I have taken details of the courses from her website and posted them below. (The photo here is the view from her villa in Greece where the summer school takes place – how gorgeous is that view!)

9 September 2016 – The Astrology of Relationships (intermediate, 4 of 10 places available)
This course is suitable for the student who has already completed a beginners’ course or who is familiar with the basic symbolism of the nuts and bolts of horoscopy – signs, planets and houses. If you know astrology, you will notice that Jupiter, the best planet in astrology, enters Libra, the sign of relationships on September 9th 2016. Perfect timing!
Discover how your horoscope holds the keys to understanding the nature of your relationships. What type of partner will you meet and when? Why do you connect with one person but not another? Learn how comparing your horoscope to another’s describes your points of both conflict and compatibility. You will need some familiarity with signs/planets/houses so suitable for students who have completed any kind of beginners astrology course.
16 September 2016 – Discovering Astrology (beginner/refresher, 6 of 10 places available)
Lift astrology out of the Sun sign columns and discover the fascinating world of horoscopy – how to work with individual charts and interpret the natal configurations in terms of character, vocation and life/love experiences and potential. Take your first steps too in predictive work, understanding the horoscope as a mechanism in perpetual motion, throwing light on the past, present and future.
‘All you really need to become proficient in your chosen craft is a love of the subject and a passion for learning. Even if you arrive on a course feeling as if you know nothing at all you will, by the end of the week, be doing transits and interpretations. Wow!’

This is inclusive of all course materials, transport to and from the villa on the four study days, and tea/coffee/bottled water and soft drinks during class hours. A caterer is employed for the week who lays on a delicious freshly prepared buffet lunch, using local produce, and this is charged at 5 Euros a head. There are no hidden extras.
Groups are kept small – a maximum of ten – so that everyone has the chance to benefit from individual time and attention as well as group discussions. All groups are designed to learn new information but also for active participation, sharing our views and opinions, and learning from each other and from issues and questions that arise naturally throughout the week.
