The Men’s Tennis Wimbledon 2015

Wimbledon 2015, 11:30am, Monday 29th June 2015
Wimbledon 2015, 11:30am, Monday 29th June 2015

Update Sunday 12th July 2015: Novak Djokovic is the Wimbledon champion as my head predicted (my heart wanted Andy Murray to win) – see below. The chart of the tournament pointed to a Gemini winner and that the favourite would do well. In the end, it was both no. 1 seeds, Novak and Serena who romped away with the titles. Roger Federer proved that Jupiter in Leo continues to make this an epic year for many Leos and boy, has he been playing well. He was runner up for second year in a row. Bring on the US Open!…

I sneaked the chart for the start of Wimbledon on to the website two days ago and thank you to all who have left comments so far.

I’m already excited about what the fortnight ahead holds and if the chart of the tournament is anything to go by, there’s going to be some exciting tennis.

Here are the predictions:

Wimbledon Chart (see left):

The chart for the the start of the tournament is dominated by a strong Mercury, the planet that’s linked to tennis. Mercury types are dexterous, quick and Mercury rules the hands.

A Virgo Ascendant makes Mercury the ruling planet. Mercury is strong in Gemini, its sign of dignity and stands proud at the top of the chart close to the Midheaven, the success point of the chart. Straightaway this looks like we’re in for some exciting tennis especially as Mercury is connected to the breakthrough duo of Jupiter and Uranus through sextile, i.e. harmonious aspects. Jupiter expands what it touches and Uranus favours all that’s new. Expect whoops of delight, brilliant tennis and one or two surprises.

Astrology doesn’t have to be complex and sometimes symbolism leaps out at you. Take for example the chart for the French Open 2015 which had Uranus in Aries conjunct an Aries Midheaven. The winner, Stan Wawrinka, is a Sun Aries and he was having a Uranus transit during the tournament – simple astrology.

So does this mean that according to this year’s Wimbledon chart Sun Geminis are going to do well or those players with Mercury strong in their chart will dominate? There are some likely contenders immediately as you’ll see below.

The Moon is in Sagittarius as the tournament begins and its next aspects are challenging ones, a square to Neptune followed by an opposition to Mercury. The ruler of the Ascendant on the Midheaven is a good case for the favourite to win the tournament but the Moon’s aspects question that statement. Will the astrology prove elusive? Possibly. Let’s see what the player’s charts show for the next two weeks:

Novak Djokovic, b. May 22 1987, 11:25 pm, Belgrade, Yugoslavia

He is the no. 1 seed and the reigning champion. He is a Sun Gemini plus his natal Mercury is at 18 Gemini and close to the Midheaven of the chart at the start of the tournament. That’s a strong testimony straightaway to the favourite winning the tournament.

He’s going to be super keen to win another title having been defeated by Wawrinka at the French Open three weeks ago. Other astrologers have spoken about Saturn opposing Novak’s Gemini Sun and slowing him down but the reality is that Saturn was opposite his Sun in January 2015 and only returns to oppose his Sun in October 2015. Saturn is currently reversing through Scorpio so out of the way.

I did notice that Djokovic’s coach, Boris Becker, has his Sun at 29 Scorpio and that’s where Saturn is right now. What form of endings/reality check does it hint at for him? Becker’s Sun is conjunct Neptune in the 12th house so something behind the scenes perhaps, rather than connected to Novak.

Roger Federer, b. August 8 1981, 8:40 am, Basel, Switzerland

The no. 2 seed has played a brilliant year’s tennis whilst Jupiter has been in his sign of Leo. Jupiter remains in Leo until August 11th 2015 but is now separating from his key planets, the Sun and Mercury, his career planet.

Federer has a Gemini Midheaven, the success point of his chart, which shows not only his tennis greatness but the fact that he’s father to two sets of twins. Gemini’s zodiac symbol is the twins, duality/multiplicity is a Gemini theme and his children are a key part of his vocation. Yet Federer’s Midheaven is 6 Gemini which gives too wide an orb for it to be significant to the Mercury/Midheaven combination in the Wimbledon chart.

I’m a huge Federer fan but the astrology isn’t leaping out for me. His natal Venus is at 17 Virgo close to the Wimbledon chart’s Ascendant so no doubt he’ll be one of the most-loved players yet again and will continue to delight us with his tennis and his charm.

Plus Jupiter at 21 Leo is picking out two of the outer planets in his natal chart, Pluto at 21 Libra and Neptune at 22 Sagittarius. Not amazing astrology, but hopeful. Personally I hope he does well and he often plays his best tennis at Wimbledon.

Andy Murray, b. May 15 1987, 2:10 pm, Glasgow, UK

When I first saw the Wimbledon chart for 2015, my initial response was ‘that’s Andy Murray’s chart’ as Andy Murray has Mercury in Gemini conjunct the Midheaven.

Andy Murray is born only one week before Novak Djokovic in the same year but Murray is a Sun Taurus and Djokovic is a Sun Gemini. Yet Andy Murray’s Ascendant is 14 Virgo which makes his ruling planet Mercury at 3 Gemini conjunct his 7 Gemini Midheaven.

In other words, he has the tennis planet conjunct the career point of his own natal chart, a strong testimony to becoming a brilliant tennis player. His personal (Ascendant) and professional (Midheaven) lives all rolled up in one, both Mercury ruled.

Murray’s chart is strong in fire signs, the same as Djokovic but there are closer aspects to Murray’s chart right now. In fact, Jupiter, the success planet, at 21 Leo 17 is almost exactly trine to Murray’s natal Moon in Sagittarius at 21 Sagittarius 43. Another powerful indicator that the no. 3 seed is going to delight the home crowd although he might have to defeat Nadal, Federer and Djokovic if he’s going to win the title.

Rafael Nadal, b. June 3 1986, 7:10 pm, Manacor, Spain

If the French Open achieved anything, it made astrologers question Nadal’s birth time and elicited huge debate in the comments section on this website. Astrodienst has his time of birth as 6:20pm allegedly from his birth certificate which would make his Midheaven 17 Leo 35. On the day of the final of the French Open, Jupiter was at 17 Leo 35 which was stunning astrology for him to win one more time at his favourite tournament.

Yet it didn’t happen, his tennis playing has been erratic and he’s currently the no. 10 seed. Nadal himself told journalists in the past that he was born at 7pm, a new time emerged of 7:15pm, and after much debate, I am going with the birth time of 7:10pm which makes his Midheaven 0 Virgo 29, therefore his career planet is Mercury at 26 Gemini. This again backs up the power of Mercury in Gemini for tennis players.

Nadal’s Sun is at 12 Gemini close to the Wimbledon chart’s Midheaven but being one year older than Murray and Djokovic, his Saturn Return is looming, exact November 2015. Nadal has had a tough time in the past with his 1st house Saturn which at 5 Sagittarius opposes his Sun in Gemini. The 1st house rules the physical body and Nadal has had more than his fair share of injuries interrupting his tennis career.

Jupiter is moving closer towards making a harmonious sextile aspect with Nadal’s Mercury, exact July 25th 2015, but it seems a little wide to really boost his chances this coming fortnight. I hope Nadal will play well even though the grass courts of Wimbledon aren’t always his favourite surface.

The Best of the Rest

Stan Wawrinka, b. March 28 1985, 11:05 am, Lausanne, Switzerland

You can’t discount Stan the Man, the no. 5 seed, after winning Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in 2014 and the French Open in 2015. He’s becoming a contender and vying for dominance alongside the Big Four of Djokovic, Federer, Murray & Nadal.

The astrology again links in to his chart as the Sun at 7 Cancer is conjunct his natal Ascendant at 9 Cancer as the tournament begins, plus his ruling planet, the Moon at 23 Gemini is boosted by a harmonious sextile aspect from Jupiter at 21 Leo, exact on July 9th 2015. You would expect him to do well with Jupiter’s showing.

Thomas Berdych, b. September 17 1985, time unknown, Czechoslovakia

Berdych is the no. 6 seed. A Sun Virgo with three planets in one of the signs ruled by Mercury, you have to fancy his chances once Jupiter enters Virgo in August 2015 where it remains until September 2015.

This time around Jupiter, the success planet, is moving ever closer to his natal Venus at 24 Leo 20, exact on July 15th 2015. n.b. Jupiter takes 1 year to move through each sign of the zodiac and 12 years to return to each planet in your natal chart.

Marin Cilic, b. September 28 1988, time unknown, Croatia

Born 3 years after Thomas Berdych, the no. 9 seed also has Venus in Leo at 23 Leo 02. The exact conjunction from Jupiter takes place on July 9th 2015 so during the tournament. It’s hard to know whether this will boost his career or another area of his life as without a time of birth you can’t tell which area of his chart it influences.

Thanasi Kokkinakis, b. April 10 1996, time unknown, Adelaide, Australia

I’ve been looking at the charts for some of the newer names to see if any astrology leapt out. I love Kokkinakis’ chart as his Sun is at 20 Aries 30 and Uranus is almost exactly conjunct his Sun as the tournament begins at 20 Aries 12. Uranus springs surprises so keep an eye out what happens with Kokkinakis.

Astrologer’s Prediction

In true Gemini style, I’m choosing two winners this time around. As the Wimbledon chart seems to pick out the favourite, my head is going with Novak Djokovic whose own Mercury links in to the Wimbledon chart. Yet my first instinct was for Andy Murray and with such lovely symbolic astrology, my heart goes with Andy to win.

Looking forward to all your comments but play nicely folks. We all have our favourites.

n.b. If any of you find out a player’s time of birth, please do pass the information on to me. It would be much appreciated.

  1. Dear Sally,

What a teaser! I don’t understand what it means. I am looking forward to your comment on it.

Guessing that Murray probably has good stars also in July. He is my favorite as he plays an outrageous season and has less pressure to win Wimbledon after succeeding 2013.

Djokovic still blocked by Saturn? Another sports astrologist said there will be no favourite win at the upcoming Grand Slams 2015, so again a surprise winner? What about Raonic? Maybe again Wawrinka, he should appear with wide chest?

Berdych also playing well this year is to weak mentally in my eyes also if he’s supported by stars I don’t see him winning this. Nadal should play no serious role on grass regarding his overall performance this season.

If Sally points out astrological support for Roger I would give him good chances to reach the final again as he is still supported by Jupiter in leo, his star sign.

      1. I’m over the moon that Fabulous brilliant Roger beat Andy in the semi final. I made an experiment re.the match. I made a chart for the exact time it began and a chart for Mirka Federer. She had very good transits and the time (which is NEVER the exact time fixed by the tv stations) had Roger’s venus strong by degree to the m.c. I’m only a student of astrology but this worked. I’ll do the same on Sunday so we’ll see. If he beats Novak it will be total heaven.

Thank you very much for your post and a new Grand Slam prediction. I think we are all excited to see how stars are influencing the upcoming Wimbledon!

The ATP should make all the players lay open their birth times for her profiles ☺

  5. I don’t understand a thing, but I predict Nole is gonna be out in first round, only regarding to his current mood.

    1. That’s an interesting comment, Anqi. I hadn’t clocked about Nole (Novak’s) mood. We shall soon see. best, Sally

    2. Patrick Rudolf

Heard that Djoker lost to youngster Alex Zverev in training days before tournament start. Maybe he is not at his best right now. Wonder if Kohli can challenge jim today..

      1. Someone else suggested that Djokovic isn’t in the right mood so perhaps this has something to do with it. I don’t know. We can only make assumptions about what’s going on behind the scenes. Everyone has a public face and a private face. Time will tell. best, Sally

  7. Berdych’s natal mercury which is the dispositor of his Virgo sun is conjunct the ascendant of the chart of the tournament, Virgo 19°.

    1. Yes, and he has a lovely Jupiter transit of his natal Venus. Without a time of birth, it’s hard to say whether this links to career/success but Berdych’s chart matches up with the Wimbledon chart, albeit in a small way. best, Sally

Trying to analyse your teaser, Sally, with my amateurish knowledge I recognised the following.as it might underline my first, more intuitive, interpretation:

-The tournament’s chart shows an almost conjunction of the positions of Midheaven and Mercury at 15 Gemini 47 and 15 Gemini 46. I guess this favors players with the same: Mercury at Gemini? Murray has this, Djokovic and Nadal, too. Roger not, nore Stan.

-Besides that, Murray has his natal Midheaven also in Gemini, again same as the tournament’s chart. But it goes on: Andy has the same ascendant Virgo, same moon in sagittarius as well as the tournament’s chart. Do these aspects make him the ultimate favorite?

    1. Well that’s interesting Patrick! I don’t actually understand any of all this but you seem to have a working knowledge of such things – and as a Murray fan, I am pleased with your analysis! It remains to be seen what Sally thinks!

      1. Patrick Rudolf

Thank you Lucy! Very nice to read! Studying Sally’s Grand Slam predictions is a great lesson.. ☺ I would be happy for Andy, too, as he’s a great guy and deserves to better his Grand Slam final balance!

    2. Good analysis, Patrick. Yes, Murray’s definitely being boosted by the current astrology. Good news for him. Let’s hope he makes the most of it. best, Sally

  10. Here we go again! I’ve been waiting for this. Looking quickly all I see for the start of the tournament is that Federer’s 15 degree Leo sun is sextile the m.c of the start of Wimbledon. He’s also got a virgo ascendent. Wish the degree was in his 1st house though not the 12th. My big wish is that luck is on his side this year and he beats all the top seeds but I’m not advanced enough to predict ANYTHING.

    1. Thanks, Jackie. I hope Federer has a good tournament too. Astrologically you can’t say he looks a likely winner but he often plays his best tennis at Wimbledon. best, Sally

    1. Similar only in so much as they share a close Ascendant/Midheaven combination. Otherwise, very different charts. best, Sally

  11. logical order based on strenght and grass:
    1.djokovic 2.murray 3.federer 4.wawrinka & nishikori (+ tall-strong servers variable)

coffee cup stars, my personal system prediction:
1nishikori. he wins the final against murray

    bonus:
    prono on sally astrology prono!!!:
she’s going to go with andy murray

    1. Well, my heart is with Andy Murray so you’re right on that one. Nishikori to win, that is an interesting prediction. I can’t see anything in the astrology that supports your coffee cup stars but I shall be watching with interest. best, Sally

    1. The only planet in Scorpio is Saturn so it’s more a dampener rather than action. Not close enough to Federer’s Moon to weigh him down fortunately. best, Sally

  12. Hi Sally, thanks for posting this. I hope you have had some rest. Employers these days have lost their minds! Mercury right on the Gemini midheaven of the chart so the theme for this tournament will be very mercurial. A comfortable and enjoyable tournament as Tennis is ruled by Gemini. Should favour the players with favourable Mercury placements and those with Gemini energy. Moon in Scorpio conjunct Saturn. Hard work physically or emotionally for those with Scorpio energy. Federer has his Moon in Scorpio, Nadal is Scorpio rising and Djokovic has his midheaven in Scorpio so challenges for them maybe? Although, Djokovic is a Capricorn rising so he should be well versed with Saturnian energy.

    1. hi Shelley, yes I’m feeling rested thank you. Sometimes one whole day away from work is all you need and it was glorious sunshine which helped 🙂 I agree with the Gemini/Mercury bias. The Moon is in Sagittarius though not Scorpio? I agree with you too that Saturnian energy suits Djokovic. Some people work well with Saturn, others feel weighed down by its relentless nature. best, Sally

    1. Thanks Chandra, always interested to see what other astrologers say. I must keep an eye on Mente Perfecta. Yes, I’ve heard elsewhere that the Big Four won’t win any Grand Slams this year, although Djokovic did win the Australian Open, does that count? We’ll know soon enough re. Wimbledon. Ferrer’s out, I couldn’t see anything exceptional in Tomic’s chart so maybe one of the others. I did name a few that I liked astrologically – Wawrinka (again!), Cilic, Berdych and Kokkinakis’ chart looks full of surprises! best, Sally

      1. Hi Sally,

No, the Australian Open did not account. Maxi did it after the Australian Open.

I hope that clears it up for you.

        Kind Regards

  13. Hi Sally, thank again for posting this time for Wimbledon. I also had a look for the chart plus a close look to some of the horoscopes of the most dominant guys. Murray seems to have a birth chart with some similarities to the event chart. However one must question if this extremely relevant or if the current transits affecting each player can actually have more effect on the astrological output for the next couple of weeks.
Plus as you so well said there is the “breakthrough duo of jupiter and uranus” uranus is about surprises so should we expect a breakthrough of some those young guns? Please enlighten us. Iam quite curious. Last RG was a turn around of surprises. Hopefully this one willl reveal some interesting ones too. Wish you the best and the best of luck for your prediction winner 🙂

    1. Thanks, Sam. Interesting comment. On one level, I think it’s important to remember that astrology is a symbolic language and sometimes it’s the simple astrology that points the way. So yes, I think the fact that Murray’s chart is similar to the Wimbledon chart is important, plus he does have a lovely transit of Jupiter trine his natal Moon Sagittarius as the tournament begins, so he has a bit of both.
I am intrigued by Mercury linking in to the Jupiter/Uranus trine which is a ‘breakthrough’ aspect, favouring all that’s new. That’s why I checked out the charts of some of the up-and-coming players, e.g. Jack Sock, Dominic Thiem, Borna Coric. The one who’s linked in most closely to the current astrology is Thanasi Kokkinakis with his Sun at 20 Aries.
Looking forward to the tennis. best, Sally

    1. Yes, but it depends which time of birth is right. He has a stunning Solar Return if the time of 11:25 pm is right. Jupiter conjunct the Midheaven, i.e. the success planet on the success point. best, Sally

  14. @ Sally

That birth time you have for Djokovic is not right.

Argentine astrologers which have predicted all his slam wins since 2011 have another birth time. 10:35 am.

You have the birth time from astro, com data bank which is 11:25 pm. But we saw with Nadal that their birth times are iffy.

According to astrodestino deportes Argentine astrologers Djokovic’s real birthtime is 10:35 am not 11:25 pm.

    http://foro.astrodestino.com.ar/archive/index.php/novak-djokovic-t11961.html

    1. Chandra, I used to have a birth time of 11:00am for Djokovic but I think the Capricorn Ascendant suits him better. He looks a little like a mountain goat (and I mean that nicely 🙂 ). I did check out the link you posted so thank you and yes, of course Mente Perfecta is Maxi. We’ve been in contact for a few years now. I knew that but had forgotten. I can’t see from the post where the birth time of 10:35am is confirmed from so for now I have to stick with what I know unless I hear more. best, Sally

    2. Patrick Rudolf

Birth time for Djoker 10:35 A.M. gave him a Moon in Pesces, Ascendant in Lion and Midheaven Taurus? Djoker so sensitive to have this moon??

Guess that 11:00 P.M. or 11:35 P.M. suits far better to him with both Ascendant Capricorn, Midheaven Scorpio and Moon Ariens. Maybe you have mixed A.M. and P.M.? 10.35 P.M. would also mean the latter combination Capricorn/Scorpio/Ariens.

      1. I think the late night combination – Capricorn ASC/Scorpio MC/Moon Aries suits him better. His tennis can be relentless, almost machine-like when he’s on form. He doesn’t come across as a hugely sensitive type, at least not in the way he plays. All tennis players have strong emotions and some show them more than others but the early morning combination is too much of a pussy cat for me rather than the mountain goat who knows where he’s heading and why. I know there’s always been this query over a morning or a late-night birth time. Even on Astrodienst, one astrologer from astrologyserbia said 11am first of all but then the birth time of 11:25pm is apparently confirmed by a registrar who works in the births department. You’d have to ask his Mum or a member of his family to be sure I imagine. Now who’s going to be up for that? best, Sally

  15. Hi Sally,

So how will Nadal go this year? Can he reach till quarter final where he has to play Andy Murray? It will be exciting to see the battle between them. also what are his chances in US open this year? This year has not been that fruitful for him.

I hope he comes back even stronger next year and win couple of slams.

    1. Dear Rafa Fan,

Nadal will be going through is Solar Return next year. 2015 and 2016 will be tough years for him.

We have to see if Rafa continue to play through this.

      Kind Regards

      Fed Fan

      1. Fed Fan, I think you mean Saturn Return. You’re going to confuse people if you say Solar Return which happens every year for everyone (see my previous comment). best, Sally

    2. I don’t know for sure, Rafa fan. I think it depends how he finds his Saturn return and that might be a more private matter than out in the public eye. Saturn is out of the way over the summer so I’m hoping that means we’ll see him at his best for a few months at least. Wimbledon isn’t his show ground but we’ll soon find out how he fares. best, Sally

  17. Hi Sally,

Thank you for the predictions up for us to see. MENTEPERFECTA on Argentine website said this:

porque con flojita RS que tiene y Saturno transitando opo a su MC, no creo gane un GS este año.
Ni Roger, Ni Nole (ademas Sol rige su Asc), Ni Murray (Saturno opo mercurio natal en la proxima RS) poco de Rafa….

    Google translate

RS dodgy because you have and Saturn transiting your MC opo, I do not win a GS this year.
Neither Roger, Nole Ni (also Sun rules the Asc), Ni Murray (Saturn natal mercury opo next RS) bit of Rafa ….

So, Murray, Federer, Nole and Rafa will not win any remaining slams this year. Djokovic is going through his Solar Return, Roger is going through it now. Murray got it as well.

    Fed Fan

    1. I’m not so sure about your last sentence there, Fed Fan. If you mean Saturn return rather than Solar return, Nadal’s is this year, Djokovic & Murray’s next year. Not Roger though. He’s had his – it takes place when you’re 29 1/2. If you do mean Solar Return, then everyone has one of those once a year on their birthday. It’s when the Sun returns to the place it was in the heavens when you were born hence the saying ‘Many Happy Returns’. The Solar Return is a symbolic chart for your year ahead and is unique to each individual.
I see that Maxi is predicting no Big Four winners of a Grand Slam for the rest of the year. We’ll find out soon enough. best, Sally

    1. Hi Ryan,

Nadal will not win Wimbledon due to his Solar Return – Murray is going through the same problem with his Solar Return read my above post as Argentine Website said that None of the big guns will win Wimbledon and USO. It will be someone new.

      Kind Regards

      Fed Fan

  18. Hi Sally,

This was posted on Lana Wooster Website but she didn’t mentioned about the Solar Return on any of the remaining players.

    Men’s Seeds

    No. 1 – Novak Djokovic

As with most of these, I have written a great deal about Novak Djokovic over the last few years. But last year, I acquired his birthtime and Ascendant, which refined the picture astrologically. The most fascinating thing about his chart is a very mentally focussed triple conjunction of the Part of Fortune, Mercury and Chiron in Gemini on the cusp of his 11th House. There is more to Novak Djokovic than just a top tennis player: he is interested in promoting peace in his native Balkan area, and he is also interested in healthy lifestyles such as veganism. The triple conjunction translates in his tennis as a super concentration, and joy in using that faculty. Outside the tennis court, there is a talent and inspiration (Part of Fortune) for combining conventional medicine (Mercury) with alternative medicine (Chiron), and applying that in groups and associations (11th House). As Wimbledon begins, Saturn is exactly trine his natal Moon, a steadying influence especially emotionally. By the end of Wimbledon, that is still operational, but added to that is Mercury sextile his natal Midheaven (mental faculties applied in career), and Uranus sextile his natal Chiron (surprise healing). So it does look as though he will start slow and steady, and be capable of a flourish at the end. The very constructive trine of Saturn to his natal Moon peaks on Friday 10th July around the semi-finals, which should secure him a place in the final at least.

    No. 2 – Roger Federer

Roger Federer has had a much better year this year, arriving as No. 2 seed (he was placed fourth last year). It is good to see that this record breaking champion has not lost his appetite for the game. What is the secret of his outstanding success from his birthchart? I believe it is his close conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn (6 degrees 13 mins and 7 degrees 19 mins) in his first house trine his Midheaven (Career Trajectory) at 6 degrees 9 mins Gemini in 9th House of International Success! Not everybody with Saturn conjunct Jupiter is able to balance it, but when it is balanced it is a formidable force of wisdom and fine judgement, and working together so precisely with his career and life direction, that astrological structure constitutes a fine instrument. His footwork has been compared to that of a ballet dancer, “the very picture of floating, effortless menace” (reported in the Guardian). That style may be a combination of his Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Libra (gracefulness) and Part of Fortune conjunct Neptune in Sagittarius (free floating!). When Wimbledon begins he has some difficult aspects (such as Pluto still dogging his Mars in opposition) but Jupiter sextiles his Pluto, which is a pretty supportive provision by the Universe. That aspect peaks this week around 2nd/3rd July (Thursday/Friday), so expect some exceptional play from him this week. He is said to feel relaxed from a good break since the French Open, and has brought his two sets of twins to Wimbledon. The twins are intriguing astrologically, but they do show up as a conjunction to Jupiter of his 5th House (Children) ruler Saturn. He is on good form, but there is no extra astrological help around the time of the final. That may not stop him, as he is one of those players, like Serena Williams, who has proved himself beyond astrological influence time and time again! However, the Pluto opposition to his Mars becomes exact around 19th July, after Wimbledon, and he may need extra rest at that time. Note that the Pluto opposition has not hampered him too much over the last year.

    No. 3 – Andy Murray

Andy Murray has not stood still this year, physically or psychologically! He has had a good year tenniswise (fresh from winning Queen’s) and personally (marriage has not done his tennis any harm). He has reportedly started working with a Psychiatrist to enhance his understanding of his own processes, and as well as his female tennis coach Amelie Mouresmo he has hired an extra assistant for back up as she is pregnant and due to give birth in August. Some doubted his choice of coach after Ivan Lendl, but the partnership is proving successful. It may be a clever move to embrace the feminine side of his brain and create a more all-encompassing and holographic consciousness. Certainly with Amelie Mouresmo’s Mercury conjunct Jupiter at the top of her chart, she is capable of helping that process. Her reputation starts on a high at the beginning of Wimbledon, with Uranus trine her Midheaven (Careerpoint), but she has one or two antagonistic transits as the Wimbledon period goes on. But it is Andy we are really interested in, and at the start of Wimbledon he has three good trines: Jupiter trine his natal Moon, Uranus trine his natal Saturn and (most profound of the three) Pluto trine his Ascendant. The latter peaks two days after Wimbledon, which is close to the final, and speaks of a height of personal power. I feel this is an encouraging sign for his prospects of winning, though in the draw he is up against Nadal (seeded 10) and Federer en route to a possible final with Djokovic.

    1. Thanks for this, Federer. Some good astrology in there although I don’t agree with all of it. Lana is using the Djokovic time of 10:35am which gives him a Leo Ascendant and Venus in Taurus conjunct his Midheaven. The main astrology I disagree with is regarding Federer and Pluto opposite his Mars. He crashed out of the Australian Open earlier this year when Pluto was exactly opposite his Mars. I agree with most of what she says about Murray though. His astrology is strong and I’m hoping that means he’ll do well. best, Sally

20. More predictions from the Argentine astrologers.

Djokovic’s solar year that goes from May 2015 to May 2016 based on his solar return.

    http://foro.astrodestino.com.ar/showpost.php?p=228222&postcount=1087

    By Juan Cruz

His solar return has a very tight Sun opposite Saturn aspect, It will be very hard for him to win a slam during this period, (RG 15, WB 15, US Open 15 y AO 16).

    http://foro.astrodestino.com.ar/showpost.php?p=228223&postcount=1088

    By FranzuaDubal

A Sun-Saturn opposition in solar return is a very bad aspect, for a “solar” figure like him (n°1in th world)

and it is confirmed because Venus is not in a god position either (it does not aspect
    natal or solar Júpiter)

It will be a year of “not defending titles”, plus the loss of the number one place in the rankings,

Even though Jupiter for the US Open will be in Virgo in trine to his natal Venus, with that solar return it will be difficult that a transit helps him too much.

    1. hi Chandra, this uses the 10:35 birth time. I use Solar Returns as a testimony to the natal chart, i.e. to back it up, but I wouldn’t consider the symbolism of it first. Having said that, Djokovic has had Saturn opposite his Sun, exact in January and May 2015, yet he won the Australian Open in January. So, I think that suggests that Djokovic 11:25pm birth time is to be considered as Djokovic works well with Saturn, due to his Capricorn Ascendant (Saturn rules Capricorn). It’s always tricky when you get these different birth times but we should find out more about Djokovic as we find out how he plays now and throughout the rest of the year. best, Sally

  21. come on, you can’t choose both of the two top favorites for the bookies to win, where’s the fun??!?

you can’t only fail really big if you miss it…

you can’t certainly get any credit if you “picked the right ones”

    1. important spelling mistake.
you “can” only fail really big if you miss it…

anyway, good luck to all tennis fan

    2. I can pick who I want actually, ginolatino 🙂 It’s my article. Having said that, I like the astrology for the two of them, Djokovic/Murray, best so why go for someone else? I have chosen some ‘best of the rest’ players too for you but it’s always more challenging when you don’t have a birth time. and… whoever I pick, you can still choose who you want and we can all enjoy the tennis so it’s win-win all round. best, Sally

  23. Thank you, Sally! Your astrological analysis of the big tennis tournaments is an absolute treat for us fans of tennis and astrology! I always learn new things here!

The chart for the start of the French Open certainly told “the story” there.

It looks like the chart for the start of Wimbledon is very good for both Djokovic and Murray.

But, it looks like transiting Mercury will be within range of the opposition to Neptune for both guys on the day of the final. I’ve read that “confusion” can be an expression of this transit.

Do you think this could be problematic for these players, or are other factors such as the good connections to the tournament chart more significant? And, if it results that both players are in the final, well, one of them has to win, Mercury opposition to Neptune and all!

    1. Thanks AstroTennis. A Mercury transit is one of the minor transits but yes, it could have an added influence on or around the final in particular. In the chart of the start of the Wimbledon tournament, the Moon squares Neptune first and then opposes Mercury so this theme is being picked out right from the beginning. I’m not sure what it means – I wondered about rain with Neptune ruling water, but I think we’re in for a heatwave so that’s probably not right. Maybe some problem with times/scoring. I don’t know, we shall have to wait and see. best, Sally

  25. hello sally as per the sidereal system of astrology i too came to the conclusion that it will be a djokovic murray final most probably. my feeling is murray has got the edge.talking of nadal if he reaches the quarterfinals then he becomes the 3rd favourite. nadal may lose early but as jupiter enters leo on 6.07.2015 as per sidereal system it becomes more favourible for nadal. in case he reaches the quarters then the nadal murray winner will most probably go on to win wimbledon

  26. interesting sally,i was in hospitalised for the last one month and im unable to share my prediction about french open,…………..thats okay regarding nole with this tough draw im confident he wont win the touranament.reagrding andy he will loose his grip when nadal or fedex on his opponent on the net………………nadal has the easy draw he can make it when he do some good show………nadal will win the touranament based on his draw,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,high tough draw for djokovic he is depressed now he might loose againt philip or hewitt.

    thanks and warm regards,

  29. Hi Sally,

The time is definitely favorable for Geminis.

Look at Jelena Ostapenko! She not only shocked Carla Suarez Navvaro in straight sets but also bageled her in the Second! 🙂

  30. Hi Sally, Thanks for you Prediction. Hope Rafa will play good tennis from now at-least after disappointment of RG loss and recent struggle. Even though I am a great fan of Rafa, I personally feel that Murry will lift the trophy. :))))). Have to Wait and see ..

    1. The Big Four all through the 1st round. Sounded easy for Federer and Nadal. Murray made a bit of a meal of things yesterday but it’s early days 🙂 best, Sally

  32. Hi Sally,
Thanks for the predictions. I have always enjoyed your blog. I have one suggestion for you. Can you make your writings so that a layman like me can understand. For example, when I read the prediction for Nadal, I could not understand a thing. I mean, when you say so and so is closer to so and so, I do not know if it is good for him or not. I would prefer after every astrological statement you make, you also tell us what that means in layman’s terms. Alteast add good, bad monikers after each statement? I don’t mean to offend you. May be it’s just me. It’s just a feedback.

    Thanks
    Sachin Tendulkar

    1. hi Sachin, thanks for your comment and no, I’m not offended. I try to balance my articles so people who understand astrology can learn from them and a lot of people say I express the astrology clearly. However, I might have the balance out and I will take this into account next time for all of you who don’t understand the astrology (and don’t care either but just want to know the prediction!). best, Sally

  33. Am just wondering whether doing a horary question??? I know that you Sally do it as you have the ‘ask Sally’ on your website. So why not? Would love to see some answers from those advanced enough to try and see what comes out.

    1. hi Jackie, not quite sure what you mean? Horary questions are best for a Yes/No answer so it would have to be specific rather than ‘who will Wimbledon.’ Plus, horary does tend to work best when it relates to the person asking the question although I’m sure some astrologers would disagree. That’s my experience, at least. Hope you’re enjoying the tennis and Federer 🙂 best, Sally

    3. Samarjeet, when you get a prediction wrong, I believe it shows good form to admit it. Your prediction was for Nadal to get thrashed in the 1st round and it didn’t happen. He’s playing well. I’m currently enjoying his game against Dustin Brown 🙂 best, Sally

  35. Thanks for your input re.doing a horary question Sally. BUT what if someone asked If I made a bet on Murray for the final ,would I win the bet? That could relate to the person asking a horary question AND get an answer. Maybe there’s an astrology minded soul who ‘d like to try it.

  36. Hi Sally,

If Federer is going to have such a tumultuous astrological roller coaster in every grand slam where his stars are not favoring him, do you know what is holding off his retirement. A player of Rogers calibre will not like to go too long loosing and not entering a tournament as the favorite. There must be some fortune left in his horoscope to win. Is there one. I cannot see him retire without another slam. That will be a heart break for me.

    Thank You

    1. hi RF fan, your comment surprises me a bit because Federer has had an awesome year and he’s no. 2 in the world. He’s won some of the non Grand Slam tournaments too. Surely if he loves his tennis and he’s still winning the majority of his matches and playing well, he won’t want to retire? I saw some of his match today against Querrey and he is still the most stylish player on the circuit. Magical. I think it’s more a case of whether he plays well or not and enjoys himself than whether he is going to win another Grand Slam? best, Sally

  37. Hi sally! i have a question…..Does it ever happen that astrology says a certain thing, but the reality turns out to be quite different? If so, How often does that happen??
    Best regards,
    Ryan Fernandes

    1. hi Ryan, I can’t answer your question. My experience is that astrology works most of the time but of course not always 100% or us astrologers would be millionaires and living in luxury! A lot depends on the individual astrologer too and how good they are at interpreting the language of the stars (which is what ‘astro-logos’, astrology means). I don’t get it right every time but I can usually see what the astrology was symbolising even if I didn’t get it right first time around. Sometimes it’s a mystery but that’s the joy of astrology because it’s an art not a science in my opinion. Hope that helps a little! best, Sally

IT’S A ASTROLOGY,ON THE WHOLE MURRAY AND DJOKOVIC AS BEST ASTROLOGY FOR WINNING WIMBLEDON.HOWEVER IT DEPENDS ON WHO PLAY WITH WHOM AND WHOSE ASTROLOGY IS BEST AMONG THE TWO PEOPLE.MURRAY AND DJOVIC COULD LOSS IF ANY DARK HORSE COMES ON THEIR ROAD.DJOKOVIC IS ODDMAN IN THIS TOURNAMENT.MURRAY HAS HURDLE WITH EITHER RAFA OR FEDEX.SO GO BY YOUR HEART AND WATCH EACH AND EVERY MATCH BASED ON THAT U CAN COME TO CONCLUSION BY YOUR OWN.

        Hi Saravanan,
can you write in normal form as everybody else here in the blog rather than using exclusively BIG LETTERS, please? Obviously there seems to be a big need by yourself to be seen here with your personal astrological interpretations. People might notice your comments with small letters, as the others, too. Moreover your predictions are made based on high recognition but already Nadal’s early drop out shows a bug mistake. So thanks for adapting your spelling stxle.

  39. Sally,

Thanks for the response. So Federer does not have a chance at all to win this Wimbledon or his chances are next best to Murray and Djokovic? Who has the 3rd best stars to win this? Is it Federer?

    Regards

    1. Astrology doesn’t really do 3rd bests! Astrologically Djokovic and Murray are my favourites. Federer’s astrology isn’t as strong as it has been with Jupiter moving away from his Leo planets but never say never and isn’t he playing some gorgeous tennis? The guy oozes style. best, Sally

    H r u ??

    Yes, u r right…it depends how u interpret astrology….

Hope u enjoyed the match which finished just right now…

  42. Lesley Jackson

Well I’m undecided to be honest. Rafa has just lost as I thought he would. I cannot understand how anyone can be tipping Rafa to win – there is something not right with him. I don’t expect him to win at present.

I think it will be one of the Geminis and I’m going to go with Murray. Let’s see what happens as I still think Stan is in with a shot but can’t see it astrologically.

  43. Hi Sally

Rafa has lost, do you think that Rafa will leave tennis within a year? I felt that he is not enjoying tennis to be honest. I personally think that Nadal is burnt out. This has happened to Hewitt.

Will things get better for Roger as the tournament goes along in Astrology?

I do not know where is Juan, he or she has been so quiet about Wimbledon.

    Kind Regards

    1. hi Fed fan, will try and chase up Juan as everyone’s missing him. Rafa’s Saturn Return is going to be decisive for him, for sure. I don’t feel confident about his future. It must be disheartening if you’re not playing as well as you would like to and when you drop from being no. 1 seed to being no. 10 seed (and I expect he’ll drop lower now?), it must be hard to pick yourself up again. Roger doesn’t have amazing astrology this Wimbledon but he is picking up a little on the Gemini vibe with his Gemini Midheaven (career point) and the fact that Jupiter, the lucky planet, remains in Leo. He loves Wimbledon too and his tennis is sublime. I hope he’s around for a while yet. best, Sally

  45. Hi Sally

I got a feeling that Nadal will be the first one to retire as he is not enjoying tennis as much as Roger. Nadal has lost power of speed.

Can Roger Federer overcome the power of Astrology like Serena Williams?

    Kind Regards

    1. I’ve just commented on Nadal. Maybe it’s time he swapped Uncle Tony for a new coach? A lot of people tweeting about that yesterday. That could be part of his Saturn return, moving up a notch. Roger’s usually been in sync with his astrology to be fair but we’ll soon find out. I suspect not but I might well be wrong. best, Sally

Still harping on about drug cheats?? You should shut up or clear off. You’ve been told before and I’m sure Sally will remind you again and then maybe bar you from this discussion as it’s about astrology not a platform for you to keep making your libellous statements about Nadal.

    1. Dear Lesley,

Some people like to ruined things for others.

I hope Juan will come back on here, I am having problems posting my comments for some reason.

      Kind Regards

      1. OK, they’re all coming in now, your comments. Don’t know what the problem was earlier. Approving them all. best, Sally

  50. Hi All

I am not surprised that Nadal is out. I knew Brown was a dangerous floater.

Nadal looked burned out to me.

    1. Trina, this is your comment, isn’t it? This one came through fine and is now approved. Dustin Brown was so dangerous on the court – loved watching him although feel sorry for Nadal. best, Sally

    2. Dustin Brown, b. December 8 1984. 30 years of age and a flamboyant Sagittarius. Loved his energy. Yes, Nadal struggled against him. Kept trying to pull it out of the bag but just couldn’t keep it going somehow. Feel sad for Rafa. He needs to regroup, me’thinks. best, Sally

  51. It’s about time I looked at Nadal, now No. 10, for this year! Thanks for pointing out he has an easy ride until the Quarterfinals – we will see more of him then. At this point in time, he has Uranus trine Uranus, so he could pull some surprises out of the bag. Like Querrey he has Mars opposite his Neptune, so his emotions are stirred. The Nodal Axis squares his Neptune, so he has to stay true in his spirituality otherwise that can affect his karma. And Mars trines his Pluto so he has extra energy and power at this time. At the end of Wimbledon, he has lost the Mars aspects, including the very powerful one, so he may have gone out of the tournament.

    1. … and he’s out. I think Saturn is causing him problems this year. I thought it might not as it’s back in Scorpio until mid-September and not in Sagittarius where Nadal’s Saturn is but it seems to be the case. Thanks for your comment. best, Sally

      1. hi sally as per sidereal system saturn is placed in the 8th house from his natal moon in his birth chart in scorpio. moon is in aries in 8.5degrees in his natal chart. when this combination is in the birth chart and repeats in transit after about 29 to 30years it becomes doubly bad. this is what has happened to nadal. moreover he is running the main period of moon since july 2015. moon is aflicted by north node in his natal chart. moon is the significator of mind . two things made nadal a great champion. his mental strength and his forehand. he has lost his mental strength since his moon period started and his biggest weapon the forehand since saturn entered scorpio on 21.10.2014 as per sidereal astrology. jupiter enters leo on 06.07.2015 which is the 5th from natal moon this is a favourable transit. in august jupiter will be in exact trine from natal moon and also transiting on mc as per 19.10 hrs birth time. it will be interesting to see if his performance improves at that time.

        1. Thanks for your sidereal perspective, James. From a tropical astrology perspective, Nadal should pick up when Jupiter goes over his Midheaven (7:10 pm birth time) which would coincide with what you’re saying – August/September 2015. best, Sally

  52. Lana’s Prediction for Roger Federer
    ————————————————–

I would not rule out Roger winning. It is just that there can only be one winner, so I am looking for the player with the best transits at the final. Even so that may not be the winner, as other factors may come into play.

    U.S. Open 2015

At the beginning of the US Open Chiron from Pisces in his 7th House will be trine Roger’s Moon in Scorpio in his 3rd House. This may be more of a personal transit, connected with the relationships with the women in his life. But the constructive transit will impinge on his mood on the court, and that seems sound. He will feel quite together, so to speak!
By the end Mars trines his Neptune, which is not such a major transit but still quite constructive for his mood and psychology. He could be quietly pleased with his overall performance, but it is not a stunning end to that season.

    Australian Open 2016

At the beginning of the Australian Open, the strongest transits are Jupiter squaring his Neptune and Saturn trine his Mercury. Jupiter squaring his Neptune may overinflate his hopes, but Saturn trine his Mercury will help his concentration.
Though he still has Jupiter square his Neptune at the end, if he gets to the final he has a good chance of succeeding as Jupiter will also by then be trine his natal Chiron, which is very healing and restorative for him. That factor may help him feel that he is back on track, where he wants to be.

    French Open 2016

The beginning of the French Open also looks promising for Roger, with Saturn back in trine with his Mercury (serious concentration and focus), and in addition Uranus trine his Neptune (complex understanding), plus a more personal perhaps trine from Pluto to his Venus (personal fulfillment and good relations in his life).
It should be a good tournament for him, but he may not reach the final as some of his favourable aspects have gone off the boil by the end. Saturn will still be trine his Mercury, and Jupiter will be sextile his natal Mars (energy maintained well), but the planetary support I feel is not quite there.

So the Australian Open looks to be the best tournament for him overall. In my analysis you have to remember I am only looking at his chart, and not comparing it with the favourable aspects of other players at this stage.

    Hope you find that interesting,

    Love
    Lana

    1. Thanks for posting this from Lana. I do have a problem with astrologers citing Chiron as a positive energy. In my experience, it’s difficult as it’s the wounded healer and associated with suffering. I haven’t yet seen it as an easy, uplifting force. However, time will tell. best, Sally

  54. I’d love to see a final between Fabulous Federer and Brown. By far the two most interesting players there are. Hopefully Fed will overstep any negative astrology there is. Sally,do you see a chance for Brown to get at least to the semi’s?

    1. hi Jackie, sorry a bit late to comment on this one. Brown’s out – the Sagittarius whirlwind. Federer still playing well 🙂 best, Sally

  55. Hi Sally, thanks for the correction yes moon in Sagittarius not Scorpio. I looked at it wrong. (He..he) Pretty fascinating about Murray’s chart – well let’s be honest he should win a few more wimbledons before he retires with talent he has. His problem in my opinion is his attitude and beating himself up on the court and his box. Get that under control and he can be world number one. I missed the match between brown and Nadal yesterday but honestly I don’t think I would have enjoyed it as I am a Nadal fan. Brown is nice to look at but he’s not a great player. So a real loss for Nadal. I remember when federer was having his Saturn return he had a drought with grandslams so I think the same will happen to Nadal. Saturn returns are interesting because some people thrive with the difficult energy and others do not. Nadal is a champion and is used to winning so battling the restrictions of Saturn really hurts him.

    1. Agreed re. Nadal, Shelley. I think it’s going to be a tough Saturn return for him. The player who will probably fare best during his Saturn return is Djokovic as Saturn is his ruling planet. He and Murray have their Saturn returns next year. I watched some of Murray v. Seppi yesterday. Murray should have won in 3 straight sets but he imploded in the 3rd set – all mental, by the looks of things. He has to handle that better and become Mr Consistent (I’m talking of Djokovic) if he’s to win more Grand Slams. Still fancy his chances this time around or at least the stars are blessing him :). best, Sally

Nole, Roger, Rafa, Andy and an appointment with the Great Master

Lord of time and solitude, is the father and lawgiver rigid limits; It represents the old and traditional things. Cold nature of delays and hampers the events for that teaches us to be patient and consistent. And often through pain and suffering. Saturn is one of the cronocatores of astrology and a key player in the fabric of the universe. Giving his first steps in Sagittarius retrograde temporarily for a few months in this 2015 to the last degrees of Scorpio and definitely to enter and leave their teachings in the sign of fire (from September 2015) for the next three years.

Sagittarius is the sign of sport and the house of Jupiter, expansion, joy, generosity, waste and exaggeration among so many of its features. Saturn by this sign will leave its mark in the tennis world because Sagittarius crown “to the great” (that is the grandiose, colossal) and Saturn brings its rigidity, its thoroughness; close, contracts and delay. It will hit those who are accustomed to their laurels and reward their way to the children of patience, perseverance and constancy. So from that 2015 will push the top players at a very difficult circuit to achieve great conquests (read Grand Slams) when many of the great players begin new Solar Return (RS) from May 2015 period.

Let’s start with Andy Murray changing the May 15 return. Scot comes from playing the final of Australia 2015 after his post-operative back in 2014 without being able to recover the superlative game that led him to win Wimbledon and the US Open. That’s because it is under RS, the current, very bad with his bullfighting Sun receiving opposition from Saturn when it was yet to Scorpio. Changing return will not help much in this 2015 to recover because Saturn since 2nd of Sagittarius will be his opposite this time ruler of the Ascendant and Midheaven, which is the planet almuten of his birth (the strongest), the man who shows the mental agility and skill with the hands and wrists: Mercury located in the 3rd degree of Gemini.

While Mars, the lesser evil, remain above that home planet so you should take care of these parts of the body and the physical in general to avoid falling into another injury. It will be difficult to win a Grand Slam for the remainder of 2015 including Australia 2016 under this configuration.

We saw some of the great Nole, current world no.1 Novak Djokovic, the charisma of a champion. With a Sun in Gemini in the 0 ° is as follows who affect Saturn. If the Ascendant is our mask, as we see, the Sun of a person is the beginning of life and light, source of vitality, it is your ego, your essence, your inner fire, is what we did in this life.

Nole in the case of a Gemini you see as your Sun Saturn in opposition affect all these values and meanings bringing a difficult period in his personal life. With this aspect being, the person himself does not shine, no longer stands because saturnine nature is the opposite of the Sun, is the dark, shadow, is the cold that will bring doubts, inhibition and lack of confidence in same. It will be difficult to see Nole lift a Grand Slam under this solar period 2015/16 and that includes Roland Garros, Wimbledon, the US Open in 2015 and Australia in 2016.

I am convinced that if Rafa Nadal was born in antiquity and look your letter does not hesitate to say that he was born to be a warrior or a gladiator from the Roman Colosseum. With this upward Scorpio and Mars in its exaltation is one hundred percent real what we see it: pure muscle, strength, courage, vitality. An animal on the court who never tires of run and hit the little ball with tremendous ability to play marathon matches and wear down his opponent. I overdo the animal? So how can I describe a player who participates in tournaments and win games knowing suffering from appendicitis? That’s a gladiator, someone who does not give up and fight when hurt. That is his Mars as one of its almutens of his birth (the other, the incredible Jupiter in Pisces that elevated him to unimagined limits).

Rafa is entering maturity. In its mature adult life. In astrology it is what we call the Return of Saturn to its natal position and occurs around age 27 a person. According to natively it is as determined as the Grand Master will work. Rafa not only has Mars and Jupiter as native almutens. It has also to his exalted Moon in Taurus, Mercury domiciled in Gemini and Venus to Jupiter mutual reception by exaltation. Almost all strong planets. I say almost because it precisely Saturn the weakest of all to be retrograde and above its upward. And so will activate Saturn in this period, delaying, “going backwards” as indicated by the movement. A clear example of such acts retrograde Saturn in a natal chart a sports competitor is what happened to Mike Krzyzeski coach of the Dream Team in the 2006 World Basketball living his saturnine return Leo (exile) during the event his team were favorites to win the final. As natally retrograde USA had lost their semifinal matches and must settle for third place.

And worse for Rafa coming in a solar return later, when Saturn is in 2016/17 opposite his Gemini sun and see it impossible to win a Grand Slam under that period.

If there is a strong nativity planet Roger Federer that is Saturn. One of his almutens to be in Libra where the old master is exalted showing its best through this formidable player with several characteristics: plays an Orthodox that is classic tennis, is the oldest of which are among the top in the thirty-three years. In the “The older, the better” standard is met. A Saturn chord phrase, lord of the old and the old age. He already won his last Grand Slam under his saturnine return in 2012 at Wimbledon, the most classic tournament in the circuit which is still in force as traditional as wearing white rules. If there is a child of Saturn in the sport this is Roger Federer.

He is still under RS with his leonine Sol square of Saturn receiving from Scorpio and has failed to win a Grand Slam at this stage. Transiting Saturn in Scorpio has shown a decline in those who come to reap laurels (something we saw in Vicente Del Bosque and the Golden Age of Spain Selection) after passing his exaltation.

Despite that Roger has achieved very good successes, partly because of the huge influence of the transit of Uranus trine to his Sun. Uranus is a planet associated with innovations, changes, new techniques evolve and take steps forward in life demolishing the old established structures. That moment when the Swiss coincided seeing that his game was stuck he fetched a new coach. His new coach had an enormous influence on the changes necessary to give tennis was developing to ensure better results.

Witness of this are the words of a great former player like Mats Wilander:

    http://canchallena.lanacion.com.ar/m1/1722534-roger-federer-el-rey-de-la-noche

“Federer introduced major changes in his game along with Stefan Edberg. The defeat last year against Robredo was the straw that broke the camel. That’s when he decided to change his racket and call Edberg to modify his game.”

Or as chronicles the ESPN site:

    http://www.espn.cl/news/story/_/id/2119161/wimbledon-federer-el-debut-y-un-cambio-en-la-estrategia

“Among the variables that widen the contrast between 2013 and 2014, stands the figure of Stefan Edberg, twice champion of Wimbledon and the engine behind a substantive decision. Change to progress.”

Nothing more appropriate these words to describe an Uranian aspect to the Sun of a person involving the personal decision (Sun) want to evolve (Uranus). That decision in life led him back to the limelight when many predicted his retirement coming at the end of Grand Slams, winning several tournaments Master Series and an incredible level position as number 2 in the world fighting every inch of the top of ranking until the end of 2014 with Novak Djokovic.

Even so under this current RS Saturn suddenly hitting your Sun preclude him win the Grand Slam that he still has to play: Roland Garros and Wimbledon 2015.

While there are no hard aspects of Saturn at its next RS changing in August 2015 to planets in your Nativity, Grandmaster is already transiting opposed his Midheaven and still do with more force later this year putting more obstacles to when great achievements because it is the stage in life where professional successes materialize.

Nole, Roger, Rafa and Andy must deal very early in their lives with Saturn afflicting vital points in their nativities. And the result will be new names engraved on the old cups of the Grand Slams.

    1. Thank you for this lengthy and fascinating astrological description. I don’t agree with all of it but it will be interesting to see whether this is the period where the Big Four begin to make way for a new era, new winners. I like what you’re saying about Saturn, especially how most of the Big Four now face Saturn challenges and how they will deal with that. best, Sally

      1. Hi Alex,

Wow that is very interesting to read. That what I was trying to say that all big guys have not got good Astrology for GS. So, that means we are going to see new winners at Wimbledon, USO and maybe at Australian Open.

We have to wait and see what the outcome for Wimbledon. I got a feeling that neither Murray and Djokovic will reach the final. We have to see what Federer will do and see if he over comes the Astrology but you never know what the opponents will do.

        Kind Regards

        Trix

      2. Hi Sally,

The above description is from Maxi who normally post on another site, she or he got their own blog.

I do agree with you, it is very interesting about RS in their charts and with Saturn is playing hectic on their birth chart.

It looks like it tell us that that new names will win the big tournaments in GS.

        Kind Regards

    1. Rinku, there’s always hope! Did you hear Nadal in his post-match interview? He himself admitted that he wants to get back to playing at his best but he didn’t sound confident about it. I do think his Saturn return which dominates his chart later this year will be tough for him. He has a tough Saturn in his natal chart and Saturn is the taskmaster. It will be interesting to see whether he does do well in August/September when Jupiter (success) is on his Midheaven (success point) if his birth time of 7:10pm is right. Have faith, let’s see what next. best, Sally

  58. Hi Shelley/Sally,

I would appreciate if you could please have a look of what the future holds for Nadal with respect to his tennis career.

    Regards,
    Shrini

    1. I just wrote a reply to Rinku on the subject. Nadal’s got to get through his Saturn return first I believe. In his birth chart, Saturn opposes his Sun Gemini. Saturn is the enemy of the lights (Sun/Moon) and the Sun rules your vitality, your life force. With his Saturn being triggered once again (it’s in his 1st house ruling the physical body and in the past it’s been his injuries), it’s going to be hard for him to remain positive when he doesn’t play as well as he wants to. Saturn weighs you down and is a negative influence. You have to be strong to overcome it. I think he needs a new coach, new input in his life. See what happened to Federer when Edberg stepped in. His game improved again. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  60. Hi Everyone

This is from Juan on Argentine Website – he or she hasn’t been on here for a while. I miss Juan and this is what Juan said:

Well here I saw my forecast for this Wimbledon 2015.

The initial letter of the tournament shows great Mercurial, and virginiana geminiana load. Mercury in Gemini stands. This message is clear, a player of such features wins the tournament. But who?

As for my Andy Murray. The British well combined with those characteristics. Natal Ascendant in Virgo and a strong Mercury in Gemini.

If he raised his Lunar Revolution to Wimbledon I meet a partile conjunction of Venus and Jupiter being these planets Regents of I and X of the month. A superb addition to the natal Moon trine to 21º Sagittarius. As if that were not enough, RL Mercury is sextile to his natal Jupiter beneficial Aries-17th.

The only thing that gives me pause is the time when he made his debut in the tournament. It has a rather poor debut letter, but we have seen that the debut letters are not as crucial as what we thought at first.

Regarding Federer and Djokovic, what has been said at Roland Garros: I doubt they can win GS under the current solar revolution Saturn hurting their Suns. Djokovic can to reach the final but I see no gain. I put some chips to Wawrinka in that key, perhaps eliminating the Serbian.

For me this year the Scottish lift his second title at the All England.

But Maxi – MENTEPERFECTA said this:

Enjoy it !! …. because it has dodgy RS and Saturn transiting your MC opo not think a GS win this year.
Neither Roger, Nole Ni (also Sun rules the Asc), Ni Murray (Saturn natal mercury opo next RS) bit of Rafa ….
The Japanese (transiting in trine Jupiter partile his sun comes Ferrer (NN passing near the solar dispositor mentioned in RG + RS), Tomic (Sun-Venus in the RS), ……. for final US Open 2015) …… and some other “new” that escapes me.

Who is right and who is wrong? I am really confused. Now Juan is saying that Murray will win Wimbledon but Maxi said no

I am really confused who will win. Juan and FranzuaDubal said Murray but Maxi said no.

We have to wait and see who is right and who is wrong.

    Kind Regards

    1. Exactly! We have to wait and see. Different astrologers will interpret the astrology using their own techniques. Thanks for posting this though. Interesting. best, Sally

  61. Hi roger’s fan, as Sally pointed out Murray’s chart is very similar to the tournaments chart so I would back Murray to win.

Rinku, I hope to see Nadal around for years to come. It all depends on how he handles his Saturn return, and Neptune squaring his sun. If he can weather these storms then he might be around for a few more years. I think he has a lot going on off the court that he needs to sort out.

I had a look at Dustin brown his dob is 8 December 1984 which makes him a Sagittarius. The Moon is in Sagittarius in the tournament’s chart so he helps to fulfil that energy.

  63. Shelley, It would be sad for me when Rafa retires. I might not follow tennis after that for a while. Hope he continue for 2-3 years though.

  64. So does this mean Roger has a better chance at US Open when he is not under the spell of Saturn hurting the sun. But according to Sally Rogers best time expires Aug 11 of this year meaning his stars will be weak before US OPEN. It will be very sad if he goes 3.5 years in a row without winning a slam. Can a divine intervention overhaul astrology?

    1. No, Roger best time does not expires on Aug 11, Sally said about Jupiter leaving the sign of Leo into Virgo but remember Roger has got Virgo Ascendant in his birth chart which means income. So, best times are coming for Roger because he will be entering new Solar Return which is better than the one he has got now.

      Kind Regards

      1. Have you checked out his Solar Returns? I will have a look too when I predict for the US Open. Thanking you. best, Sally

        1. Yes, it will improve slightly but not for Grand slams as Maxi said that he is still under that awful transit.

Roger will have to ride it out!

          Kind Regards

    2. The August 11th date refers to Jupiter leaving Leo, Roger’s Sun/Mercury sign. It’s been a positive year for him (even if he hasn’t won a Grand Slam, he’s been playing superb tennis and is the no. 2 seed). Jupiter will connect with his Virgo Ascendant next, although that’s not usually connected to his career. I will look at his new Solar Return when I make the predictions for the US Open. best, Sally

      1. Personally I would think that Roger’s career is top of what makes him happy ,of course along with his kids and wife. But correct me Sally if I’m wrong but success for a leo along with being ‘top dog’ is where it’s at. Lots of people are sad because Nadal lost. But I’ll be very sad if R.F doesnt win another grand slam this year. And I was upset that Dustin Brown did’nt win the other day. What can you see for his natal chart concerning tennis? I’m also thinking about the O2 this autumn where R.F is concerned. You’ve been so right Sally about these players!

        1. Thanks Jackie. I haven’t had a chance to look ahead to be honest with you. I agree with you re. Roger being a Leo, that his career is important to him and look how well he’s playing! Looking forward to the quarter finals. best, Sally

    3. Patrick Rudolf

Come on! He’s won 17 (!!) Grand Slams! It’s time for NEW faces. He will not play forever anyway…

      1. Patrick, he could easily sneak in an 18th Grand Slam. Roger’s playing awesome! I love watching him. best, Sally

  65. Is rf’s Jupiter and saturn not conjunct the wimbledon chart node? Also wondered about the time. Does the tournament officially start when the title holder begins? Just a few thoughts Sally.

    1. The node is closer to his Saturn. Roger has a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Libra which is lovely actually. It suggests balance and style, totally Roger. Yes, time wise you have to make a clear decision what you think is the start of the tournament and for me it’s always the time the main courts open so 11:30am but you’re right the holder doesn’t begin until later, 1pm. It might be interesting to take a look at that chart too. best, Sally

  66. Sorry to say this ,

The British hopes will end on Tuesday when Karlovic will win in 4 sets against Murray.

    1. Hi Samarjeet,

Murray is playing on Monday not Tuesday which is the Women’s Quarter finals.

      Kind Regards

  67. Hola! He vuelto jaja. Sally recibi tu mail, gracias.

Ojala me equivoque…

    Saludos!

    1. Hey Juan, fabulous to hear from you. Sorry it took me so long to reply. I’m reposting your translated comment below but basically like me you think Murray will win and it looks like a Murray-Wawrinka final. Bring it on… so glad you’re back. best, Sally

“Hi! I came back haha. Sally received your mail, thank you.

I see that we agree in predicting this time! For me Andy Murray will be the champion. As I said in the AstroDestino Forum, I think his Lunar Revolution is excellent and that makes her triumph.
Moreover, as also Sally said, the initial letter speaks of a Mercurial Wimbledon champion, Geminiano and me is Murray.

This is the last Grand Slam Federer will play under this solar revolution with Sun-Saturn square. As I have been saying for 1 year, it is very difficult to win a big bass that. And Wimbledon will not be the exception. And also I’ve been saying, I think you will have more chances in the GS with the new RS. Also in the current RL, the Sun is square to his natal Saturn. It shows the frustration of not being able to win Wimbledon this year again. Ojala me wrong …

And on the side of Djokovic, as I said, he began with an RS Sun-Saturn opposition. I said that this will lower the performance will be difficult to win a GS under this period. Look what happened in RG 2015, he came as top seed but Saturn has begun to show its truth. You can make a good Wimbledon but for my win and can not be a surprise and Wawrinka reach the final because I see a good lunar revolution.

      Greetings!”

  68. Hola! He vuelto jaja. Sally recibi tu mail, gracias.

Ojala me equivoque…

    Saludos!

  69. Hola Juan

Maxi said that none of the big names will win Wimbledon. Murray has not got good RS in his chart. Read ALEX post of what Maxi said.

    Kind Regrds

    Miss Fed

    1. Hola.

      Saludos!

      1. Hola Juan

Thank you for your insight. Oh great Murray going to win it can’t stand the hype he creates.

Juan, please come back to Roger Federer. Com Astrology thread. We are missing you there.

        Kind Regards

        1. hi sally,

im not sure what is happen with rafa i did nt see his game during dusting brown match, simantaneously roanic, dimitrov like big hitter loss this makes djokovic reach finals very easily without much challenge.murray has hurdle with fedex.on a whole this year french open crying baby was djokovic and he will be crying baby in wimby 2015 also.

          thanks and warm regards,
          g saravanan.

          1. Patrick Rudolf

Saravanan, maybe you should better add a “MAYBE” to your personal predictions from now on. Nadal went out 2. Round while you saw him winning the tournament Ruling out too favorite Djokovic in this strict manner is another idea few may follow. You very much seem to aim for achieving attention by predicting a surprise. Maybe you will be right with one Melbourne 2018

          2. Don’t call Djokovic a crying baby, he’s an awesome player. He has passion and showed that today in his match against Anderson. best, Sally

          3. im sorry,

thanks for correcting me hence forth i wont use ridiculous words against the player.

finally murray vs djokovic in final and murray will lift in case fedex reaches final djokovic will win.

            thanks and warm regards,
            g saravanan

      2. hi Juan, I know this was for Roger’s fan but I’m adding the translation below for people who wish to read it:

        “Hello.

Yeah, I know what you think Maxi. For me the RS it is not so bad and can give you the chance to win one GS (of the 4 gs under that RS). Mars RS on his natal Mercury is giving a lot of strength! Must see as acts RS opposition to Saturn natal Mercury and the Mars. I think the current Lunar Revolution shows a Scottish triumph.

        Greetings!”

    2. We will soon know if Maxi’s predictions are correct. I have a feeling that Wimbledon will catch a big winner – I know it’s the tournament tennis players love to win. best, Sally

  70. Hy again Sally and people…I agree 100% with your prediction regarding Andy as a winner…I see it to and I totally agree with this opinion. I need to ask you dear Sally , how you feel now regarding Nadal’s birth time? Do you still think is around 18:20 or after 19:00 ? What is your opinion? I am curious to know because you are such a good astrologer and you know my opinion that I think is after 7 pm but I can’t really say exactly the minutes…I tried to recalculated by some traditional methods of Lily Williams and try then to see if this is true by watching the compatibility of the transits and the reality (if it is happening the way the stars are predicting) and so far , in my view, things were compatible….but what do you see, think? can’t wait to see the semis and the final of Wimbledon:D . Smile and be good to each other people!

    1. Hi Camila,

Sally might be right with her prediction but Maxi said that none of the big guys will win any of the remaining Grand Slams due to RS in their birth charts.

Murray might get to the final but no guarantee. We have to see what the outcome the Quarters and Semis. One thing I have noticed in Sally prediction

The Moon is in Sagittarius as the tournament begins and its next aspects are challenging ones, a square to Neptune followed by an opposition to Mercury. The ruler of the Ascendant on the Midheaven is a good case for the favourite to win the tournament but the Moon’s aspects question that statement

So what does that mean with the Moon’s aspects?

      Kind Regards

      1. The Moon’s aspects are a question mark for sure, Roger’s fan, but let’s wait and see now how the players deliver. So far all top 4 seeds have played amazing tennis. Can they keep it up? We’ll soon know. best, Sally

    2. hi Camila, thanks for your comment. I really don’t think that the time of 18:20 was right for Nadal. He was so connected to the French Open chart this year with Jupiter exactly on his Midheaven if that was the right time. I thought he had to win it if that was the case. So I’m going for the 19:10 chart at present. Let’s see how he does when Jupiter is conjunct his Midheaven, late August/early September, to verify that time. Although admittedly it’s tricky because I think he’s feeling other transits, such as his Saturn return (looming) and Pluto opposite Venus (separating). Anyway, it’s worth considering as it might make some sense to the astrology. best, Sally

      1. hi sally the time 19.10 is the most likely time of birth for nadal. jupiter will be transiting over mc in mid august. but saturns transit continues to be very bad. one has to wait and see whether saturn or jupiter will triumph for nadal.

  71. Hello Sally, so far all the tennis played at the England Club seems to be following astrology 🙂 the 4 seeds are still under the radar and playng quite amazing tennis. Is beautiful to see. However iam a bit sad for Nadal. I had a look at his chart and i have some questions regarding some transits. For example since december 2014 till november he is with a saturn conjunt saturn ( saturn as you know better than i do is about karma about lessons or situations we may overcome to succed and grow. Would you say this is a bad transit? My question is because it is a conjunction and a conjunction and sometimes is not bad. However for some individuals saturn can remove energy. Also he will have a highlight soon in august which i dont know if it will help him to succeed at US open ( jupiter conjunct mc – end of August?!). Ad to finish my intervention i have another question about jupiter. When an individual has jupiter oposition jupiter as transit can this be good? It seems is going to start for nadal by the end of november, 2015 till october 2016 alongside with saturn oposite his sun. I am asking this because even in an opposition jupiter is always a benefic planet?! Sorry to put so many questions about it but astrology seduces me a lot. Wish the best for te final days and hope a certain Britain makes history again. All the best Sally 🙂

    1. hi Sam, thanks for your comment and nice astrology. Jupiter opposite Jupiter can be positive. I’ve often see it play out that way. Yes, it’s going to be tricky to see if Nadal’s new birth time works because he’s having tough Saturn transits as Jupiter hits his Midheaven so the ‘bad’ might outweigh the ‘good’. The quarterfinals are on in the background, both Murray and Federer are cruising 🙂 best, Sally

  72. Decided to comment on my own blog! The top 3 seeds have played today, Djokovic, Federer, Murray. All won in 3 sets in the quarterfinals, in almost boring fashion. I mean no disrespect but I do love the cliff-hanger games when they have to fight for survival. Wawrinka up against Gasquet is turning into an epic battle for the last place in the semi-final. Gasquet is Sun Gemini and is pushing the Aries Wawrinka for all he’s worth. So far, the astrology is playing to form, i.e. the top 3 through and to be fair they have played some brilliant tennis to get to the semi-final stage. OK, I’m out of here to watch the end of Wawrinka-Gasquet. best, Sally

  73. Wow, how fascinating. We have semi-finals of the Geminis (Djokovic v. Gasquet) and the Gemini Midheavens (Federer v. Murray). So far the astrology is playing out to form. Before you ask, I still think it will be a Djokovic-Murray final but of course I might be proved wrong. Federer has been playing like a dream 🙂 best, Sally

  75. This was posted in an horary forum

I cast the chart for the moment when I understood your question and that is 8.Jul 2015 11:13am Beograd, Serbia, ASC-25Vi59
Let’s try this way to determine who will be the winner!
The planet with most accidental dignity in this chart is Jupiter. I surmise it will represent the winner. Also, Jupiter is ruler of the 4 house – how all will end. As Jupiter is in Leo sign that means some tennis player from the Leo country for example France or Italy. Right now we have no players from Italy but from France we have two playes: G.Simon and R.Gasquet. As Jupiter is symbol for “more, bigger,” I’d choose G.Simon as winner because he has more years and is better ranked on world tennis list.

    1. Hi Alex,

Do you have a link to this Astrologist? I would love to read it, if you don’t mind.

You know what exactly what Maxi is trying to say that either Federer, Murray, or Djokovic is going to win Wimbledon. Maxi said that there will be new winners at Wimbledon, and USO.

Murray has got bad RS which has continued from last year, Djokovic got his now. Roger is going through his.

      Kind Regards

      1. Hi Alex,

I rephased that Maxi said that neither of those names will win. Sorry I mistyped.

        Kind Regards

    2. Thanks for this Alex. Gasquet is through to the semis so you’re right, France is doing well. Could Jupiter in Leo point to a Federer win, the only Leo left in the tournament? best, Sally

      1. Planets like certain signs in which they’re said to be in ‘dignity’ i.e. strong. Jupiter likes Sagittarius and Pisces; Mercury likes Gemini and Virgo. best, Sally

  76. The astrologer thinks the Wimbledon winner will be some tennis player from the Leo country for example France.

  77. Isn’t England a Leo country or is it Capricorn? I can’t remember. As Simon lost today do we really think that Gasquet will win Wimbledon?. I don’t think he is strong enough mentally. I like your analysis Sally of the 4 semi finalists and they all are Gemini influenced as per the tournament chart.

    1. I think England is Capricorn! How do we find out? I have any of you got any information how to find out what Birth Sign is the United Kingdom?

      Kind Regards

    2. hi Shelley, re. a country’s star sign, it depends which chart you use for the ‘birth’ of the country. England is either Capricorn (the stiff upper lip, British reserve, traditions, etc) or Aries (the British bulldog fighting spirit). I can’t see Gasquet beating Djokovic either, not if he plays well. best, Sally

  80. I was wondering if there are any sports psychics are there? And does astrology match with a psychic prediction?

  81. I was wondering if there are any sports psychics are there? And does astrology match with a psychic prediction?

  82. Hi Sally, everything is going well so far just a surprise with gasquet winning. His horoscope is not the best of the last four but his transit jupiter in leo is now in his 2nd house which means good fortune. Plus in his birth chart he as jupiter as dominant planet so he has a strong jupiter in his horoscope. Also there is one transit approaching pluto conjunt his mars which can give sense of will and great decision impact. Iam just trying to get what is going around. Astrology is magic and so dificulte to interpret sometimes.
I really hope Murray wins. He has not been my favourite player in recent years but whee you look at his power, movement and self believe on court since the begining of the year you definitely feel he is a force and he definitely deserves to win this slam plus he is with very good astrology for the moment.
But one has to notice that gasquet is playing the game with great consistence and even the power of wawrinka was not enough to put him away. Djokovick has the tools but in one given day gasquet backhand and deep shots down the lines can make surprises.
If you find some time give me ypur opinion and your insight about the mentioned transits for gasquet please.
    All the best. 🙂

    1. Gasquet’s Jupiter is strong and so is his Mars in Capricorn, ruling his career. The same Mars placing as Nadal – a fighter. Pluto’s too far away from his Mars to make an impact yet. Uranus is in his career house springing surprises but nothing leaps out at the chart to shout he’ll win Wimbledon. I think it’s the Gemini factor in play linking him to the chart of the tournament. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  83. From Lana Wooster

    Richard Gasquet
As I have said before, the French are very good at birth times, so we have one for Richard Gasquet! This reveals Venus exactly on the Ascendant in Leo, which makes him astrologically a bit of an Adonis. But tenniswise it means he is a showman and greatly competitive. The competition is a very serious matter, as Saturn is at the beginning of the 5th House of Sport closely trine his natal Ascendant/Venus. Certainly he competed right to the end of the match with Wawrinka, when all might have seemed lost. Another very interesting feature of his chart is the Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio, so he is a man of deep emotion. This conjunction squares his Venus, and it may have caused problems in his emotional life, or between the women in his life. Mercury is closely opposite Mars which makes for a tense nervous system – the Guardian says this morning: “By this sage, Gasquet was reapplying the overgrip to his racket handle at every change of ends, his nerves there for everyone to see. His mental solidity has never been a strength…” But Mercury trines Jupiter, so he has a great breadth of mind, and visio-spatial capacity for reading the court. The Sun (his Ascendant ruler) is exactly sextile his natal North Node (a karmic mission as a winner), and Chiron sextiles exactly his Midheaven (a healing path in his career, broken by healing crises, which explains the gap between earlier success and now). So what are his prospects for Friday and Sunday? Friday’s aspects are mixed: Uranus squaring his Mercury (mental tension), Chiron on his Jupiter (could be a healing), North Node sextile exactly his Saturn (karmic hard work could pay off), Uranus trine his Uranus (could surprise even himself) and Nodal Axis squaring his natal Neptune (confused karma to work towards clarity). As you can see, there is a lot going on for him, so going back to his victory yesterday, was there anything different from that? No, all those aspects were there, and he used the good ones and overcame the difficult ones, to beat Wawrinka, which is possibly why the match was so tight. So looking beyond, to the final, will anything have changed? Not really, so that gives him a chance for the title. The dark horse could make it. In his synastry with Djokovic, who he plays at the men’s semis, his Uranus opposes Djokovic’s Chiron. It could be a painful match to watch in many respects. Normally, the furthest planet out has the advantage (in this case Uranus), but Chiron and Uranus are both tricksters, and can outwit each other! So, looking at my original picture for Djokovic at the final: “it does look as though he will start slow and steady, and be capable of a flourish at the end. The very constructive trine of Saturn to his natal Moon peaks on Friday 10th July around the semi-finals, which should secure him a place in the final at least.” That looks promising for him, but Gasquet’s final transits are such that he could actually triumph – I would not discount him. I think it depends how inspired Gasquet will be, for he looked tired at the end of the Wawrinka match, and tense.

    Federer vs Murray – Men’s Semi-Finals
On Men’s Semi-Final Day, Roger Federer still has Pluto opposite his Mars. While he has been working with this transit over the last two years, he went from being a victim of it, to having mastered it, and forging a state of great strength and resilience, turning it effectively from an opposition to a trine, or rising above it. Added to that, he has the X-Factor, like Serena. So to some extent, he is not relying on luck, or even the positive planetary aspects, at this final stage of that transit. He has fulfilled its requirements and potential. Of Andy I wrote on 28th: “At the start of Wimbledon he has three good trines: Jupiter trine his natal Moon, Uranus trine his natal Saturn and (most profound of the three) Pluto trine his Ascendant. The latter peaks two days after Wimbledon, which is close to the final, and speaks of a height of personal power. I feel this is an encouraging sign for his prospects of winning.” So Andy Murray has the planets on side, and if he wins, the Astrology is borne out; and if Roger wins, it will be seen that one special man can overcome astrological factors. I will have to go with the Astrology, as it is my trade, but am willing to learn otherwise from the Universe. There are asteroids and other heavenly bodies we do not know of, and are not working with at this point in time, too. In their synastry and interpersonal karma, which in 2012 was on a knife edge – one won Wimbledon, the other the Olympics, they are well-matched: Federer’s Pluto sextiles Andy’s Moon, which gives Federer the advantage of depth in their encounter; Andy’s Neptune squares Roger’s Jupiter, which gives him the capacity to sometimes confuse Roger and underestimate Andy; finally, Roger’s Mars sextiles Andy’s Ascendant, and invigorates Andy’s game. Andy raises his game to match the great player.

    1. Thanks for posting this. I find the astrology described for Gasquet rather flaky and I am fed up of astrologers using Chiron when all they have to say about it is ‘a time of healing’! Plus, I disagree with Federer and Pluto opposite his Mars – he crashed out of the Aus Open when it was exact earlier this year. So no, he hasn’t overcome it, it’s simply that it’s not as strong right now. Having said that I agree with some of the astrology for Djokovic and Murray. They’re my two to go through. Looking forward to the tennis. best, Sally

Solo debera cuidarse tal vez de algun jugador que no tengamos en carpeta (como paso con Wawrinka).

God please give me some sunshine, give me some rain, give me another chance to see federer defeat the top seed once again.

    1. Rohit,

Be happy man, Roger is in the final of Wimbledon again, he needs to upper his game against Cocky Serb. Dream of Roger winning Wimbledon again.

Wimbledon is a Grand Slam with best of five, boy!

Federer has also astrological support and moreover it’s still Federer vs. Murray and not Mars vs. Pluto on the court. Stars seem to have great influence, but it’s not everything, dude!

    2. Alex, why do you shout astrology is wrong! It’s not astrology that’s wrong, it’s our interpretation of the astrology that might be wrong. As above, so below. What happens in the heavens is mirrored on earth – that’s astrology. We are mere messengers trying to understand what the planets say. Having said that, go Federer! I am so happy, you can’t believe it. He is my favourite all-time player and I would love, love, love him to win another Grand Slam and most especially an 8th Wimbledon. It will be a big ask for sure as Djokovic is one mean player and the astrology favours a Gemini. Yet… dare we say Jupiter remains in Leo, the protector of the heavens, is he giving Federer one last shout? I hope so. I will be gripped to the telly on Sunday for sure. Can’t wait! best, Sally

  87. Sally,

The way I see this match playing out, it looks like Federer is the one with the astrological support. He’s playing as Serverer 2015 for most of the set, and then, almost magically, he’s morphing into TMF: Federer 2005/2006 at the end of the sets. Are you sure Federer doesn’t have good stars? Because I remember you saying Cilic didn’t have good stars at the U.S. Open last year and yet he ended up the winner. Let us know what you think.

    1. I agree that Federer is playing out of his socks. The astrology that is powerful for Federer is that Jupiter is still in Leo. No, it doesn’t connect with his own Leo planets but it’s there until mid-August 2015. Listen, I now want the Fed to beat Djokovic and I will be rooting for him on Sunday. I am torn now with the symbolism of the original chart tournament that suggested the favourite will win (well, we do have the no. 1 and the no. 2 seed in the final), it will favour the Geminis – so Djokovic, although Federer has a Gemini Midheaven (not so impressive as Djokovic Sun/Mercury Gemini) and it will bring out the best in tennis, Mercury in Gemini. Who’s the best ever tennis player? In my mind, it’s Federer and he’s playing out of his socks! OK, I’m interpreting the astrology free fall now but let’s wait and see what happens on Sunday. Who do you want to win? Let me know. best, Sally

      1. Sally,

I’m rooting for Fed of course!! I grew up watching Fed and for him to win 12 years after his first Wimbledon would be really symbolic. I always felt the similarities between him and his idol Sampras. Pete won his first grand slam at the U.S. open in 1990 and his last at U.S. open 2002. Fed won his first at Wimbledon 2003…is his last going to be at Wimbledon 2015? I sure hope so.

An interesting twist is that rain is in the forecast on Sunday, so the roof may be used. Again, advantage Federer, if you remember their 2012 semi under the roof. Fingers crossed 🙂

        1. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if Roger could make it 8 Wimbledon titles! My heart will be with Roger for sure. best, Sally

      2. Sally,

        You said this:

The Moon is in Sagittarius as the tournament begins and its next aspects are challenging ones, a square to Neptune followed by an opposition to Mercury. The ruler of the Ascendant on the Midheaven is a good case for the favourite to win the tournament but the Moon’s aspects question that statement.

Everyone said taht Djokovic is the favourite but you said that moon question it.

        1. Astrologically I still think Djokovic will win. I think Mercury conjunct the Midheaven in Gemini shows the favourite and Djokovic is a Gemini. I will be rooting for Roger though. I’d love him to win – he was awesome today against Andy. best, Sally

Maybe like horary predicted the winner will be a Leo player. Roger is the only Leo left in the tournament.

    1. hi Alex, well, I did mention that a few replies back that perhaps your prediction was showing a Leo winner – that’s Roger. I so want him to win now. I love Roger and if he plays like he did today against Andy, he could beat Novak. He was awesome! Maybe he refuses to let go of the fact that Jupiter is still in Leo (and won’t be again for another 12 years) and he’s not going to let this on go. Roar the lion. Again my head says Djokovic, now my heart is firmly with Federer! best, Sally

  89. According to horary, Djokovic will win.

    http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8820

So, Djokovic and Federer will fight in final.

I cast the chart for the moment I understood your question:
    10 Jul 2015 7:22pm Beograd, Srbija ASC=3Cap33

Now I will use Frawley method for this type of the question: “Look for the planet that fisrt aspect lord 10, or, failing that, has immediate conjunction with the MC”. Here that is Mercury. As Mercury represent younger and punser person my pick is Djokovic!

This makes all the doom and gloom predictions of juan cruz, franzua dubal and mente perfect look rather silly.

    1. Hi Alex,

That person who predicted that Simon or Gasquet should win Wimbledon are wrong

We see who is the winner on Sunday.

      Kind Regards

    2. I do want to take another look at the chart for the final but astrologically it fits for Djokovic to lift the title. However… I am going to be rooting for Federer. Can’t wait – should be epic! best, Sally

    1. Alex,

They were right about RG, that Djokovic would not win there, they said that from May to May that Nole will not HOLD on to any of his trophies.

We see if Maxi and Juan are right about Nole not DEFENDING HIS CROWN.

      Kind Regards

  92. Sally why are you changing? Why don’t you like your original interpretation? Why don’t you trust your astrology?
It was Novak and Andy and now? Wow.

    1. Hello dear, my astrological prediction is still for Djokovic to lift the title and that was always one of my two predictions, so what’s with the ‘wow’? Andy’s out – yes, I got that wrong but he had a good tournament and his popularity is strong, hence his astrology. Personally, I would like to see Roger win his 8th Wimbledon title and I hope he can defy the astrological prediction. Can’t wait for the final. best, Sally

  93. Lets go for it Federer 🙂 let the sky be his limit. If he won to the one with the best astrology for the tournament (murray) i hope he does shine like he did today… He is just amazing to watch!

  94. Lets go for it Federer 🙂 let the sky be his limit. If he won to the one with the best astrology for the tournament (murray) i hope he does shine like he did today… He is just amazing to watch!

  95. I tend to focus a lot on secondary progressions.

Roger’s progressed Midheaven is now within strong range of the square to his Jupiter. Though squares can be difficult, I’ve read that a square involving Jupiter the “benefic” can express well. And the progressed Midheaven is a career factor.

During last year’s Wimbledon, Roger’s progressed Midheaven was square his Saturn. He was defeated in the final. Saturn can bring difficulties, and some have suggested Roger was dealing with back problems.

It will be interesting to see if the progressed Midheaven square to Jupiter can bring Roger success in the final, or whether it will show more work needs to be done, or whether it expresses as going for too much to achieve. I suppose the factor could express in any of these ways.

    1. Interesting. Thank you. I will have a quick look again before Sunday to check out the astrology for both Novak and Roger. best, Sally

      1. Hi Sally,

Can Roger over ride those transits? I have noticed that Novak Solar Return is not good from May to May. Australian Open was fine because Novak Solar Return was good, when the RG came it changed to not so good.

        Kind Regards

  96. Wimbledon is as British as strawberries and cream and June 23 2014 sees the start of this much-adored two week event in the UK calendar. One of four Grand Slam events in the tennis schedule, this is the one that most tennis players would love to win and over the last 10 years, four men have dominated the event: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and the British no. 1, Andy Murray.

All four men have competed in at least two Wimbledon finals in the last 10 years and one of those men, Roger Federer, equals the record for the most Wimbledon titles. He’s lifted the trophy 7 times since 2003. Rafael Nadal has won twice in 2008 and 2010 and Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have both lifted the Wimbledon trophy once, Djokovic in 2011 and Murray in 2013.

The Astrology of the Major Players
Here’s the birth data for the top four who are likely to be the top four seeds at Wimbledon 2014:

    – Andy Murray, born May 15 1987, Glasgow, UK 2:10pm
    – Novak Djokovic, born May 22 1987, Belgrade, Serbia, 11:25pm
    – Rafael Nadal, born June 3 1986, Manacor, Spain, 6:20 pm
    – Roger Federer, born August 8 1981, Basel, Switzerland, 8:40am

Can astrology reveal why these four players have dominated this esteemed sporting event and go one step further and help predict who’s going to win the title? Here are some key astrological factors which show that winning is a mix of natal potential plus good timing.

    Sun Sign
Gemini is the sign of the tennis player and two of the top four tennis superstars who have excelled in recent years are Sun Gemini. In fact, this pair faced each other yet again in the final of the French Open 2014 which took place on June 8 2014. They are Rafael Nadal (b. June 3 1986) and Novak Djokovic (b. May 22 1987). Being a Sun sign Gemini can definitely help your tennis success.

    Mercury Sign
Mercury is the astrological planet that rules Gemini and in mythology Mercury was the fleet-footed God. A quick-moving planet, it’s helpful to have Mercury strong in your chart if you want to be a top tennis player. Out of the top four tennis players, three of them have Mercury in Gemini in their natal chart, the perfect placing for enhanced agility and swift movement. They are Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

If you’re wondering why Roger Federer, 7 times Wimbledon champion, is not in this list, he also has a strong Mercury in his natal chart. His Mercury is conjunct his Sun in Leo emphasizing this key planet and promising good eye-hand coordination, another vital skill of the tennis player.

    Midheaven
The Midheaven represents the success point of the natal chart and it’s not surprising to find that two of the four, Roger Federer and Andy Murray, have Gemini on the Midheaven, the sign associated with tennis. When key planets are conjunct the Midheaven by transit and move through the 10th house which rules career and vocation (see the 12 houses in astrology), you can start to predict who’s going to do well and who may struggle depending on the planet involved.

For example, in July 2012 Roger Federer beat Andy Murray in the Wimbledon final when lucky Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, was almost exactly conjunct their mutual Gemini Midheavens (Federer’s MC at 6 Gemini; Murray’s MC at 7 Gemini). Jupiter reached Federer’s Midheaven first and he was crowned champion. See where Jupiter is in your chart!

Conversely Novak Djokovic has struggled to win a major tennis tournament since Saturn, the planet that represents obstacles and frustration, entered Scorpio in October 2012. and Scorpio is the sign on his Midheaven. Djokovic has been runner up four times in Grand Slam events since late 2012 and only won once at the Australian Open in January 2013. Reaching a final is a great achievement but losing in a final must be a huge disappointment.

    The Wimbledon Chart
A quick way to look at what the planets are doing and to start working with astrological prediction is to draw up two charts, one for the start of the Championship and one for the date and time of the final.

    Here’s the relevant data:
Wimbledon Championship, June 23 2014, 11:30 am, Wimbledon, UK
Wimbledon Men’s Final, July 6 2014, 2:00 pm, Wimbledon, UK

The chart that symbolizes the start of the Wimbledon tennis tournament has Virgo on the Ascendant which makes Mercury its ruling planet. Mercury is strong in Gemini but retrograde, i.e. moving backward rather than forward. Mercury retrograde themes can be tricky but also connect with the past. Will this be returning champion, Andy Murray, making his comeback and winning Wimbledon for the second successive year?

Certainly, the ruling planet of the Wimbledon chart seems to favour Murray as Mercury at 26 Gemini is conjunct Murray’s natal Mars at 26 Gemini. Plus Mercury turns direct on July 1 2014 and on the day of the final it’s almost back at the same point in the heavens at 25 Gemini. A strong Mars delivers the athletic prowess and fighting spirit vital for a winning performance and this could make the difference for Murray as his Mars is emphasized throughout the tournament. He will need the luck of the Gods on his side as he’s had a tough year since winning Wimbledon 2013 due to surgery on his back and splitting with his coach Ivan Lendl.

One tennis player that you can never count out is Rafael Nadal who soundly defeated Murray in the semi-finals at the French Open in June 2014. Nadal’s versatile Mercury is also at 26 Gemini so this is good news for Nadal as he begins Wimbledon with a Mercury Return albeit retrograde and you would expect him to play well with his tennis-playing planet Mercury prominent. Nadal has one of the most attacking styles in tennis shown by his ruling planet Mars which is exalted and powerful in the sign of Capricorn but grass isn’t his favourite court surface and he plays best on clay.

Djokovic doesn’t have any major astrology that links to his natal chart from the Wimbledon championship and Wimbledon final charts, and with Saturn remaining close to his Midheaven, this suggests it will be an uphill struggle for him to lift the trophy this year. There is a glimmer of hope astrologically, however, as Jupiter, the success planet, is closely conjunct the Midheaven on the Wimbledon final chart and traditionally this means the favourite will win.

Roger Federer is the oldest man of the four, age 32, and in the modern era of tennis no-one has won Wimbledon after the age of 31. There’s no doubt that Federer has been the best player of all of them having won more titles. In fact, he is probably the most gifted and talented player the world has ever seen and like all Leos he knows how to win. Lucky transits are lacking for Federer this Wimbledon although the angles of the Wimbledon chart mirror the angles in Federer’s natal chart as both charts share a Virgo Ascendant and a Gemini Midheaven. This may not be enough, however, to propel him to his 8th Wimbledon title.

To sum up, Mercury retrograde could play tricks on Murray and Nadal although you expect them to be there or thereabouts and it will be interesting to see whether Djokovic can overcome Saturn close to his Midheaven during Wimbledon. With Jupiter conjunct the Wimbledon final chart, the stars in the sky predict that the ‘favourite’ or no. 1 seed will lift the highly-coveted Wimbledon trophy.

  97. Hi Sally and everyone

This is said on Argentine Website about Djokovic for the rest of the remaining slams. Novak is going through his new Solar return which runs from May to May.

Here is what they said -if it has been posted before sorry

Sun-Saturn opposition solar revolution is a very bad look for a “solar” figure like him (No. 1 in the world)

And it is confirmed that Venus is not in good standing will not (does not make you look or natal sun or Jupiter)

It will be a year of “can not keep crowns” over the loss of top ranking.

While Jupiter at the time of the US Open will be in Virgo making her radical Venus trine with that rev.solar be difficult for a transit help him too.

    1. Patrick Rudolf

Remember Sally repeating many times that Djokovic plays very well with Saturn aspects (due to his Capricorn AC if I remember right).

Djoker has proved Grand Slam for Grand Slam that he’s still the one to beat while astrology might have been against him sometime. He’s just so good.

    2. It’s interesting how the Argentines use the Solar Returns to predict. For me, it’s always a back up to the actual astrology, i.e. the transits/progressions. If the return chart confirms what you’re seeing in the natal chart, then it’s said to be a testimony to your prediction. best, Sally

  99. Hi Sally, this is all very interesting stuff. Thank you for your fascinating input. It is making me want to learn more about astrology.

    1. 🙂 You’re welcome. I might have to start an astrology course online. I’m sure there are a lot of people who would want to learn to predict using the planets. best, Sally

    1. Alex, thanks for posting both of these. I’m not quite sure of the astrology of either of them to be honest, but they both seem fairly confident 🙂 best, Sally

  100. Hi Alex

There is a conversation with Maxi and Juan. I do not understand what they are talking about.

    Do you?

I do hope that Roger wins this!

He deserves it, Roger the best!

    Kind Regards

  101. Hopefully Roger will win his 8th Wimbledon title on Sunday. Just loving the way he is playing specially against Murray he played like a champion. Go Roger, trophy is all yours now Wish you the best!!!

  102. Hi Sally and all

This is Lana prediction of the Final – she thinks that Nole got better transits but she does not work with Solar Returns.

She is going against Astrology of what she said she going for Roger – why he deserves it.

Lana, hasn’t been right with some of her predictions. I am hoping she is wrong about Nole.

    Men’s Final
    Federer vs Djokovic
Roger Federer: “The Pluto opposition to his Mars becomes exact around 19th July, after Wimbledon, and he may need extra rest at that time. Note that the Pluto opposition has not hampered him too much over the last year.”
Novak Djokovic: “The very constructive trine of Saturn to his natal Moon peaks on Friday 10th July around the semi-finals”
Chemistry: Novak’s Sun sextiles Roger’s North Node, so Roger is gracious towards Novak, but holds the upper hand karmically. Novak’s Mercury squares Roger’s Venus, so in a specific interaction Novak will come from the mind, and Roger the heart. And Novak’s Neptune squares Roger’s Jupiter, so Novak can expand his consciousness to gain the upper hand, while Roger’s luck can sometimes be derailed by confusion in their interaction.
Again, Novak’s planetary transits are better than Roger’s tomorrow. But if your information is correct about Novak’s Solar Return, specifically that it highlights Saturn opposite his Sun, then that may be the reason if he loses. I tend to see planetary transits as more important than the influence of the Solar Return. But as I say, Roger and Serena have the X-Factor which seems to override all planetary influences. Serena has the winning planetary transit this year to boot.
I don’t see Djokovic as a “cocky serb” – I see him as someone who has honed their athletic abilities and talents to their peak of efficiency.
    The Guardian wrote this morning:
“When Djokovic beat Federer to win his second title here 12 months ago, he was the villain of the crowd and he is ready for the same treatment again.”
But if extra points were awarded for beautiful play, gracefulness and entertainment, Federer would scoop the prize. In addition he has worldwide popularity. If good will and heart energy makes a difference to the outcome, then again he would scoop the prize. I have to go against the Astrology (not for the first time) and go for Federer to win. I just think it would be lovely for him, at the grand old age of 33, to extend his record.
    Love
    Lana

    1. Thanks for posting this. Interesting to read. I am going to add my own comment once I’ve read all the ones flooding in yesterday/today but like Lana, I don’t prioritise the Solar Return which is the one factor going against a Djokovic win. I also don’t see him as a ‘cocky serb’, I think he’s really sweet actually. I just posted a lovely video of him when he invited the ball boy holding an umbrella to sit next to him and he took the umbrella to hold 🙂 best, Sally

  104. Hiya Everyone

If anyone can make sense what these two are saying- I used Bing translator to get the English.

This is from Maxi from Argentine Website.
Moon ruler of the MC apply to Venus ruler of the ASC.
Roger is Saturnino by nature and this NN near radical Saturn. With existing RS mercury (governs the angles of your chart) in partil conjunction leonino Sun.
    I like Roger to Wimbledon
    From Juan -Argentine Website
At the time, I considered it as the best of all the debuts by what you said at the beginning. But I discarded the master by his quadrature Saturno-Sol in the RS.
It happens that Djokovic looks the same in the RS that has just begun (and already deprived Roland Garros).
Did you see the RL’s force of both Maxi? Roger mercury residing in the lunar X in Sextile to natal Mercurio-Sol but Sun Moon squaring partil natal Saturn. And Djokovic with the MC falling on natal Asc and lunar Venus in the MC but in quadrature to Saturn moon. Both have a “but” big, but one of the two will win lol. I prefer not to say anything.
    Maxi reply
Piori me gusta mas Roger to have angular Mercury’s. Until that point the lunar Sun can hurt you bad with your Saturn because the greatest Astro does not apply any angle and Saturn is not almuten of their Nativity.
We will have to see later step of opposing Neptune to the natal ASC.
Nole paints more screwed up by the tense Venus Saturn and because the lunar ruler is Mars this fallen and still combusto.
In addition the RS of Nole Sun Saturn EPO does not look good. It is an aspect that denotes lack of confidence in one’s self, fear, fear. And logically, personal frustrations as the Sun the individuality, the essence of the person.
    Juan reply –
Hopefully hopefully hopefully. It strikes me the Saturn Sunday, as in these days, in partil Trigon to the natal Moon of Djokovic.
    UF end awaits us

    Kind Regards

  105. The problem is with the way “favorite” has been interpreted by various people. For me it represents the true favorite, the world favorite, the fans favorite, not the “bookies favorite”. The “favorite” is no doubt referring to Roger Federer. With Jupiter so well placed for Roger in his Sun sign, I believe the astrology is simple, and Roger’s success will continue. Federer should win rather easily tomorrow, 3 or 4 sets tops.

Interestingly enough, as the final approaches, the odds are dropping on Federer, no doubt on the strength of his big win over Andy of the Murray clan. It is now very close. Could be pretty even by game time.

    Regards,
    Johnny C.

    1. hi Johnny, thanks for this and it’s something that I did consider too with Federer playing so well. The crowd love him and I’m sure he’ll be their favourite tomorrow to win. Also everyone’s rooting for him to win one more Grand Slam to give him the record of 8 Wimbledon wins. Plus, Jupiter is still in Leo and some astrologers will take that as a win for the Leo – as you say, simple astrology. best, Sally

  107. Hi Sally, all,

Sorry for the extra post, but I forgot to add that Venus is also in Federer’s sun sign Leo. I think it was conjunct Jupiter at start of July and trine to Uranus, promoting original and inventive ideas, as well as unexpected good fortune and breakthroughs.

I believe this fortune and harmony should last through July, until sometime in early August when things might not go so well in the next conjunct of the two brightest planets in the heavens.

    Regards,
    Johnny C.

  108. Roger’s Fan

Both Djokovic and Federer have bad solar returns.

Djokovic has a worse lunar return than Federer.

Federer has a better Wimbledon 2015 debut chart than Djokovic.

Both Djokovic and Federer have bad solar returns.

Federer has a better Wimbledon 2015 debut chart than Djokovic.

  110. The Moon is in Sagittarius as the tournament begins and its next aspects are challenging ones, a square to Neptune followed by an opposition to Mercury.

Could a square to Neptune mean rain in the final? Neptune meaning water?

Could an opposition to Mercury mean the younger player doesn’t win the final? Mercury meaning a younger person? Moon opposite the younger player?

    1. All possible, Alex, but speculative. Again I wouldn’t prioritise the lunar (Moon) aspects over other astrology but thank you. Always interesting to read new interpretations. best, Sally

  111. Hiya Alex

The forecast said that it is going to rain tomorrow!

I am confused about opposition to Mercury etc

Who do you think got better astrology for the final tomorrow?

    Thank you for telling me

    Kind regards

    1. It probably won’t rain tomorrow during the match looking at the forecast. Even if it does, they have the roof now. best, Sally

  112. Tomorrow’s final:
Djokovic – you have to like the Mercury Gemini cnj MC of the chart of tournament for the favourite, no. 1 seed, winning. Djokovic is a Sun Gemini and his natal Mercury is at 18 Gemini and very close to the chart Mercury at 15 Gemini.
During the tournament, Pluto has been in close sextile to his MC, career point of the chart (based on an 11:25pm birth time). This gives him steely determination to win.
In his Solar Return May 2015, Sun Gemini is the career planet in close opposition to Saturn. Yet, I still think Saturn is Djokovic’ planet so does this mean no Grand Slam wins as some astrologers are predicting? Plus Jupiter is conjunct the Midheaven of his Solar Return chart which looks glorious for him (again, the 11:25 pm time).
Federer – Pluto is reversing to oppose his Mars for the second time on July 19th. The first opposition coincided with him going out of the Australian Open earlier this year. It’s coming soon, not quite yet but he might be feeling it.
However, he’s had Jupiter sextile both his natal Pluto & Neptune during the tournament – and he’s playing like a dream.
n.b. one thing I didn’t see when writing my first predictions is that his Ascendant is progressed cnj Jupiter, exact in September 2015, so active now – nice. Plus his Solar Return for August 2015 looks amazing. I don’t think he’s going anywhere fast…
The Final chart: The favourite is represented by a glorious Venus in Leo conjunct Jupiter as the Ascendant is Libra. The second favourite is represented by Mars in Cancer in its sign of fall combust the Sun. So the match prediction is clear – the favourite will win.
Yet… who is the favourite? Officially, it’s Djokovic as the no. 1 seed but I have been hearing that the odds are drawing much closer since Federer’s impressive victory over Murray. Federer will undoubtedly be the favourite with the crowd who would love him to win a record-breaking 8th Wimbledon title.
One astrologer recently wrote that with Jupiter still in Leo, it favours the Leo, Roger Federer. Simple astrology but sometimes surprisingly effective.
Intriguingly in the chart for the final, the Moon is in Gemini (Djokovic) but the Midheaven & success point is Leo (Federer).
Conclusion: As you can probably tell, I am not convinced who will win. If you go with both charts for the tournament and the final, it would be Djokovic. Yet, I have a feeling that Roger Federer might produce something amazing tomorrow and as much as I do love Djokovic, I would love for Roger Federer to win. He doesn’t have too many more chances and he is playing superb tennis. I’ll be rooting for him to win.

      Hi Sally,

thank you very much again for another exciting astrological Cta d Slam!! Learning a lot from your posts ☺

Regarding your final prediction from above I would like to ask, if Djokovic’s Saturn near building an opposite to his sun in his birth chart could be the reason that he plays quite well with Saturn aspects as he does around the time of his Solar return/his birthday of this year – with full conjunction of his Sun and Saturn?

Regarding Roger’s ascendant Virgo and Jupiter entering Virgo in August, do you think that Federer has a bigger astrological support by that? Further, will Virgo players like Serena Williams or Sabine Lisicki gain a bigger lift through Jupiter for New York?

Thanks a lot for your opinion!

      Kind regards,
      Patrick

      1. Patrick Rudolf

I’m sorry, Sally! Just see that Serena is a Libra rather than a Virgo. So I would like to ask for Sabine Lisicki and Tomas Berdych as both Virgo players.

        Thanks a lot!!

      2. hi Patrick. Interesting questions. Saturn is directly in opposition to Djokovic’ Sun in early January 2015, late May 2015 and early October 2015. Saturn oppositions tend to be debilitating even if you are a Saturn type so it’s interesting that it’s not affected his tennis playing that greatly. He’s won two Grand Slams so far this year. The Solar Return is a symbolic chart which gives you your theme for the year ahead and the opposition is exact in that. That was why some astrologers predicted he wouldn’t win any Grand Slams beginning May 2015 which hasn’t been the case.
Yes, Jupiter in Virgo will go over Roger’s Ascendant which is exact in early October 2015. It also conjuncts his Venus in Virgo in early November 2015 and again twice next year. This is all lovely but it’s not necessarily linked to his career. Venus rules money in his chart and foreign connections, education and publishing – a new home abroad perhaps, an autobiography? The 1st house is your physical body and Jupiter here should boost his popularity but he’s already super popular. We shall see. I’m not sure that it will necessarily be a boost to his tennis.
It should help the other Virgo players as Jupiter goes over their Sun and that’s more powerful for their career than the Ascendant point. Yes, you’re right that Serena is a Libran as you pointed out in your next comment.
        Thanks. best, Sally

        1. Patrick Rudolf

Thank you yery much for your interesting and detailed answer Sally! I appreciate your efforts answering questions with so much passion. And I am already looking forward to the US Open!

          Have a nice summer!

          Kind regards,

  113. Hi Sally and all

This is from FranzuaDubal on Argentine Website said this:

I join and pointed to the legend Federer as Wimbledon champion tomorrow. The rematch of last year!

Sunday morning the planet Venus comes close to a head with the square Saturn, and we know the importance of this star in the chart of Novak Djokovic. In addition to testimony before JC named in the Serbian RL.

I tried to analyze the eventual letter of the party, about 14:10 pm.

A Djokovic give the house I, being the favorite, world No. 1 and defending champion. Your ruler Venus is wrong at saying, is going to the square to Saturn. If we take almuten house, this would be Saturn which also has great strength for his retro condition.

House VII Federer would in this case, the challenger seeking the crown. Mars and Sun are intercepted and cadent, but something of level for me, is that the moon touches the anstiscio the Sun by conjunction.

    Kind Regards

  115. Nice analysis Sally, i’m going for Djokovic- I think this is his time. Serena won the women’s final and like Djokovic she had a scare but won and made it to the final. So there’s a chance for the favourite to win the tournament. I thought federer played supremely against Murray, but Murray also didn’t show up mentally. I don’t think this will be the case with Djokovic. Federer will have to play like he did and then some to beat Djokovic but if anyone can Federer can.

    1. Thanks, Shelley. It was interesting how different Federer’s game was against Djokovic to Murray. He was the one making more unforced errors. I felt sorry for him but pleased for Novak. best, Sally

  116. Hola Sally!

Y Federer = retador = Casa VII.

Pero otra opcion es esperar a ver quien empieza sacando = Casa I. Y el receptor del saque = Casa VII.

Tambien tenemos la opcion de asignar Casa I = Favorito. Casa VII = no favorito. Y en las casas de apuestas el favorito está siendo Djokovic.

    No voy a predecir.

Solo haré muchas fuerzas desde Argentina por Roger!! Mañana los millones de fanaticos de Federer unamos fuerzas y apoyemos al Maestro!! Allez Roger!! Chum jetze!! #BEL18VE

    Saludos

  117. Dear Sally,

    This is what Juan said:

    Hello Sally!

The letter from the end (14: 10am London, 26th Asc Libra) is most likely to House VII.
Because of the Rising -regente Venus is separating from Jupiter and Venus is square to Saturn -almuten of I-.

Instead VII has sextile Mars PF but it is essential that the Moon applies to antiscio del Sol -almuten of the VII.

But which player will be the House VII?

Djokovic could be the house I = defending champion. And Federer = challenger = House VII.

But another option is to wait to see who starts pulling = House I. And the kick receiver = House VII.

We also have the option to assign House I = Favorite. VII = home underdog. And betting favorite is being Djokovic.

    I will not predict.

I’ll only make many forces from Argentina by Roger !! Tomorrow the millions of fans of Federer join forces and we support the Master !! Allez Roger !! Chum Jetze !! # BEL18VE

    greetings

Juan, we are missing you on RF.com, I was looking forward to your posts.

    1. Sad, wasn’t it, Lisa. He didn’t play half as well as he did against Murray. Next time? We’ll all be looking at the astrology fervently. best, Sally

  119. Sally

Your predictions about Novak is coming true. But you predicted federer for last year’s U.S. Open and nadal for this year’s French open. They went wrong.
Is there anything missing about their astrology?

    1. Not really. I think with Nadal we were using the wrong birth time as that was stunning astrology (Jupiter exactly conjunct Midheaven) but the wrong chart. Federer has had an awesome year and has admitted that he’s playing some of his best tennis. So he really is doing nothing wrong. He’s the no. 2 seed and deservedly so, he’s reached another Wimbledon final, and he’s played some sensational tennis. The stars didn’t fall right for him and I know he couldn’t lift the Wimbledon trophy but he’s got to be pleased with the way he’s been playing, if not in the final, then a lot of the time this past year. As long as his form continues, he’ll continue to wow us. best, Sally

  120. Hi Sally

You was right about Novak – the stars was in his favour.

When will Roger ever going to win his 18th GS. Serena is so so lucky with weak women’s.

    Sad for Roger

    1. Serena is amazing! Wow. Sensational woman and yes, you’re right, no-one really to match her strength and ability. Sad for Roger. I don’t know is the answer to your question but he’s playing awesome tennis (apart from the final, sadly, or at least not all of it). best, Sally

  121. Astrology apart, I will be surprised if Roger wins another major as I see him, he cannot sustain his play mentally and physically over 5 sets and he gets anxious to finish points quickly against top players and makes lot of errors.

    1. You might be right. If he could play the way he played against Murray in the semi-finals every match, then I’d disagree. We shall see… best, Sally

  122. Sally, your predictions were excellent, once again!

Thanks for giving us this delightful forum for discussing astrology and tennis. It really is a treat for all of us, since we so enjoy both subjects!

I was thinking about transiting Mercury in today’s match. It was within range of the opposition to Djokovic’s Neptune, a difficult factor for strategy and execution. But it was not all that close to exact, and we saw little if any of its effects.

However, transiting Mercury was making the EXACT square to Roger’s Jupiter. He did make some crucial errors that, had he not missed a shot or two, could have brought a different match with a different result.

The more I observe in the astrology of tennis, the more I’m seeing of exact transits having great significance. At least that’s how it seems to me.

    1. Thanks Astrotennis. I’m not sure how much of a factor the minor transits have in a match, like Mercury, for example. But it’s definitely worth noting. I do like using the symbolism of the chart of the tournament and that pointed clearly to Djokovic. Looking forward to the US Open. best, Sally

  123. Dear Sally,

Will Roger Astrology ever going to get better for the second half of the year and next year?

You said that Roger’s Solar return is very good in August- what does that mean?

    Kind Regards

    1. hi, I did like Roger’s Solar Return for 2015. It’s a chart that you draw up for the exact time of your birthday each year. As you read in the comments section here, a lot of the Argentine astrologers use it to predict. I tend to think of it as a secondary testimony to the current astrology so it’s not as important for me as what’s happening in transits and progressions. I’ll look at it more when it’s time for the US Open. I don’t know to be fair with Federer. I did notice that when he won his first Wimbledon in July 2003, Jupiter was in Leo and conjunct his Sun/Mercury conjunction. It’s now 12 years later and he’s experienced the same transit this year although this time it didn’t fall exactly during a tournament. That could mean his best chances to win another Grand Slam have been and gone but it does depend on the rest of his chart. Mercury is his career planet though, so you’d want to see good transits to that planet in particular. Enjoy his tennis – he is an awesome player 🙂 best, Sally

    1. General questions are always too tricky to answer directly, Lisa, as I don’t believe astrology works in such a linear fashion. It’s a symbolic art so it works best in context, i.e. when you’re asking it to reveal itself and you can only really do that one event at a time, which means using the tournament charts to predict or a similar technique which I have been doing. I am thinking of writing a blog about Serena Williams as her astrology is intriguing. That might help! best, Sally

  124. Great going Sally. You were spot on! I was at Centre court yesterday and praying for Federer to win. If only he had taken his chances in the 1st set things may have been different and his first serves not disserted him at crucial moments. I hope he can win the US Open which starts on August 31st @ 11.00 Eastern standard time.

    1. Thank you and lucky you, Anand! Must have been awesome on Centre Court. Thanks for the info. re. the US Open. I’ll write about it nearer the time. best, Sally

  125. Hi Sally,

Great to see your prediction come true! But as a Fed fan I’m crestfallen!

    However, that’s tennis for us.

It was definitely a great day for the Geminis…Novak Djokovic and Leander Paes (born 17th June) won their titles.

    Stupid Jupiter! Useless planet 😛

It only benefited Sumit Nagal (born Aug 14th), another Indian who claimed Wimbledon glory!

What did poor Roger do ? 🙂

    1. Thanking you. Interesting info. about the other Geminis. Poor Jupiter, don’t blame him. He’s been blessing our Roger this year and he has played some awesome tennis which you can’t dismiss. It’s just moving away from his key planets now so probably not strong enough to help him clinch the title. best, Sally

  126. hi sally your prediction of djokovic winning wimbledon is spot on.congratulations. my prediction that you will get your prediction for wimbledon correct is also correct.waiting for usopen best of luck.

  127. Congrats Sally.

    You were spot on.

unfortunately, the Argentine astrologers have jumped the shark, they used to be good at predicting but not anymore.

I will continue reading your blog in the future, you are a star, sally.

    1. Hi Alex

They were right about certain things but Astrology is not easy to predict the outcome. We see what Sally have to say for USO. I am sure it will be interesting.

      Kind Regards

    2. Predicting isn’t easy and my experience is that it goes in waves. You have a run of accurate predictions and then the astrology eludes you and then you’re back on again. The Argentine astrologers will be back for sure – they’re using Solar Returns a lot to predict so their results can help you decide whether it’s a technique you want to use. best, Thank you for calling me a star 🙂 best, Sally

  129. Okay I need to get these planets straight: so Jupiter is good, is Mecury good? and Saturn is bad. This astrology is based on planetary positions in the sky currently right?

    1. hi Lisa, traditionally Jupiter is a positive influence, Saturn is a negative influence but there are always other factors to take into account, i.e. which sign they’re in, whether one person is more aligned to Jupiter/Saturn influences, etc. Mercury is the communication planet but also dexterity, nimbleness so Mercury is often strong for tennis players. The astrology I use to predict is based on current planetary positions in the sky – correct. This means you’re looking at how where the planets are now triggers where the planets were when each individual player was born. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  131. Well done Sally, once again you’ve given us a master class in astrology. I actually thought like you that Murray might take the title although for me I had hoped it would be Djokovic. But once Murray lost I knew Djokovic would win as you rightly pointed out that the astrology picked the favourite to win. You’re opening astrology to people who have never thought about these things before. So bravo to you Sally and thank you for all of your hard work. Ciao for now until the U.S. Open.

    1. Aah, Shelley, thank you. Look forward to catching up with you at the US Open 🙂 Sending best wishes, Sally

  133. Sally, In future I think you should concentrate more on the tournament chart like you did this time to predict the winner. For ex: no matter how stars align for Nadal, it doesn’t mean he would win it if he plays bad.

French open was a good example too, when a non-favorite won the slam.

    Good one this time.

    1. hi, thanks for your comment. Yes, I agree. Both with the French Open and Wimbledon, the chart of the tournament described the winner perfectly. It doesn’t always work that way which is why you can’t rely on it alone but it’s always an important marker for me which is why I use it. best, Sally

  135. If you focus on the tournament forecast, how do you know if it’s for men’s side or the women’s side? How do you know?

    1. You don’t know, Lisa, although this time both favourites won as per the chart so the chart worked for both. This is where astrological symbolism can be tricky to explain to people. You are effectively using the chart to ask your own question. You can do that at any moment of time. So it’s the question that’s important and the astrology ‘answers’ your question. best, Sally

  136. dear sally i thought that andy murray will win his semis against djokovic in the french open and also his semis against federer in wimbledon. i thought he had good enough astrology to do that. but i was wrong. can you tell me why andy did not do better than he did. waiting to hear from you.

    1. Fate v. free will, James, as simple as that. The stars might be aligned but you have to take your chances. There was something in Andy that stopped him this time. Mentally he didn’t seem to be strong enough and against Federer I’m not surprised. He played the best match I’ve seen him play in ages. Hope that helps. best, Sally

      1. thanks sally i think based on his birth chart andy is not strong enough mentally and for him to win against the top players not only the stars should be aligned for him but also badly aligned for his opponents.

  138. Am really looking forward to the U.S open as I have the luck of being invited to it. Am wondering whether venus retrograde will have a bearing on the results. I know for tennis you look at mercury andmaybe I’m wrong but venus seems to have something to do with Federer. His grace, seemingly easy way of playing( which we all know is’nt easy at all) ,charm, and all positive things. I still do a chart for a match for the actual time they pick up their racquets. This may be absurd but the results have been right for me 3 times. And I hate to ask again Sally but can you have a look at Dustin Brown’s chart? He seems so talented and am wondering how far he’ll go. Thanks.

    1. Ooh exciting, Jackie. You can give us a blow-by-blow account of all the action at the US Open. Yes, Venus will be retrograde as the US Open starts so it will be interesting to see how this plays out with the tennis. In fact, it’s very close to Federer’s Sun/Mercury conjunction in Leo at the end of August and when it turns direct on September 6th. So this will be important for the tennis. How’s it going to play out? I’m not entirely sure as it is more grace, beauty, love than the game of tennis. We shall see. Yes, I shall check out Dustin Brown for you when I write up the US Open but I don’t have a time of birth so limited information. Take care. best, Sally

    Hi Sally,

studying your recent Grand Slam predictions and the aspects you were proving I would like to ask you some more questions, if I may? Would be great if you could give a comment again for further increasing your fans’ knowledge and interest for future Grand Slams ????

Wawrinka having natal positioned planets conjunct the tournament’s midheaven at both his major titles is fascinating to follow: as you pointed out, Stan’s natal Venus and Mars were conjunct Paris’ MC (plus transit uranus) a few weeks ago and his natal Uranus was conjunct Melbourne’s MC in 2014.

I am excited to know how many degrees a natal planet can be located from the tournament’s MC to still have a decisive positive effect on the player? If Stan’s natal Uranus had been 5 degrees apart from Melbourne’s MC in 2014, would this effect still had been as supportive? Would Uranus, planet for surprises, few degrees apart from Paris’ MC 2015 still have supported a surprise winner?

Moreover, Paris’ Midheaven (MC) was in Stan’s Star sign same as for Djokovic at Wimbledon 2015. If a tournament’s MC is in the star sign of a player, is this comparable strong as vice versa: a player has his natal MC in the tournament’s star design? Does having both even mean doubled support?

Have aspects of the tournament’s MC’s conjunct player’s natal planets (Wawrinka’s 2 major titles) and the tournament’s MC’s in the player’s Star sign (Djokovic Wimbledon 2015 + Wawrinka French Open 2015) an equally strong effect?

Thank you very much Sally. Would be thrilled to read your opinion again!

    Best regards,
    Patrick

    1. hi Patrick, lots of questions. A couple of answers: when you’re looking at the chart of a tournament you allow a 5 degree orb for a planet conjunct an angle. When you’re looking at a player’s chart in relation to an event chart, the orb is smaller, 2 degrees maximum for a conjunction to a planet or angle. Yes, event charts are symbolic astrology so you’re looking for what stands out and grabs your attention. When the chart relates back to ‘career/success’ factors in a player’s chart (i.e. MC, ruler of the 10th house) then it’s picking them out as potential winners. Hope that helps answer some of your questions at least. best, Sally

Hi Sally, thank you very much for taking the time and giving me/us so interesting information again. That’s great knowledge for interpreting future Grand Slam events.

Comparing Djokovic’s natal Sun and Mercury I found that these planets are both over 2 degrees from Wimbledon 2015’s MC (10/7 degrees). Am I right understanding that connecting a player’s chart with a tournament’s chart there’s still a support over 2 degrees but smaller than a conjuction?

    Wish you a nice August!

    Kind regards,
    Patrick

    1. hi Patrick, what was most important about the Wimbledon chart was the fact that Mercury, the ruler of the Virgo Ascendant, was strong in Gemini and conjunct the Midheaven picking out the favourite. Add to that the fact that Djokovic is a Sun Gemini with Mercury in Gemini and you have to like him for the tournament. That was most relevant to me rather than the exact orb of his personal planets. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  143. dear sally jupiter will transit over nadals natal mc(19.10 birth time)in mid august. will be interesting to see if nadal can win the canadian masters which concludes on 16.08.2015.

  145. Wow! If Roger plays as well at USO as in Cincy , it will be an awesome tournament. Loved his attacking game and confidence.????

    1. hi Deidre, I know Roger’s fan let you know that I’m a bit under the weather at the moment. Nothing serious, I just picked up a sore throat/cold earlier this week which is dragging on. I am working in bursts, one of the plusses of working from home, so fingers crossed there will be a prediction close to the tournament starting. That’s my plan anyway. best, Sally

  146. Hi All

Sally, is not sure when she is doing the predicitions for US Open because she is not well at the moment.

    Get well soon Sally

    Get well soon Sally

    1. Thanks Lisa. I am working a little at the moment as I have a lot to do but continuing to rest too so I can shake off the lurgy. Sore throat/cold/cough combination which is sapping my energy. Hope to have the tennis predictions up close to the start of the tournament. best, Sally

  148. dear sally get well soon. you not giving predictions for the major tournaments is like a top player missing a major tournament with injury or illness.hoping to read your prediction soon. best of luck. james

    1. Thanks James. Cold hanging on in there but more energy today thankfully. Planning to write predictions tomorrow afternoon Sunday if I get everything else done. best, Sally

  149. Hi Sally

Hope you are improving. Try and drink Lemon and Ginger Tea. It helps the cold to go away quicker.

    Looking forward to your predictions.

  150. Sally,

Are you feeling better? Are you going to publish the US Open prediction? Cant wait to see what is at stake for Roger?

    Fingers crossed.

    Thanks
