Yours is one of the mutable signs which means you have the ability to be flexible and to change tack when necessary. This skill will come in especially useful throughout June as your plans change quickly and nothing is set in stone.
The main reason for this is the fact that your ruling planet Mercury turns retrograde on the 7th and remains on go slow until July 1st. It’s a good idea to back up your computer and sort out any official or important paperwork the first week of the month. Plus if you have any important meetings or interviews to organise at work, jump to it.
The Sun is lighting up your work and career sector until the day of the Summer Solstice, the 21st, but with Mercury on go slow, there will be more mishaps or hold-ups than usual. Don’t take anything for granted with Mercury retrograde and realise that what’s ‘final’ may not be final until Mercury picks up speed.
Mercury turns retrograde in the sign of Cancer, ruling your friends, groups and networks. On or around the 7th there’s an issue with one of these areas whether someone goes awol or you start to question why you’re involved and what you get from it. Rather than make any hasty decisions, it’s best to wait until nearer the end of the month and see what happens.
The Sun enters Cancer on the 21st followed by a New Moon in the sign of friendship and groups on the 27th. Someone new comes in to hold the fort or make a positive difference on or around these dates and once Mercury goes back into Cancer mid-June you will see your own situation more clearly.
Mercury moves back into Gemini and your career sector on the 17th so think second chances and revisit some of your old work ideas or reconnect with old contacts. It’s often hard to begin something new when Mercury’s on go slow and you have to be extra diligent and vigilant to ensure that things go to plan. Have plan B and C up your sleeve especially when you’re dealing with a high-profile situation.
The most important way to use Mercury retrograde is to reassess your own situation, to look at what works, what doesn’t and what you need to do differently. Then when Mercury turns direct, you have all the information to hand that you require and you can start to make significant progress.
If you do have an important meeting or interview to arrange in June, your best bet is to go for the 19th when the Sun and Mercury come together in a helpful planetary aspect, even if Mercury is on go slow. It may just be a case of having to do things twice.
There’s a final challenge for money matters this month and this is a repeat of a situation that was intense over Christmas and New Year 2013 and again over Easter 2014 and especially the following week, the 22nd/23rd April. This is because Mars the action planet is in Libra and your money sector but it clashes with the Uranus/Pluto square and in June this is for the third and final time.
If you’ve got a fight on your hands with regard to your money, it’s worth giving it a final push or if there’s a situation that’s become impossible, then you realise it’s time to stand back and retreat from any more volatility or upsets. The key dates are the 14th and the 25th but at least this will be the end of a difficult situation and come next month you’ll be free or ready to move on. Hold tight to your cash and don’t make any big decisions whilst Mercury’s retrograde.
The best news this month is Venus, the planet of love, in your fellow earth sign of Taurus where she remains until the 23rd. One way to bypass June’s awkward stars would be to head off on holiday as Taurus rules travel, study and new experiences in your own chart. You can almost guarantee a holiday romance as Venus, Goddess of love, lights up Taurus or a romantic holiday with your other half would also tick the boxes.
Even if you’re not away this month, make time for your girlfriends as Venus rules women and line up some enjoyable and entertaining activities. A spa day or a meal out at your favourite restaurant. The 4th looks special as does the 18th.
Finally there are two key planets in your opposite sign of Pisces and both turn retrograde in June. The first is Neptune on the 9th and the second is Chiron on the 20th. These are sensitive, healing planets and romance and compassion are key elements to consider.
Create more time and space for love in your life or do whatever’s necessary to heal the past. Both these planets conjure up the theme of forgiveness and letting go and allow you to connect more deeply with your own heart. When it comes to love, put feelings first and thoughts second.
