The Men’s Tennis French Open 2015

tennis ball

Update, June 9th 2015: I missed the semis & final of the tournament as I was away all weekend but was delighted to hear that Wawrinka won. He was in my ‘Best of the Rest’ picks (see below) and he embodied the Uranian theme that dominated the chart of the tournament in his stripy shorts. [I have just noticed that he won the Australian Open 2014 when his natal Uranus was conjunct the Midheaven of the chart of the tournament. This time around his natal Venus/Mercury at 17/18 Aries were conjunct the Midheaven of the chart of the tournament and receiving a direct hit from planet of surprises, Uranus].

The astrology showed that the favourite wouldn’t win and Djokovic missed out yet again on his elusive French Open Grand Slam but this time it wasn’t the French Open reigning champion, Rafael Nadal, who defeated him but Stan the man Wawrinka. There was much debate in the comments about a different birth time for Nadal of 19:15 mentioned in his autobiography which scuppered my prediction for him to win. I will be keeping a close eye on what happens for Nadal with regard to the new birth time. Next… Wimbledon 2015. Bring it on!

Back by popular demand, I am once again taking a look at the astrology for the men’s tennis, this time the French Open which begins tomorrow, Sunday 24th May 2015.

If you’re new to my tennis predictions, I use astrology to see what it can tell us about the Top 10 seeds and I keep my astrology relatively simple by checking out the transits during the tournament and especially Jupiter, the success planet.

It’s perhaps worth mentioning that I only have the time of birth for the top players. (If you have any additional information for me regarding times of birth, I’d love to receive it. Thank you.)

Plus I take a look at two charts which represent a ‘moment in time’, the chart drawn up for the start of the tournament and the chart for the final. The chart that symbolises the start of an event can signal what’s going to happen in the tournament, whether the favourite will do well, shock exits, etc.

If you want to check out some of my other tennis predictions which I began in 2012, then either search ‘tennis’ in the search box above or scope out the Sports Astrology category (see side bar on right).

Rafael Nadal (b. June 3 1986, 6:20pm, Manacor, Spain)

I am starting with Rafael Nadal as he has won this tournament more than any other player, 9 times, and he is the reigning champion. OK, I know Nadal doesn’t seem to be on form this year as he’s been losing on clay a lot over the last few months but if he’s going to have yet another comeback and prove he’s a winner not a quitter, it’s now.

The astrology is outstanding – Nadal’s Midheaven, the career point of his chart, is 17 Leo 35 and on June 7th 2015 and exactly at the start of the French Open final, Jupiter is at … 17 Leo 35. To put this in perspective, it takes 12 years for Jupiter to circuit the zodiac so this is potentially a crowning moment for Nadal.

That gives a huge nod to Rafael and yes, he has to get through the rounds leading up to the final but as an astrologer I have to say this is fantastic symbolism for victory. My only question mark with his astrology is the fact that Mercury retrograde (which can symbolise mishaps) is conjunct Rafael’s Sun at 12 Gemini as the tournament begins. What does this mean? It’s tricky to interpret, perhaps something we’re not seeing right now that gets in the way?

Roger Federer (b. August 8 1981, 8:40 am, Basel, Switzerland)

Roger Federer has had a great year whilst Jupiter has been in his sign of Leo. He’s been winning tournaments and been through to the final of tournaments consistently. On the day that the tournament begins, Jupiter is at 15 Leo 37 and Roger’s Sun is at 15 Leo 38. Again this is fabulous astrology and suggests that he will be on form physically and mentally.

However, once Jupiter connects with his Sun (the same day, May 24th 2015), it then begins to separate and moves away from Roger’s Leo planets. As an astrologer, I have to say I think that 2015 will be Roger’s last big year on the tennis court. He turns 34 in August 2015 and you have to ask whether a 35 year old can continue to compete against the young guns.

Retrograde Mercury also connects with Roger’s chart because on the day of the final, Mercury retrograde is at 5 Gemini and close to Roger’s Midheaven at 6 Gemini. If Roger gets to the final, that’s a trickster combination that doesn’t favour a win.

Novak Djokovic (b. May 22 1987, 11:25 pm, Belgrade, Yugoslavia)

When Novak Djokovic is on fire, he’s invincible. He has been playing some awesome tennis recently and deserves to be no. 1 in the world. He is the favourite to win the French Open and his astrology is very hard to read but he’s definitely in there somehow. His natal Jupiter is at 18 Aries 57 and at the start of the tournament, Uranus, the planet of unpredictability is at 18 Aries 59. Plus Uranus is conjunct the Midheaven of the tournament chart!

What on earth does this mean? A shock, a surprise? I’m wondering whether it’s a shock exit for Djokovic but I might be wrong. It might be the fact that finally he wins the one Grand Slam that’s been eluding him, the French Open. It’s not easy to interpret as it can go either way.

Plus, Mars, the competitive planet, is at 18 Gemini on the day of the final conjunct Novak’s natal Mercury at 18 Gemini and as I’ve said before, Mercury rules hands and Mercury in Gemini symbolizes a fantastic tennis player. Oo-er, tricky to interpret.

Andy Murray (b. May 15 1987, 2:10 pm, Glasgow, UK)

Andy Murray was born one week before Novak Djokovic and shares the same Midheaven as Roger Federer (Andy – 7 Gemini; Roger – 6 Gemini). So Uranus is also separating his Jupiter in Aries (n.b. he married when Uranus was applying to Jupiter, his partner planet). Plus, Mercury is retrograde over his Midheaven during the tournament.

Plus points: Mars, the competitive planet, is conjunct his Midheaven at the start of the tournament so he’s keen and his Mars at 26 Gemini is conjunct the Midheaven of the final chart so he too is in the mix.

Best of the rest:

Stanislas Wawrinka (b. March 28 1985, 11:05 am, Lausanne, Switzerland)

Uranus, planet of surprises, has just moved over his natal Mercury/Venus conjunct at 17/18 Aries. Other than that, nothing leaps out although his Moon is at 23 Gemini, close to the Midheaven of the final chart.

Kei Nishikori (b. December 29 1989, time unknown, Matsue, Japan)

Nothing leaps out astrologically except the Moon is conjunct his north node at 18 Aquarius 37 on the day of the final.

Richard Gasquet (b. June 18 1986, 9:00 am, Serignan du Comt, France)

Not a lot connects Gasquet to the charts of the tournament apart from the fact that his Sun is at 26 Gemini, the degree of the Midheaven on the final chart.

Chart for Start of the Tourament (May 24 2015, 11:00 am, Roland Garros, Paris, France)

This is quite an amazing chart. A Leo Ascendant of 8 Leo, the Sun is at 2 Gemini, the ruling planet. In the 1st house, the Moon at 18 Leo is separating from a powerful Jupiter at 15 Leo and moving towards a trine with Uranus at 18 Aries conjunct the Midheaven 20 Aries.

Jupiter often indicates the favourite in a tournament but the Moon is moving away from Jupiter and instead hits on Uranus, the outsider, the unpredictable element. So this is picking out those players who have strong Gemini/Leo in their chart. It also signals that the favourite will not win.

Astrologer’s prediction

This is really intriguing astrology and I can’t wait to see how it will play out. However, you want a prediction and as an astrologer I’m going to plump for the no. 6 seed, the tennis player who loves this tournament, Rafael Nadal. I cannot ignore Jupiter conjunct his Midheaven exact on the day of the final.

Let me know your thoughts and I know you will. I love the rapport of these tennis predictions. Can’t wait to hear from you.

  1. Sally, Thank you so much!

I had read earlier on other forums that David Ferrer astrologically also has a good chance of winning the Open, Did you have a look into his chart?

The important Q – So you think Rafa’s Chart trumps Novaks ?

Thanks Again! Tennis Fans Love you! :))

    1. Thanks Ana. I don’t have a time of birth for Ferrer so I don’t have all the information I need for an accurate prediction. Nothing leaps out otherwise astrologically.
Rafa’s chart is stunning! Jupiter exactly conjunct the Midheaven on the day of the final is classic astrology for a victory. Only Mercury retrograde can trip him up but then it affects all the Geminis (including Djokovic).
The chart for the tournament start is intriguing too as it suggests a surprise, not the favourite. You could effectively say Nadal is the favourite because this is his tournament (although he’s not been troubled with injury) or Djokovic is the favourite as he is the no. 1 seed. I have to go for Rafa though with that Jupiter.

  3. Hiya Sally.

Thank you for your post! Not Nadal again, it is becoming boring with Nadal keeps winning it.

Regarding Roger, Roger said that he will continue to play until Rio. Juan, said that Roger chart is good next year.

This year might be the last year that Nadal will win RG.

What do you think for Roger next year, will he be back with a bang and win another GS before he retires? Roger said that he wants to win another Wimbledon!

    Thanks

    Fed fan – Tri.

    1. hi Fed fan, you know I don’t look far ahead with the astrology and only predict before each Grand Slam. Roger’s been on a roll with Jupiter, success planet, in Leo and that lasts until August. After that, we’ll have to look and see what’s coming up for him.

  4. dear sally thanks for your prediction. saturn is transiting the exact 8th from nadals natal moon during the tournament in retrogade motion. will this prevent nadal from winning the tournament?

    1. hi James Green, it’s not an important factor in his chart. It might affect his mood or be some kind of blind spot around his emotions but otherwise not a major block. The Jupiter conjunct his Midheaven is definitely more powerful.
      best, Sally

    2. hi James Green, one other thought. It is Saturn in Nadal’s chart that is the injury problem so I’m hoping this doesn’t mean he’s carrying an injury which he’s trying to cover over and that will affect him emotionally. That would fit the symbolism 🙁

  6. A million thanks for your astro picks for The French Open. I do hope you could be wrong re. Fantastic Federer ( although you’re seldom wrong) . One questionI have is what about rain? Roland Gerros does’nt have a roof like other major courts. And IF the final should be on another day would’nt the astrology change? I’ve been looking at the ephemeris and also looking at the charts of people very close to the top players like trainers, wives and those a loss or win would affect. As there’s no birthtime for people like Mirka Federer,Nadal’s trainer,Boris Becker( to my knowledge) I imagine their charts would show something. Am I correct? would love to have your take on these questions. Thanks again for your wonderful website. It really makes my day better!

    1. hi Jackie, thanks for your comment. I have in the past looked at the charts for the trainers, especially when the astrology wasn’t clear for the players and that’s certainly something you can do. Again, it’s helpful if you know the time. I use Astrodatabank for accurate birth times. Here’s the link to Boris Becker: http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Becker,_Boris.
Yes, if it rains this changes the astrology for the final (although not the chart for the start of the tournament which is often a powerful symbol for the event). On that note, there could easily be changes to the schedule with Uranus conjunct the Midheaven and Mercury retrograde throughout the tournament. I wouldn’t be surprised if the final is pushed back.
Thank you for your kind words about my wonderful website. You’re a gem :).

  7. Jackie, you are rude about Roger. Please show respect! Roger will do well at RG. Nadal, we have to wait and see.

    Astrology is not always right!

    1. hi Fed fan, not sure what you thought Jackie was saying in her comment but she’s a huge Roger Federer fan!
Yes, you’re right we have to wait and see with Nadal. The astrology will reveal itself for sure but sometimes it does this in the most intriguing way. That’s why I love it 🙂

    2. Just saw your comment re. Roger. ME rude concerning Federer??? Not in a million years! In fact My hope is that he totally destroys all the other players match wise and wins every grand slam there is. I know thats not totally possible but he sure is playing brilliantly and may he continue til he feels like doing something else!

  8. Jackie, you are rude about Roger. Please show respect! Roger will do well at RG. Nadal, we have to wait and see.

    Astrology is not always right!

  9. Sally, can you please give us some information on each players chart on the day of the Nadal-Djokovic quarter-final (which I believe is Nadal’s birthday).
That is the decisive day of this tournament, most likely.

    1. Thanks for your comment. I will have a look at the astrology nearer to the time if it’s a Nadal-Djokovic match. Let’s see what happens before then.

  10. Sally ,
Probably biggest match will be played in QF on 3rd of June when 2 favourites meet.
I would like to see how their planets align for that particular day.

    1. Yes, it’s a popular question and thank you. I will have a look at the astrology for June 3rd probably next weekend.

  14. Mrs Kirkman, thanks again for the predictions! Independently of who wins, there is a good aura created around this… Is interesting to see that the astros can play a role in sports 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sandro. This remains an enjoyable tennis/astrology forum on the whole. I love it!

  15. Sally,
One ting that you may want to check. If Rafa and Novak were to meet in Qtrfinals on June 3rd, how do their planetary positions looks like and whom does it favour?

I believe that match will pretty much decide the winner. This will happen on June 3rd (Wednesday).I know its too much to ask, but can you please check on this?

    1. hi, you’re the 3rd person to ask. I’ll take a look next weekend, if there are no surprises before then!

im sure astrology favours to nadal till the end of the tournament,no need for speacial prediction on quater final match.

        thanks and warm regards,

  17. sally!! what your predictions manage to do among other things is give a wonderful buildup to the grand slams…..Dont ever stop these pre grand slam predictions….Love your predictions….Im a Nadal fan, so i really hope your predictions come true!! :):):)

    1. Thank you, Ryan, your words mean a lot 🙂 I will only stop if I’m not enjoying the astrology any more. Right now, the astrology’s fabulous!

  19. Sally!! Thanks again for another great prediction. I love these as they add to the tournament. I have a couple of thoughts. Nadal is going through his Saturn return which could be causing him problems. There are reports of him losing his confidence which can be a symptom of Saturn. Also, I would say that Nadal is the favourite. He has only once lost at Roland Garros, has 9 titles, and is the King of clay. I think as someone else said whoever wins the quarterfinal between Djokovic and Nadal will take the title. I remember you proving in one of your older predictions that Mercury retrograde on Federer and Murray’s mid heaven is very unhelpful. So …Allez!

    1. hi Shelley, nice to hear from you again. Yes, Nadal’s Saturn return will be a biggie for him especially as Saturn opposes Nadal’s Sun and the Sun is vitality/confidence/energy. Saturn is the enemy of the lights, the Sun and Moon, and casts a shade. His 1st house Saturn has been about his injuries (Saturn rules bones). Saturn turned retrograde on March 15th at 4 Sagittarius 56 and Nadal’s Saturn is 5 Sagittarius 55. So I don’t think it will affect him right now as it’s separating, moving away. Later this year, November 2015, is another matter but that’s a way off.
Looking again at Mercury retrograde, it affects Nadal’s Sun, Federer & Murray’s Midheaven but doesn’t touch Djokovic’s Gemini planets. Interesting. I did mention in another comment that the interpretation of the chart for the start of the tournament depends on who we think the favourite is, Nadal or Djokovic? So lots to keep an eye on. best, ally

  20. This is a strange French Open. I feel the chart for the tournament in someways contradicts your choice…and I’m a Nadal fan. I guess it’s an interpretation thing. But like you mention Jupiter often predicts the favorite, yet the moon is moving away from the favorite (and this is where it gets tricky)
Nadal has won this slam 9 of the last 10 years. But Djokovic has had an exceptional first half of the year planting himself has the odds on favorite. But like Federer has stated and I quote “”You cannot take away the past 10 years. It’s going to be best-of-five sets. We know how tough Rafa is physically and mentally. He is the favourite still to me.
    as well as Hewitt,
“Nadal is the favourite. “I don’t care how much he’s struggling going into it; with the record he has, he’s been nearly impossible to beat at that place. “Every Grand Slam is tough to win but he’s won the French with ease a lot of times as well.”
And what does Nadal have on the Midheaven during the final…Jupiter.

But once again the moon is moving away from Jupiter towards Uranus. And Djokovic has a lot of Uranus transits during the entire tournament. Uranus conjunct Jupiter, Uranus sextile mercury and Uranus trine Saturn. The latter only lasts the first week though. But is Djokovic really a surprise winner? Is Nadal? So the question becomes between the two (in this tournament at least) who is Jupiter really? And amongst the entire field who’s eligible and has enough game to be Uranus?

My other point is this. Djokovic and Nadal aren’t playing eachother on the final. And sure Jupiter’s transit can be felt before, but it’s not Pluto; nor does it zip by like the moon. Will it even have any effect four days earlier than it’s peak date? June 3rd, if all goes to plan that’s when the top half is scheduled to play their quarterfinal. And if that match comes to fruition, I WOULD LOVE to see that astrological prediction.. After all you can only compete against who’s in front of you on that given day. I still remember your interpretation of Federer’s Pluto aspecting Mars at this years Australian. No one else called that. Great read. AND Federer had great astrology in the second week of the Australian. So say Nadal wins a quarterfinal war. I think the whole tennis world would start praising Nadal to the highest degree, a la Jupiter conjuct Midheaven all the way to the final, BUT like you said the favorite doesn’t win, especially after grinding out two tough 5 setters? Can you say the top half is too heavy?

The doors have opened up quite nicely for Federer, but is there anything progressive (Uranus) about Fed seizing another gifted opportunity.

    1. hi David, thank you for your comment. Great interpretation. You’re quite right, this is an intriguing one to call and depends how you interpret it. I love what you’re saying about the Moon leaving Jupiter (favourite) and moving to Uranus (surprise). Is that away from Nadal (backed by Jupiter) and towards Djokovic (backed by Uranus) and you’re also right, who’s the favourite? Nadal, the French Open star or Djokovic, the no. 1 seed. So lot’s to look forward to.
I do believe the Jupiter shows as it’s building. A transit is always more powerful when it’s applying than separating. So this is a peak time for Nadal with Jupiter closing in on his Midheaven. Djokovic’ Uranus conjunct his natal Jupiter isn’t about his career necessarily as Jupiter is in his 3rd house ruling communication, social media, breaking news perhaps?
Plus Uranus conjunct the Midheaven of the chart of the French Open could of course bring in a surprise winner, someone we’re not even considering as yet. A new name.
Time will tell and I love seeing the astrology unfold. Will keep checking it out, especially the peak Quarter final matches. I think you have to as you mentioned.
      best, Sally

  22. Hi Sally,

As a Federer fan, it is quite disheartening.

    Well….we know..Rafa is supremely talented.

Has the astrology been favorable for him for the past 10 years, except 2009, especially during June ?

    1. hi tennisbuf, sorry it’s disheartening. I haven’t checked Rafa’s stars each year for the French Open. It’s usually his birthday? Happy birthday, Rafa! I always hope Roger does well – he was the reason I started these tennis predictions back in Wimbledon 2012 when I predicted his win 🙂

  24. Hiya Sally,

I found as per your predictions Nadal is the favorite and Djookovic is not that having that much chance to win…

I just wanted to check the second round chances to win for Nadal if Almargo will meets him in second round and of course it is a big question for quarter final as well most probably against Djokovic..

Could you check these two days, players and chances of winning for Nadal???

I m a big fan of Nadal and I him to shut the mouth off of the critics..

    1. Thanks for your comment. I can’t check every game otherwise I’d get no work done 🙂 We shall find out soon enough. best, Sally

  25. Hi Sally, have you noticed the crazy pants players are wearing at the tournament? Checked, striped…I saw Sharapova with very loud striped stretch pants on during her practice. As you pointed out Uranus is sitting very tightly on the midheaven on the opening tournament chart and the crazy fashion trend is very ‘Uranian’. Maybe the players who are more susceptible to Uranian energy are picking up the trend. I saw Wawrinka with a pair of them on and he strikes me as a Uranian character. He had the shock surprise win over Nadal to win his grand slam. And he often loses to players well below himself when you expect him to win. Anyway, thought I’d point this out as it is evidence of astrology in action.

    1. hi Shelley, yes I have noticed! Wawrinka’s shorts weren’t my favourite pair – lol! Uranus rules controversy and so far, Federer’s questioned security after a teenage fan came on court for a selfie and Wawrinka had his private life revealed in a rather unflattering way in a pre-match article. The Swiss are hopping mad and rightly so, I’d say. best, Sally

        1. 🙂 My Mum would have been horrified if she were alive today, Jackie. She always preferred the white attire of Wimbledon!

  27. Hi Sally, it seems like the way stars are powerful for Djokovic during Australian open, now they are there for Nadal for his favorite slam!

I am taking your word that Nadal will win his 10th RG title and 15th overall, leaving him just 2 behind the great Roger Federer! Do you see Rafa overtaking Roger in terms of most slams or at least stay equal with him with 17?

Same for Novak if he would overtake Nadal in terms of slams? I know I am asking too much, but just check their overall horoscopes.

    Thanks!

    1. hi Rafa fan, yes, asking too much 🙂 I’m a one Grand Slam at a time, kind of girl (that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean!) best, Sally

  29. Hi,

Have you looked into the women favourite? Thank you for doing this–I am hoping for Federer to come through but good luck to all.

    Mac

    1. hi Mac, no I haven’t. The women’s tennis is very tricky as there are so many players in the mix each Grand Slam. It’s too big a job and never worked very well when I tried to do it. I love the mens’ predictions because you can see the astrology at work. best, Sally

      1. Thanks Sally–I appreciate your response. I hope for a good outcome in both genders. I much prefer Federer to win. I like the more classical game. Nadal is too bullish for my own taste. If neither wins, it would be nice to see Ferrer win–he deserves this more then either of them.

  31. Count fortune horoscope for the start of the French Open on solar ascendant Novak đokovića.I interesting is that in Solar Djokovic ruler of the solar asc is midervan.Uran and produces unexpected champions in this case unless every hope is the surprise?

  36. This is getting so predictable. Nadal with everything lined up every French Open. He’ll eat up on French Opens and pass Federer on that count alone. That’s ridiculous. Has there ever been a year when Nadal didn’t have great stars for the French?

To see the most beautiful player in the world being upstaged by a guy who makes mockery of tennis rules is pathetic. And all this, predominantly on the back of ONE slam (even with all other surfaces being slowed down).

    1. Thanks for your comment. You sound like a big Federer fan, so I can understand your frustration with my prediction. Astrology gives you a new perspective on events but it’s not the only one and I’m not out to prove anything, simply to show how astrology works symbolically. Yes, Nadal’s stars are lucky right now and it is amazing how he’s dominated the French Open but a win is not written in stone. I like him as a player personally, he’s the gladiator of the show. Anyway, time will tell who comes out on top. best, Sally

  38. If Sally isn’t looking beyond one major how come she’s predicting that 2015 is going to Roger’s last decent year on tour? Hmph.

    1. Quite right to say ‘humph’ but I’m not considering the whole picture with the comments I’ve made about Roger and Rafa. All I was saying with Roger is that Jupiter, the success planet, has been in Leo this past year and he has been playing amazingly well. My gut instinct is that with Jupiter leaving his sign, his best will be behind him but that’s not a full astrological analysis. Same with Rafa when I mentioned his Saturn return at the end of this year. That’s one factor which could suggest an injury flare up for him but it’s not taking everything into account in his chart. That takes a whole lot more work and time which is why I focus on the astrology as each Grand Slam arises. I hope that helps explain the reason why. best, Sally

  39. I do not know English, I use google translator, therefore it is incomprehensible
    In short, Djokovic will win.

  40. HI,

THANKS DJOKOVIC ASTRO IS NOT FAVOR TO WIN AND HE WILL BE STRUGGLE TO PLAY FROM THE SECOND ROUND OF MATCH.HIS OPENING MATCH ITSELF A LITTLE STRUGGLE IN THE SECOND SET.ALSO HE HAD A BIG PRESSURE TO WIN A FRENCH OPEN.THIS EXPECTATION WILL GIVE A SURPRISE RESULT FOR DJOKER BEFORE QF OR AGAINST NADAL.

    1. hi Alex, thanks for sharing the link. Always interesting to read. I’m not sure that’s a decisive prediction either way though. It only seems to say he’ll struggle more until mid-July and then things will go well again for him. We shall soon find out. best, Sally

  42. Thanks Sally for your article. Its refreshing to read!

Another astrologer I follow had the below saying:

In general I agree with everything said by Juan! Djokovic starts with a bucket of ice water favored by the old Saturn , Nadal suffer physical discomfort, not win the tournament. Wawrinka has the annoying node south conjunction accurate with his Sol now. Federer reached the final but remains on the shore. David Ferrer Trophy and his first grand slam takes. Both players are having their soles fire blessed by Jupiter .

    1. Thanks for your comment, Pal. Who’s the astrologer? So he/she is going for a Ferrer win over Federer in the final. Djokovic, Nadal and Wawrinka out. Interesting. best, Sally

        1. Thank you! So that prediction is wrong. Still don’t know who the astrologer was though. best, Sally

  43. HI,

MY WORDS WILL COME TRUE ON TOMMOROW,NOVAK WILL FACE MULLER.MULLER MIGHT BE GIVING THE SUPRISE RESULT TO DJOKER OR IT COULD BE A VERY TOUGH MATCH FOR DJOKER AND MULLER WILL WIN THE SECOND ROUND AGAINST DJOKER IF HE PROVIDER A TIGHT PRESURE.

    THANKS AND WARM REGARDS,

  45. Hola!

    Saludos

    1. hi Juan, good to hear from you again. Your prediction is that none of the favourites will win (which would perhaps fit Uranus conjunct the Midheaven of the tournament chart). Possibly Ferrer but also a new name likely. Great. Look forward to seeing what transpires. best, Sally

  46. Hi Sally
Love your tennis predictions.. keep up the good work
I just want to know , as I am reading all the comments how can people using astrology (ie the same tool)have vastly different interpretations of the same event?
    what gives?
    cheers

    1. Thanks for your comment. That’s the whole point really. It’s how you interpret the astrology, which factors you determine are important and which not. It’s the sign of a good astrologer when what they tell you not only makes sense to you but plays out in your life too. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  47. Dear all including Sally,

I have used google translation of Juan message for all of us. Here it is:

Hi! That good to read you Sally.

My prediction is that none of the favorites to win this RG 2015. Djokovic arriving at most candidate and that is having a phenomenal 2015, Saturn just now beginning to hit his natal Sun. As I said some time ago, begins with an RS Sun-Saturn in opposition. Djokovic will suffer greatly in the Grand Slam under this period (June 2015 – May 2016).

Nadal not see him winning. I drive a chart with MC 1 Virgo. He began a RL with Saturn-Mars, very hard.

Federer will go far, and will make an excellent performance. Will be your best RG in recent years, thanks to Jupiter! It has a very good RL, almost excellent. But it is under an RS with Sun-Saturn. Under the RS I do not think I can win a GS (RG 2015 – WB 2015). Then begins a much better RS.

That is my biggest prediction, that none of the favorites to win. Also, if we see in the initial letter, Moon is separated from Jupiter and applies to Uranus -favorito–surprise.

At best I see is David Ferrer, because it initiated an RS with Sun-Jupiter partile. What may be winning his 1st GS. But if not Ferrer, the winner can be a wildcard, a covered, a surprise.

That’s my prediction for this Roland Garros 2015!

    Regards

    1. Are you an astrologer or just a spoil sport ?!

If you have nothing positive to wish for other players, then just keep away.

Negative blokes like you spoil the mood and tone of discussion!

      1. G Saravanan has always had strong opinions. I think it’s partly a language thing but that’s just the way he is. No worries. We like his comments, usually… best, Sally

    1. Are you an astrologer or just a spoil sport ?!

  49. I admire the risk you’re taking this time.
Nadal after the biological passport became mandatory in tennis (september 2014) has clearly lost his physical superiority, and even on clay his play has been really way below the level of djokovic, murray, federer, nishikori, and others…
I really don’t see how he can win.
Not much luck/stars factor in 5 sets tennis in my opinion, let’s see…
    Cheers

    1. You’re not a Nadal fan Gino. No problem. But your comment has bad taste all over it. Indirect accusation leveled that Nadal is doping. Then again, you could not even get your facts right. The Biological passport was introduced in Aug 2013 (before the US Open) and was used for 50 top ranked players. It became FULLY operational for other players by Sept 2014.

      1. it’s not indirect, it’s a direct accusation, i’m allowed to have my opinion, the bad taste is your own problem. Analyzing dates, results, pictures, sudden change in the body and results, there’s a very high chance Nadal career has been under doping influence.
Not even journalist dare to talk about it, because ATP is a huge centralized business, it’s just to protect business.
For example it is very well known in the tennis world that famous players get “silent bans”, meaning they fake injury and stay out for a while as a doping disqualification,

        1. Yes, you’re allowed to have an opinion but you can’t accuse someone without evidence. I hope you’re intelligent enough or not ignorant enough to comprehend the above line. Since you talk about sudden changes etc, why did Federer have such a great 2012 and even a 2014 but such an abysmal 2013? Was he doping too? That’s the kind of spiteful comment people like you would make.

You didn’t see Nadal’s muscles…bla bla. I didn’t see any change in Federer’s serving speed in 2013 Wimbledon but he had a back issue. Does that mean he was faking? You’d like to think so I guess.

Lastly, if sports is mostly a business etc, do others a favour and just stop watching it. Now you’ll come out and its my choice etc. 1 simple idiom in life: YOU CAN’T HAVE YOU CAKE & EAT IT TOO!

        2. hi Ginolatino, I know you’ve mentioned this before on the blog but it’s probably best to keep it to yourself as it offends other people who wish to comment. If it’s true, it will be revealed. If it’s not, then it won’t. best, Sally

          1. Well, I just mentioned the biological passport as a “prediction variable”. I made a lot of good bets using that variable this year, predicting Nadal losses, I’m not really into fans love-hate. I’m not particularly a fan of Federer either. But I understand if you want to keep this and my posts out of the forum.
It’s probably for the best. Cheers

    2. hi Ginolatino, I don’t see it as a risk, I just explain the astrology and go for what’s best. I agree it would be an amazing feat for Nadal to win but he’s proved he can be the comeback kid. If he’s going to do well, the stars are aligned. best, Sally

        1. I didn’t see Nadal muscles+run in Rome or in Paris yet, but he might have very well set up his last “shot”, so too speak.
It would be reasonable from his own point of view, and then retire for an injury…
Obviously only suggestions, sorry for the bad taste.
Sports is mostly a business and brands are protected, people seem to forget that.

    1. Aren’t they in the same half – or do I have that wrong? Glad you’re up for a bet too. best, Sally

  51. Looking at the astrology reports, I think there is a chance to make money!!! Sites are giving 9/2 odds on Nadal!!!

  52. ginolatino. you are a disgrace for this forum. Please go to another forum with praise your beloved federer. Is disgusting than a guy without a face (you) can accuse someone with your “guts”. Nadal is not the only big name on the planet, th rest of the big four, your beloved swiss, djokovic and Murray are the stars of the show. If one of them is doping I am sure than all of them are doping too. I encourage Sally to ban this kind of poster than only add negativity and because of the prediction of the astrology is not what they wanto to hear, they start throwing accusations and star another dirty war agianst someone they obvously hate. Go to another blog to express your hate but this is after all an astrology prediction. I hope Nadal can win his 10th RG to silence his critics and detrctors.
    vamos!

    1. Thanks for your comment, Steve. I have replied to Ginolatino. I don’t think the doping question (and that’s all that it is until proved otherwise) has a place here either to be fair. Best kept to one self. best, Sally

  53. Steve……

You need not be so aggressive….. Why don’t you comment on Sarvsnan’s post when he shows his naked support to nadal???

I’m one of the biggest fan of Federer n at the same time , RESPECT Sally’s prediction n aastrology….

But if u still want to be aggressive, I suggest you to go through this link which will make you understand tenni more…..

    1. Samarjeet, I have replied to both Gino & Steve. This blog/website is to discuss the astrology primarily although I do understand people have strong emotions when accusations are made. best, Sally

    1. Its fascinating how people love accusing Nadal of using steroids without any substantial evidence. I suppose tomorrow I could accuse any one of your for murder and say its the truth like you guys insist it is with Nadal. Even the article posted above by Samarjeet was pure conjecture. NOT 1 SHRED of evidence. Simply speculating theories. If Nadal is indeed a cheat, he will be found out. As of now, he’s not one, so why jump on this spiteful bangwagon of trying to accuse him? Pure jealousy that he’s competing with other greats like Federer & Djokovic. Also, I’ve never seen people say Djokovic is on PEDs. He had 1 marathon 2011 and then never reached the same heights again. Federer has been so consistent all his life but his performance tapered off as Nadal & Djokovic emerged. As I mentioned earlier, he had a great 2012 and 2014 but a poor 2013. Does it mean he forgot to dope in 2013? Ridiculous conclusions some of you here make.

Basically you think Nadal fakes injuries and takes breaks. So he faked serving at 30-40km lesser in the Aus 14 just to prove he’s injured. He took a break after his loss to Soderling just to prove he’s injured. He lost to Rosol and reports said he had Hoffa’s syndrome but some of you obviously think its fake. I pretty sure none of you about his congential foot problem (tarsal scaphoid). He has to wear drastically modified shoes to fight this problem with the stress from the foot diverted to the knees and back which would mean eventually he would face more and more issues. Ofcourse the haters conveniently ignore that.

    1. samarjeet, you are a IDIOT. Your stupidity can not cure, will be better for you to book an appointment with the psychiatrist: You’re going to need, kid-
      Vamos!

  55. I have one humble request to all boarders. Please do not take this forum to air personal likes and dislikes. This is purely astrology of french open 2015. What the stars foretell ?. This is a fortnight’s astrology of the players vis-a-vis FRENCH OPEN. I find that there is no character and quality in the comments made by a few of the boarders. I would request them to refrain from spoiling the spirit of the column. Sorry Sally. please do not have any ill feelings. We may have to evolve a fair practices code !

  56. Thanks Sally for taking time to predict French open 2015. I appreciate the way your analyse astrological science.

  59. Hi Sally,
Great Work. You were always spot on with your predictions(well mostly, depends on the way one interprets them). Did you get a chance to look into the potential QF between Nadal and Djokovic? Its fast approaching. Thanks in advance.

    1. Thanks for your comment. The astrology always shows in events and that’s what is important to me. I don’t always interpret it correctly admittedly but I love learning from how events above mirror life below. That’s what continues to intrigue and interest me. I haven’t looked at 3rd June. I’ll probably do so at the weekend once we know more. best, Sally

  60. Its time people like Sarvanan should understand this is not a site of His fab player…..

Even though I’m one of the greatest Fed fan , but at the same time I have to respect astrology also…

    1. Agreed. Sarvanan should not think only Nadal is good enough to win. Djokovic, Federer, Murray, others players etc are all very much capable of winning.

However, he DOES NOT go around accusing other people’s favourites of doping or cheating (not yet atleast). Quite a big difference in mentality from some of you here.

  61. HI SALLY FANS,
WE ARE HERE TO SHARE THE OPINIONS ABOUT TENNIS AND ASTROLOGY.THE BEST WAY TO INSULT YOUR FRIEND IS NOT TO RESPOND.THE BEST WAY TO TREAT PSHYCO IS IGNORE THEIR COMMENTS.LET CONTINEU MY PREDICTIONS NADAL HAS NO THREAT IN THIRD AND FOURTH ROUND BUT FOR DJOKOVIC HE HAS REAL TEST WITH KOKANIKASS.IM STRONGLY BELEIVE KOKANIKAS WILL WIN IN THIRD ROUND HE IS YOUNG CHAP FROM AUSTRALIA HE WILL FIRE WITH ACE IN THIRD ROUND AGAINST DJOKER.IF DJOKER WINS IN THE THIRD ROUND HE WILL TREATED BY NADAL IN QF.LETS HOPE KOKANIKAS WILL STOP DJOKERS STREAK IN THIRD ROUND.
    THANKS AND WARM REGARDS,
    G SARAVANAN.

    1. Dear G Saravanan

Please stop banging about Nadal. This is about Astrology. Look Astrology said the favourite won’t win that means Djokovic, Nadal etc. So please respect other views. You are putting people off with you cocky comment abput Nadal as you want him to have it easy. But respect Sally and other views.

I am interested in Astrology and what its says.

Please I am asking you nicely stop bragging about Nadal and respect others.

      Thank you

  63. SARAVANAN,
IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF YOU STOP BEING A FANBOI OF NADAL. YES THERE ARE PLAYERS WHO CAN TAKE OUT DJOKOVIC. YOU OBVIOUSLY ARE A TROLL AND YOU WANT DJOKOVIC TO LOSE TO EVERY PLAYER OUT THERE.

THE SAME CAN HAPPEN WITH NADAL GIVEN HIS CURRENT FORM. AND STOP RILING FED AND NOVAK FANS FOR GOOD. IF YOU CANNOT DIGEST NOVAK’S OR FED’S PROGRESS, STOP WATCHING TENNIS.

FOR GOD’S SAKE NADAL DOESN’T EVEN MAKE IT DEEP ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF RG. SO IT WOULD BE BETTER IF NADAL TROLLS LIKE CAN CAN STOP WASTING THE WEBSPACE OF SALLY HERE.

    Saludos!

    1. Glad to hear you’re going for a Federer win, Juan. I like Monfils, a colourful player, but Federer deserves to do well. best, Sally

    2. Juan Cruz no es objetivo lamentablemente. Su amor incondicional para el suizo lo hace incompetente para este tipo de predicciones, algo que es fatal en la astrología. Che, cuando seas más objetivo tal vez tus predicciones sean tomadas en serio.

  67. Well it seems the slams brings out the fevour in all of us. I too am on pins and needles this year as to who will win.

Thanks Sally for keeping the topic alive and giving fans a place to come and express themselves. I love reading all the predictions.

  68. Hola Juan,

Thank you for putting the prediction of Roger VS Monfils on Sunday.

It is nice to read your comment about Astrology of matches and what the outcome will be.

    Thank you again.

    Kind Regards

    Federer Fan.

  70. Juan Cruz translation:

For me it will win Roger ! Sunday transiting Mars will be in Gemini 13th : sextile to his natal Mercury (13 ° Leo) and his Sun ( 15 ° Leo) . I understand that this will give great strength and vitality, not only for this game OF , but also for the game of CF.

Monfils , however , is that Mars in transit 13º opposed his natal Mars (13 ° Sagittarius) Gemini To me it means defeat.

    Greetings !

    1. @Samarjeet: Your lack of knowledge/ignorance is hardly surprising. Typical person who believes what he/she wants to believe but will never do your homework to know actual facts or statistics.

First, consider the context. Why did Agassi reveal this? He needed to generate publicity for selling his book where this was first mentioned.
If you follow football, its like Alex Ferguson’s staggering words saying, Steven Gerrard was not a first class footballer.

Secondly, do you know what crystal meth is and what it does? Yes, it’s a drug but it DOES NOT qualify as a performance enhancing drug. It’s a recreational drug. Do you know the difference between the 2 drugs? As the name suggests, the latter is only used for one’s one amusement and does not serve to improve your performance in sports.

This use of crystal meth is a class 2 violation by the ATP. Do you know what that is? It means, even they classified it as a NON-PERFORMANCE ENHANCING drug. It it was indeed a performance enhancing drug, Agassi would have been stripped of all his titles and winnings. He was not, i.e draw the conclusion yourself.

But since you only seem to give half the information, I’m pretty sure the context of all this is unclear to you. If it is, I have no problem enlightening you with more facts.

    2. Also his father works for a highend pharmaceutical company. It was well believed that before Nadal (perhaps) began doping that Federer has a long stance of doing so. By the way the Spaniards throughout sports always get caught. They don’t have a good program. But Lance Armstrong even til this day has never tested positive. They took him down by getting at his teammates. The point is clown, your speculation is biased and filled with hate. Daddy didn’t love you? And that there’s far greater evidence of all the big three doping than there is of just Nadal. If so…poor Murray. But your attack on just Nadal, shows how narrow minded a view your world is. In the end if it’s true, and there is a crack down; like all sports, there’s always one face of the controversary (Ben Johnson) while the other (Carl Lewis) gets to ride off into the sunset. Even when his fellow compatriots admitted he cheated.

  71. @ Samarjeet: Instead of writing things that make sense & posting about facts, you’ve done exactly what I expected you to do. Type nonsense because you could not comprehend facts.

Sigh, I feel pity for you. More so if you’re a lawyer or planning to become one because you can’t understand facts/evidence.

By the way, kudos on the laughable comeback!

  72. Samarjeet in his own ideal world had made peace with himself that Nadal has beaten Fed so many times that its unbelievable from him and come what may it can only be done by doping..

But Samarjeet this actually is crap mentality and you are helpless and frustrated Fed Fan Boy .. you cant add anything more here….

Just for once try to get when Fed says that Nadal is and will always be Fav for French Open due to his superior clay court skills..Just google what Soderling has to say…

If your brain or anyone who thinks that Nadal dopes google what Mat Willander has to say about Nadal .. he said when he practiced with Nadal… he had seen nothing like it … The ball comes with some much spin that its almost unplayable.. See what Tim Henman has to say…Nadal plays with so much energy.. This was all when he was not even pro…

Some of the Fed fan boy are so blind that they think Nadal has no skills and are frustrated that he has won so many French open without any skill and he does not deserve to overtake Fed.. Let me ask why..French is still a Slam … and on top of that he has won 5 other slams…?

Manhar you said that Nadal only goes deep in RG but buddy he makes most of it… isnt it? What does Fed do when he goes deep .. go deep and loose in final….Wake up buddy..Fed hasnt won anything important since 2012…

PRJ beauty lies in the eyes of beholder .. to your eyes Fedrers game is beautiful … but to million of Rafa fan Rafa’s game is beautiful.. Rafa fans can also say that Fed has mopped most of his Slam when competion was weak…. this things does not matter….

So guys no player is perfect… beauty changes as per the fans… so enjoy the greats and the great game of tennis

And Enjoy Sally tennis Predictions.. She always puts in lots of effort… And on top of that she has said its nothing is written in stone..so even Fed or Murray can win…

    Thanks Sally

    1. Aah, thank you Rinku, I know I have my fans out there and you all know what I’m doing with the astrology. It’s why I keep predicting. best, Sally

    2. Thank you for this Rinku. People really take their hatred for a certain player to a vicious level. At some point, you really start to wonder if they actually support a certain player or just hope their favourite’s rivals perform poorly etc.

  74. Samarjeet and RJ – Peace!! 🙂

Appa….Saravanaa….Djoker won against Kokkinakis in straight sets! What next ?

  75. Samarjeet and RJ – Peace!! 🙂

Appa….Saravanaa….Djoker won against Kokkinakis in straight sets! What next ?

  76. @Rinku.

Astrology said that favourite does not win. Juan said the same thing. The favourites are Nadal, Djokovic etc. It means that they will not win. It will be an outsider! Like the USO!

Lets astrology speak for itself. By I find Nadal tennis boring but that is my opinion.

    Kind Regards

  77. @Federer fan

Same here. I found Federer really boring. For me Nadal was love at first sight. Before that I used to love Agassi and Edberg. Apart from tennis I like player who has some character. When I saw Nadal the first time he was full of it. I can’t forget those fist pumps, those shorts those t-shirts .. long hairs..man very charming player

On top of that when federer was winning everything it was sort of getting really boring .. Nadal made it interesting (or atleast for me)..

Nadal and Federe define each other .. They are like 2 side of a coin..

I hate gifted players.. I love players who work hard and and struggle..and still try to win..They are more closer to human..don’t they?

    But I respect your choice..

Here Sally is the master and she has chosen Nadal. So Till Nadal lose I am hopeful and will be really upset when Nadal loses…

    Regards

    1. @Rinku: Perfectly summed up. Here is a guy who is not blessed with Federer’s natural talent or artistry. Here is a guy whose career was technically over at 19 because of some foot condition. Here is a guy who has to wear drastically modified shoes so that his knees and back that the pressure from his foot just to play tennis.

Nadal’s determination is excellent to watch. Federer is all grace but he seems like a blessed person. Nadal has to work so hard for what he achieves.

  79. Without Nadal Federe would have mopped everything on horizon..Federer won his first in 2002 and it took jokovic to be major force in 2011(thats like 9 years).. In that Period only Nadal could solve the Fed puzzle.. I dont think Djokovic had properly solved the fed nadal puzzle(only 2011 is an exception).. Djoko looks really good(then he actually is) now but Nadal and Fed have declined and no one else as good as fed and nadal are on the circuit..(But this is all my view does not want to offend Djoko fans because they have their reasons to like Djoker)

  80. Look everyone.

Can we stop this fighting about Nadal on Sally site! Sally has put this astrology up for us and we got fighting on here about Nadal.

Please put this doping thing away and talk about Astrology. You guys are ruining it for others who want to talk about Astrology.

    Thank you!

German astrologer predicts the next 8 slams and the olympics
    Australian Open 15:
Federer with Venus Square MC and Moon Conjunction Mars during final; Djokovic with Moon Conjunction DC and Mercury Square Pluto – open end but very good chance for final for Roger! Murray may be in semi finals with Mars conjunction DC then. But question is Rafa Nadal. If he is born 18.23 (officially 18.20) he will have Jupiter conjunction MC. But from my feeling it will be the final Djoker-Federer. Women’s winner could be Kvitová.

    French Open 15:
Rafas 10th title. Jupiter exactly conjunction Rafas MC! Other finalist may be Del ptro with Jupiter conjunction Venus (during Sei final?). Djokovic may be go out very early with Saturn opposition Sun. Jankovic will definetely go to Women’s final (very good odds 1:50 for win!). She has Mars Square Mercury and Opposition Uranus as well as Moon Conjunction Jupiter during final!

    Wimbledon 15:
I Think, Murray can win the title. Moon conjunction MC exactly when final starts. Underdog prediction for Women: Alison Riske with Mars Conjunction Sun and Jupiter Trine Mars during final! But winner may be Radwanska with Jupiter opposition Mercury.

    US Open 15:
Maybe again Murray in Final with Jupiter Square MC. But Federer very good chance to win with Venus conjunction Sun and Sonne Sextil Moon! Women’s winner may be Li Na with Jupiter opposition Sun.

    Australian Open 16:
Did not find a men’s favourite. Women’s winner may be Lauren Davis or Eugenie Bouchard.

    French Open 16:
Maybe end of Nadals unbelievable row of victories. He is very close to Saturn opposition sun. Jupiter conjunction Murrays Ascendant! But will he really win on Clay? Also maybe Jupiter Trine Ascendant of Djokovic. Federer has Monknot (Charma Point!?) Conjunction Venus during semi final. Bertens may go very far in the Women’s competition (semi finals) with Jupiter conjunction Jupiter.

    Wimbledon 16:
Federer gets Jupiter conjunction Venus and Sun conjunction Mars on 5th July (probably 1/4-Finals). he should at least reach the semi finals! Kvitová with Jupiter Opposition Sun same say. Belinda Bencic and J. Jankovic may also go to semi finals. So she sould go the semi finals , too. Venus! Williams vould make a sensation with Jupiter Cnjunction Mars and go to final with 36 years!

    Olympics 16:
Big favourite: Tomas Berdych with Jupiter conjunction Sun! Also Del Potro may have a chance with with Juputer conjunction Ascendant (I don’t have his birthtime but 6.34 seems very reasonable to me. Also Dimtrov with chance (Jupiter trine Sun).

    US Open 16:
I think, Del Potro will made his second win with Jupiter conjunction Sun! Women’s favourites are Stephens (Jupiter Opposition Sun), Radwanska (Jupiter trine Jupiter semi finals), Lisicki (Jupiter conjunction Sun quarter finals) as wll as Polona Hercog (Jupiter Trine Sun and Mars).

So, Roger definitely has the chance to win something more. Maybe I will publish a second year forecaston my blog astroarena.org end of the year.

    Regards, Jannis

    1. Jannis predictions have not been right so far therefore it is unreliable.

Juan has given his prediction – he says that the favourites will not win that means the big guns including Nadal.

French Open could have a new winner – an outsider. Which makes the astrology very very interesting.

    2. hi Samarjeet, I have deleted some of the comments made by you which don’t add to the astrology. This one I like. Looking at the French Open, it’s the same prediction as me for Nadal, Jupiter conjunct the Midheaven. However, I have to say I haven’t yet seen evidence of Saturn opposing Djokovic Sun Gemini harming his tennis. Saturn entered Sagittarius December 2014 and has transited opposite his Sun twice yet he’s still been winning, still the no. 1 seed. Saturn is also currently retrograde and about to retreat into Scorpio on June 15th. I can’t see that the Saturn opposition will be a factor in this tournament. best, Sally

  84. Dearest Sally,

Federer Fan and I apologize to you on behalf of some of those who have been using this forum inappropriately!

We love you and please keep your great work going 😀

    1. It would be easier for Sally to ban foul mouthed rants from people like Gino & Samarjeet that take place without any shred of evidence whatsoever.

Maybe they like being brought down to earth with arguments that make sense.

        1. @Sally: Thank you for deleting those comments Sally. It’s in your hands. Personally, I don’t follow astrology as much as some others here but I’m just curious about it which is why I visit your blogs just to see what your analysis is.

There’s no room for sentiment like the one Samarjeet & Gino echoed generally, not just on this forum so its nice if we can put a stop to this.

On another note, I read somewhere Sally that would analyze a potential Nadal-Djokovic quarterfinal match? Have you done that yet? What’s your take?

    2. Thanks tennisbuf. I have thanked Federer fan already. I am starting to delete some of the comments that don’t add anything to the forum which I haven’t had to do before but I don’t like the petty bickering either. best, Sally

  86. @Samarjeet: Dear Lord!

Stupidity at its finest. Go watch videos of McEnroe saying how Nadal changed his grip on the racquet a few days before the US Open to generate the extra power. They showed videos of his stance and his grip throughout his career. But you think its doping? ROFL

There’s ignorant and then there’s deluded. By the way, where’s your proof? Or is that too hard a word for you to compehrend?

Yes Nadal is slow so he gets penalized for it from time to time. How about other players who love shouting expletives on the court? That’s wonderful to see right?

Soderling NEVER played Nadal in Wimbledon 2008. TYPICAL FACTUAL ERROR.

So Armstrong never got caught. So are u saying you cheated in all your exams but never got caught? Are you saying that you killed a lot of people but never got caught?

I should hope not because at the end of the day, Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat. That means everyone is innocent till proven guilty but hey might be too hard a pill for you to swallow. You prefer drinking from the well of bitterness.

  87. Just a reminder that I am starting to monitor some of the comments and delete the ones that add nothing to the discussion. Don’t hate each other, folks. Tennis is a fantastic game and I appreciate all your feedback, thoughts and your love for the sport so let’s keep it that way. Plus of course, I love your thoughts, comments on the astrology too. Here’s to a fantastic second week of tennis. best, Sally

  88. Hi Sally and other sports astrology fans,

before 1/16 I have put my predcition for the Men’s French Open on my blog: http://astroarena.org/2015/05/31/prognose-french-open-2015-vor-dem-achtelfinale-herren-murray-oder-federer-wer-kann-nadals-siegeszug-stoppen/.

For today I see Tsonga as winner against Berdych (predcition going well, Tsonga won 1st set and Break in 2nd!), Simon winner against Wawrinka, Federer Winner against Monfils.

If Rafas birthtime is exact, than I go with Sally. Beside Jupiter conjunction MC. He also would have Neptun trine AC. But I am not sure if the time is precise. Last two times in October and January Rafa didn’t have success when Jupiter was on 17°35, so I am sceptical. However, Nadal has on 3rd June 18.30h Sun conjunction Sun and should beat Djokovic.

Did you see Murray Jupiter trine Jupiter (exact 5 minutes on semi final!)? And Roger has Moonknot exactly on his Jupiter during final!!! Something that you don’t see on first view.

    Greetings,
    Jannis

  89. Hi Sally ,
Your blog and predictions are awesome and great fun .Ignore haters of specific players . Though I am a huge fed fan but not a nasal hater …
How about a Murray nishikori final …as everyone is saying that the favourite may not win

  91. Hi Federer Fan,

just to say something to Samarjeets Post that I have predicted the next Slams for 2015 and 2016. I had a look for some outstanding constellations that I found interesting. Del Potro for example doens’t take part in this French Open due to injury. So it might be interestig to have these constellations in mind. But this cannot be a prediction since this takes much longer time only for one tournament.

    Greetings, Jannis

    1. Dear Jannis,

Thank you for putting up your predictions for French Open 2015, you are right about Roger vs Monfis. It is similar what Juan has said.

Juan has said that Nadal, Djokovic etc will not win RG this year. Nadal has got easy 4th round match out of all the players.

We got to see what the outcome of the astrology, the tournament astrology said an outsider of the top guns could win the tournament.

      Let’s see who wins

      Kind Regards

      Fed Fan.

  92. Hey Sally,

Please post your views on a possible Nadal vs Djokovic match happening on 3rd June. I am desperately waiting for it.

  93. Hey Sally,

Please post your views on a possible Nadal vs Djokovic match happening on 3rd June. I am desperately waiting for it.

  94. @Samarjeet and RJ

Please stop the argument between yourselves, it is getting really nasty and it is spoiling it for others who are interested in astrology.

We all have our dislike of certain players but come on respect other views on here.

Doping allegations need to be to put to bed now. Please keep those views to yourselves.

Sally, I feel sorry for you as certain people want to argue. I have tried to tell them to calm down.

I am asking you all nicely please STOP FIGHTING ON HERE!

PLEASE RESPECT OTHERS INCLUDING OUR LOVELY SALLY KIRKMAN!

    Thank you

    Federer fans

    1. @Federer fan: I’m more than happy to stop but I was only replying to nonsensical posts without any evidence by Gino & Samarjeet.

This is exactly why I requested Sally to ban these foul mouth rants so even I wont have to bother to respond to them.

  96. Sally,

Please ban RJ and Samarjeet from the website. Their argument has crossed the line and despite several people pleading them to stop, it is continuing. Their presence is ruining the website for many people like me and I am a person who eagerly looks forward to your predictions before and during every slam. Normally I am just an onlooker and do not post, but there is a need to post this. In the best interest of the rest of the fans, I hope you decide to ban these two and discourage others from partaking such immature discussion in the future.

    Best,

    RF1981

    1. Thanks for your comment. I’m not banning anyone for now but simply deleting comments which don’t add to the forum. best, Sally

    2. At some point I shall go through the comments and delete the ones that don’t add to the astrology/tennis including the ones asking for a ban. I know people enjoy reading the comments so it would be good to stay on track and make it easier for people to read. best, Sally

    3. @RF1981: I’m sorry but can you show me where the argument is continuing. I’ve said it countless times I’m more than happy to stop. I only reacted to Gino’s and Samarjeet’s comments.

      1. I’m deleting them now so no, they aren’t all there. I will be doing a big hoover up of comments sometime this week so the focus remains on the astrology. best, Sally

    1. It’s a tricky one as there is going to be no set time which is the best way astrologically to make a match prediction. Plus we still don’t know for sure that Djokovic and Nadal will both win their next matches. The weather is going to play a factor today and tomorrow with matches being delayed. If everything was on schedule and they meet in the quarters, then I would have to plump for Nadal. The Full Moon falls on his natal Sun, often a sign of achievement, and it’s his birthday so he has his Solar Return. Djokovic has nice stars too though as Jupiter is sextile his natal Mercury, always a good planet for tennis, but that very same Jupiter will conjunct Nadal’s Midheaven, his success point, which is more powerful. So I stick by my prediction of a Nadal win. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  97. I’ve been away only for a few days but all sorts has been going on. Hopefully, this won’t stop future predictions from Sally. Nadal and Djokovic quarterfinal is set! I’m going with Sally and picking Nadal. Full moon on his birthday will be the difference.

Am wondering if, as uranus is in aries and we have been talking about a surprise winner,if the ariens still in RG are worth more consideration? Think they are Tsongsa, Ferrer and Wawrinka. What do you think Sally?

    1. hi Lesley, good shout! Yes, three Sun Aries left in the tournament. Interestingly, all now 30 or over! No time of birth for Ferrer, an accurate time for Tsonga and a time of birth for Wawrinka that’s not been confirmed. The two really interesting ones in these three are Tsonga and Wawrinka (both playing right now). Born the same year, they both have Uranus at 17 Sagittarius. Both Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries are currently trine their natal Uranus Sagittarius so this is boosting the luck/unpredictable factor for both men. In addition, they both have a natal Jupiter-Uranus sextile (Tsonga – Jupiter 13 Aquarius; Wawrinka – Jupiter 10 Aquarius) and Jupiter rules Tsonga’s Sagittarius Midheaven and Wawrinka’s Pisces Midheaven. Often when you get a transit that mirrors a natal aspect, you see it in action and that’s what’s happening right now. I hadn’t really noticed all of this before but it will be interesting to see what happens today. At the moment Tsonga is storming the match against Nishikori and Wawrinka has the toughest quarter of the two against his country mate Roger Federer. Tsonga has the home crowd element behind him as well. Wawrinka’s win would obviously be the biggest surprise if it happens. best, Sally

      1. Lesley Atkins

My heart said one thing but that is resolved now! However my astrological hunch is that one of the aries players could win. We’ll see:)

        1. hi Lesley, yes a shocker for Federer. We definitely have an Aries in the final, either Tsonga or Wawrinka. You might be right 🙂 best, Sally

  101. Sally….thanks for predicting the Novak-Rafa match. I also think Andy has a good chance against Ferrer. I’d like your take on the other half with Federer, Stan, Nishikori, and Tsonga (surprised over his win).

I looks almost certain that if Rafa wins on Wednesday, then he’ll go all the way to the trophy.

    1. hi Rishi, I’ve just written a comment about Tsonga and Wawrinka and the Jupiter-Uranus luck factor. Good astrology for both. Re. Roger, he has the Sun in Gemini currently sextile his natal Mercury, ruler of his Midheaven, so that’s a nice smaller aspect. However, he has Mercury retrograde over his Midheaven, which I don’t like. Murray has the same – for Murray it was exact June 1st and for Federer June 5th. Mercury retrograde can indicate a change in form when it connects with key planets/angles in the chart. We’ve seen it before. Murray also has lovely transits to his natal Jupiter this week, although for him Jupiter rules home/partner rather than career. Ferrer’s chart isn’t showing anything special but he’s the one player I don’t have a time of birth for in the last 8 so tricky to predict. I’ll stick my neck out and say that looking at the current astrology I’d go for Nadal-Murray semi final and a Tsonga-Wawrinka semi final. I might be completely wrong but wouldn’t that be interesting!

      1. To be honest, I did not think Wawrinka had the mental mettle to beat Federer in a Slam. Realistically, I was thinking Federer in 4 but knowing Wawrinka he could explode and could beat Federer in 4. BUT STRAIGHT SETS! Wow, explosive to say the least.

You’ve nailed the Wawrinka-Federer prediction Sally.

        1. Thanks RJ. It was the worst loss for Federer for years. A real upset. During the match they were saying that Federer has never not taken a break of serve off a player in something like 280 matches, going on 3 years. Sad for Roger 🙁 Happy for Stan 🙂 best, Sally

      2. 2 tough calls and you’ve got both right Sally. I’m not a fervent believer in astrology but you’ve got both spot on so Kudos on that!

  103. What if Federer beats Warinka tomorrow? He does have some good transits. it seems that everyone is fixed about Nadal vs. Djocovich for the final but if there’s a surprise as you Sally had mentioned ,could’nt Federer be it? love to read what you think about that. Also, the weather factor which I had questioned earlier.

    1. @Jackie.. there cannot be a Nadal-Djokovic final ,my friend, as they are in the same bracket.. They meet on wednesday for the quaterfinals

    2. hi Jackie, Nadal-Djokovic is tomorrow’s quarter final match. Wawrinka and Tsonga, both Sun Aries, could bring the surprise factor and they’re both on right now. Wawrinka’s just broken Federer but it’s early days. best, Sally

  104. @Jackie,

Roger got better transits against Wawrinka, Roger will win his match. I think the surprise will be Tsonga. He might be the underdog.

The weather will be warm tomorrow in Paris.

    1. hi Federer fan, Tsonga’s on fire! Watching it now. What transits are you seeing for Roger that are better than Wawrinka? best, Sally

  105. Sally,

Thank you for sharing your insights on tennis in connection with astrology. You have made it interesting for me. The men in the quarter-finals are intriguing but I am curious about something, which man do you think has the potential to surprise everyone thus far?

    Mac

    1. hi Mac, see my recent comments. Two Sun Aries, Tsonga & Wawrinka, are likely to be the surprise. best, Sally

  107. Sally, Thank you so much for graciously answering every post.

Can you predict the Other QTRS please??? Thx!

    1. hi Ana, I’ve been replying to comments and looking at the astrology for the quarter finals. Tsonga & Wawrinka could be the Aries surprise and if they both win today at least one of them will be in the final. I think Murray will beat Ferrer although nothing leaps out tremendously there for either player astrologically and Murray does have Mercury retrograde on his Midheaven which can prove tricky. It’s a shame I don’t have a time of birth for Ferrer. Hope that helps. best, Sally

  108. Hi Sally,

You picked Roger Federer as the winner of US Open 2014 but Cilic won. Is there a chance that Rafa might get upset the same way?

I really want Roger Federer to win. Can Rafa also get a surprise upset or is his horoscope more powerful than Roger Federer?

    Thanks for your prediction.

    RF

    1. hi RF fan, I’ve been writing about the quarter-finals in recent comments. Federer has a tricky Mercury retrograde to deal with right now and Wawrinka’s stars could prove lucky! We’ll know soon. best, Sally

        1. Thank you. Federer still played some great tennis but Wawrinka was on another planet yesterday. Awesome. best, Sally

  112. It would be nice if Djokovic could win but Nadal has the luck of the gods on his side every year at Roland Garros which may be the difference. Djokovic has a 50/50 chance. I imagine it will be a tight match. I think tsonga might be the surprise on the other side. He’s coming through his Saturn return and is playing good tennis again.

  116. HI Sally,

you mentioned there is a surprise element because of Uranus. Is it possible there is a surprise winner, for. e.g. Wawrinka or Tsonga (Tsonga is really playing well). Anyone except Nadal is like a surprise, right? What aspect do you find that is not so positive for Djokovic ?

    Thanks, Phani

    1. Phani, as discussed earlier in the comments, I’m basing my prediction for the win on Jupiter conjunct Nadal’s Midheaven – it’s stunning astrology. The chart for the tournament suggests that the favourite won’t win and there’ll be a surprise. I am judging the favourite as Djokovic being the no. 1 seed. Djokovic’ astrology is certainly not woeful as I don’t think Saturn is close enough to his Sun Gemini to be a problem and he has Mercury at 18 Gemini so the Jupiter-Uranus trine is picking up his ‘tennis’ planet. Astrologically Nadal is the stronger of the two. best, Sally

  118. The puzzle is getting solved. The surprise is that Nadal who could not win any of the preceding events viz., Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid and Rome this season and has slipped to No 7 and is seeded 6 in French Open, is not the favourite and is going to be the surprise winner.

great prediction Sally. A huge pat on your back !!!

    1. Thanks, Federer fan. Yes, surprises all round at the moment. Looking forward to the next set of quarter finals today. best, Sally

  119. I feel sorry for the Federer loss but it would have difficult to win the French Open for him. I just remembering that it about three years ago that Sally starting the predictions of the grand slams. I just remember that I reading a blog about the writer writing about Roger Federer and how he should be a favorite for 2012 Wimbledon. I have to say that enjoy reading your blogs and I am always eager to see what you will predict. I was just wondering will continue to predict the grand slams for years to come because I have to say that I really don’t care about the other players except Federer but I think I would be interested in what the stars are saying.

    1. hi Lisa, thanks for your comment. I will continue to predict the Grand Slams as long as I have accurate birth data for the top players and the astrology continues to be helpful/insightful. If it stops working for me, then I’ll stop. So far, so good this Grand Slam! best, Sally

  120. Hola!

    1. Thanks Juan. I’m pasting the Google Translate for other readers here: “Roger remained outside. As I have been saying for some time, with the Solar Revolution you can not win a Grand Slam (Sun-Saturn square). But also I predicted, Federer has done his best performance at Roland Garros in recent years. And Federer also made its best tour in Clay in recent years. Jupiter urged him. But now Jupiter is separated from its sun. Therefore I believe that Roger will loose months.Federer will slowly improve after the new RS into effect. I think Federer can give a surprise under the Solar Revolution (September 2015-August 2016): Mercury domiciled and set to Regulus. This is my prediction for Federer”

It’s not the best translation but you can understand the general idea. Solar Revolution = Solar Return. I don’t use them much in my predictions at all preferring astrology transits & the chart of the tournament to make my prediction, but it will be interesting to see if your prediction comes true. best, Sally

Thank you very much Sally for this new Grand Slam prediction!!

It’s stunning reading about Nadal’s great astrological support. Also Wawrinka and Tsonga, revealing as the surprises, feels like watching an exciting thriller! I definitely join earlier comments and want to stress say that your reports are “the cherry on the cake” to a Grand Slam

Ever thought about getting a rubric at ‘Mat’s Point’ at Eurosport? Not kidding.. ☺

    Kind regards,
    Patrick

    1. hi Patrick, I’ve never heard of Mat’s Point. Mats Wilander? I think he has more kudos than myself in the tennis world but you never know… best, Sally

      1. Patrick Rudolf

Yeah, Mats Wilander!! He has a great show on Eurosport acting with Barbara Schett (and this time also John McEnroe) besides commenting the matches.

You could be an enrichment for their show, I guess!

        1. Thank you 🙂 best, Sally (but I don’t think they’d have me…) I’d love to get to hang out with John McEnroe though!

  124. Sally’s predictions favouring Nadal seem to always come true. And barring Wimbledon 2012 I haven’t seen any of her prediction favouring Roger come true. hmph again. I’ve resigned on Roger winning another major and Nadal moping up French Opens to pass Roger on the final slam count. Then we have their individual head-to-head. Ugh…It’s the Era of the Ugly for sure. Gimme Edberg/Becker/Sampras/Even Agassi anyday.

    1. I have a soft spot for Federer so maybe sometimes I’m willing him to do well too 🙂 I would have loved him to win another Grand Slam. Who knows, still time perhaps… Nadal hasn’t won this Grand Slam yet and today’s the big match – Djokovic-Nadal! I don’t think it’s the era of the ugly – I love watching men’s tennis and I was an avid fan years ago too. best, Sally

    1. But remember what Sally said that she got a question mark over it. Juan has been right about Roger and many others. So we have to see who is right and who is wrong.

    2. No one chart is ‘stronger’ than the other. Astrology works with timing. The natal potential is in the birth chart and it’s those moments when the astrology is ‘triggered’ by the planets as they move round the heavens that bring moments of glory and/or disappointment. You want to have lucky stars to back up everything else you’ve been putting in to achieve your goal. best, Sally

  127. @PRI

I hope that Sally’s prediction of Nadal winning his 10th is wrong. I am hoping it won’t come true. I am hoping that the tournament astrology prediction that an outsider will win. Then that will make the tournament more interesting than Nadal keep winning it.

But remember Sally have got a question mark over Nadal astrology.

Read Juan prediction – he or she says that NONE of the favourites going to win RG, the favourites are NADAL, DJOKOVIC and MURRAY.

Let’s wait and see what the outcome is and what the astrology says.

I am not sure about Nadal solar return will be but I gather it might not be good. Let’s wait and see.

So keeping with the theme of Uranus I read that a piece of the scoreboard fell during the Tsonga match. I didn’t get to watch it as I was at work but great for Tsonga to beat Nishikori and Wawrinka knocked out Federer. Now it’s Ferrer to knock out Murray and then that will leave Nadal, Ferrer, tsonga and Wawrinka. It’s still looking good for Nadal to go all the way. Jupiter on the midheaven is very powerful. Plus as I said before he has the gods of Roland Garros behind him. Djokovic has the gods of Melbourne behind him so he is not left out. Nadal is being put as the underdog, Djokovic the favourite. So accordingly as Sally has predicted the favourite will not win on Wednesday. We’ll get our answers tomorrow. I expect to see the old Nadal return which will stun everyone.

    1. hi Shelley, yes that was a freak accident yesterday. Glad no-one was seriously injured. More Uranus in play for sure. Looking forward to the match today. best, Sally

Read Juan comment, Nadal is one of the favourites and favourites do not win. The Astrology of the tournament predicts that the favourite does not win that means Nadal. It is giving the power to the fire signs of Aries!

We have to wait and see what the Astrology does for the next few rounds.

      1. hi Rinku, that’s ok who you listen to. You never follow an astrologer blindly. We make our interpretations and you have to see with your own eyes too 🙂 best, Sally

  137. dear sally your prediction about tsonga wawrinka semis has come true. i banked on jupiter transiting federers sun to predict that he will reach the final. but jupiter closely aspecting wawrinkas natal sun venus combination proved more powerful congratulations to you keep up the good work.

    1. An applying transit is always more powerful than a separating transit, i.e. when a planet is moving towards perfection rather than away from it. So Jupiter is now moving away from Roger’s Sun but Jupiter is moving towards Stan’s Mercury/Venus. best, Sally

  138. Only Sally has got the most consistent result. If I remember correctly Juan predicted that Monfils win for Aus open. But that did not happen. This time he is predicting Ferrer. Let see what happens…

  142. I see a pattern of sorts…May be I’m late to have observed it.

Players who are either Geminis or Aries seem to be doing great at the French Open.

Nole & Rafa – Gemini (Yup. Nole is a cusp).
    Stan, Tsonga, Ferrer – Aries

    Even in the Women’s Draw…

    Van Uytvanck – Aries
Timea Bacsinzky – Gemini (June 8th)

    1. Certainly it’s true in the mens draw. In the women’s draw, only one of the final four – Bacsinzky (Gemini), otherwise we have Libra (Serena), Scorpio (Anan Ivanovic) & Aquarius (Lucie Safarova). best, Sally

    1. That was a car wreck for Nadal. I found it quite painful to watch. He seemed to have no energy or belief. I do wonder what this means for him now and what the astrology means. Jupiter was last conjunct his Midheaven when he first appeared at Wimbledon as a youngster in 2003. Is this his swan song? He’s been struggling with injury/form for a while now and I do think his Saturn Return later this year might be a significant turning point for him. Sad. best, Sally

        1. No, I’m not. I’m worried about him now. He has a tricky Saturn in his chart as it opposes his Sun. Saturn is enemy of the lights, the Sun & Moon, and a 1st house Saturn opposite his Sun suggests injuries, a decline in form when he experiences his Saturn Return. I might be wrong but I don’t like the symbolism. best, Sally

      1. Hiya Sally
What do you mean Nadal Saturn Return be significant turning point? Please explain!

        Kind regards

  144. Hi All,

One astrologer had predicted that after French open, nadal will not find his name in top 10 list…..

    It came true !!!!!!

  145. Hi All,

One astrologer had predicted that after French open, nadal will not find his name in top 10 list…..

    It came true !!!!!!

    1. Yes, this won’t help Nadal’s seeding at all. I’m surprised how easy it was for Djokovic today. Is he going to prove himself invincible once again or will one of the Sun Aries players spring a surprise? It looks like a Djokovic-Murray semi final which I wouldn’t have predicted. best, Sally

  146. Hi Sally,
Jannis commented on the accuracy of Nadal time of birth. You have his time as 6.20pm but Juan has it as 7.15pm.
So my question is, does this close to 1 hour difference make any difference to your predictions?

    1. hi Mike, I use astrodatabank for birth data and they are super keen in ensuring they have accurate times of birth. Here’s the link to Nadal

    2. http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Nadal,_Rafael
    3. which states that his time of birth 18:20 is from his birth certificate and has a double AA rating. You can’t get higher than that so I wouldn’t look at another time unless Juan is a personal friend of his Mother…. Sorry. best, Sally

  147. Hi Sally,

I still enjoy your blog. It was ko so difficult fo Novak. No what this could mean. He still has to play 2 more matches to win the throphy.

It would be so tough if be doesnt win after beating Rafa. Any ideas how the rest of the week going to be ?

    Many thanks 🙂

    1. Well, I’m glad you enjoy my blog. I will wait and see what happens in the Murray-Ferrer match. It’s Murray’s for the taking right now which would mean a 3 out of 4 correct prediction for the quarter finals (Tsonga, Wawrinka, Murray) but of course my big prediction for a Nadal win overall will not come to pass. Sigh 🙁 best, Sally (I do wonder if Novak Djokovic is invincible right now. He seems to be an unstoppable force!)

  149. Let’s face it, if an astrologer can be so sure about Nadal winning this French Open only to see him lose it, then there is every chance Nadal will win Wimbledon next month, regardless of what the astrologer forecasts.
Astrological predictions can be just as wrong as they are right, just like any other predictions or guesses.

    1. Well, if you feel strongly about Nadal winning Wimbledon, place your bet. Nothing stopping you. I don’t like your term ‘guesses’ as that’s not what I’m doing as an astrologer although I’m sure that’s what it looks like from the outside if you know little about astrology. I don’t know that my prediction was ever ‘I’m so sure about Nadal winning’ if you read the full article. It’s rare that I say that on one of my tennis forecasts but I do know that Nadal had/has the Gods on his side right now. This time around he just couldn’t take it and I suspect that has more to do with what’s going on for him personally (i.e. physically/mentally) than anything else. best, Sally

      1. Hi Sally,
Please ignore such people. They dont know how astrology works and are just always the ones who pull everyone else down.
I am really grateful for you to invest your time and efforts for fans like us who follow your blogs religiously.

        Have a good day 🙂

      2. It is always about 70% star alignment and then 30% is about your free will and how badly you want it. Djokovic is more passionate about it than Nadal.

        1. Yes, correct. The stars are in place but you can’t always reach out and grab them. I feel sorry for Nadal – he doesn’t seem to be at his peak physically or mentally which is such a shame. I hope he bounces back but time will tell. best, Sally

      3. Nadal appears to be in very good physical condition.
But he was hitting much flatter in last year’s French Open Final, and you need to hit flatter in order to beat Djokvoic on clay.
Today he did not hit flat enough, too much loop (and too much cross-court), and that only works for so long – almost long enough to sneak the 1st set.
This is how he played in 2011, too much loop and cross-court.
Wimbledon forces him to hit flatter, so he should break the loop habit soon.
        Remains in excellent physical condition.

As you follow Sally’s earlier predictions of Tennis Grand Slams you will be astonished about her wirk and astrology’s influence. Not more to say.

  150. I still love your predicts Sally. Keep them coming. After all you got it right many times. It also adds lots of spice and keeps Tennis fans like me on my toes.

commiserations to Nadal fans. Something has got to give, given his recent dip in form and woeful performances in clay season.

Stars and planets can only help you when you are playing well. Congrats to Djokovic. I’m wondering what would be the surprise in store this time at RG2015. Can’t wait!!

  151. I still remember one of the comments of Sally to one of my question long time back …..

An astrologer can be wrong but not the astrology

    Love you Sally…

    1. Aah, thank you. I love that comment ‘an astrologer can be wrong but not the astrology’ – it will be interesting to see what Jupiter conjunct Nadal’s Midheaven is about. I’d love a 1-to-1 consultation with him 🙂 best, Sally

  155. Hi Sally, I still respect your prediction.. I am a great fan of rafa and highly disappointed . I think he will retire soon :(. Novak looks non stoppable now. He can take RG cup with his talent beyond astrology it seems . Have to wait and see if there are any surprise winner :)))))).

    1. Thanks for your comment. I agree re. Nadal actually. I wonder whether he’s lost his winning mentality/physical capability. It would be a shame but it’s possible. Novak is an invincible force for sure. I do like him as a player but I’d love the winner of Tsonga/Wawrinka to take it simply to back up the astrology 🙂 best, Sally

  156. I don’t think Sally was wrong, she clearly said favorite won’t win the French open this time and I am not sure why she picked Nadal after saying that as he is the defending champion. Defending champion is always the favorite in astrological perspective irrespective of our feelings or his form. Djokovic can still lose to Murray or Waw/Tsonga. The problem is we tend to focus on big 4 most of the times at least in last few years.

    1. Yes, perhaps you’re right as Nadal was the defending champion. My astrology will only play out correctly though if Tsonga/Wawrinka/Murray are the winner. We’ll soon find out. best, Sally

    1. Yes, I can’t feel too bad as I called 3 out of 4 of the quarter finals just failing on the all-important one! My winner supposedly… Next time 🙂 best, Sally

I am an amateur at astrology but a massive tennis fan. I kind of knew Rafa wouldn’t win. Something is wrong with Rafael Nadal and it’s not just a dip in form. Don’t be surprised if he retires now. Something isn’t right with him and regardless of how good Novak is, Rafa just isn’t playing right. Don’t be surprised if he never wins anything again and also don’t be shocked if he announces his retirement soon.

    1. Hola!

Ferrer afuera.

      Saludos

Hi! Ferrer outside. But my biggest prediction still stands: “No favorite wins Roland Garros. Neither Djokovic or Nadal or Federer. If not Ferrer, the winner can be a wildcard, a covered, a surprise. ” Sally regret your failed prediction. But I think you’re working with a wrong letter Nadal. None of the three transits of Jupiter by the MC in 17º Leo brought him satisfaction or championships, that is inexplicable. It happens that he does not have the MC there, if not the 1st Virgo. According to his autobiography Nadal was born at 19:15 >>> MC 1 Virgo. In his new RS it is left Mercury (Gemini 6) opposite Saturn radix (5th Sagittarius). Mercury is a planet of vital importance for Nothing: dispositor of Sun native and regent MC. Apart Neptuno square fits your natal Sun and transit and starts hitting him. Nadal hard times to come. He will have an improvement when Jupiter enters Virgo and transit through its MC. And to close in the current RL, he was partile Mars opposite Saturn. And Mars was the regent of MC RL. I knew that Nadal would not win here. In addition to the initial letter, Moon is separated from Jupiter = Nadal and goes to Uranus = the unprecedented. Regards

        1. Thanks for the translation, Lisa. I’d love Tsonga to win by the way – home crowd advantage and all that. He’s so up and down though – he almost chucked the match with Nishikori and you can’t do that and expect to win every time. best, Sally

      2. hi Juan, you might be right with the correct time of birth for Nadal being 19:15 in his autobiography. I’ll try and get hold of it. Which does make me wonder why astrodatabank haven’t updated their chart data. If you’re correct and his MC is 1 Virgo he will peak mid-August. Could be interesting to watch out for. Thank you 🙂 best, Sally

  163. Sally,
You could be sad for Rafa but still say congrats to Novak as it was an outstanding performance.
Did anybody say congrats to Djokovic so far?
Is this forum about astrology or just Rafa’s and Rogers’s club?

    1. No, we love all the tennis players. Some love one more than others… I’m a great fan of Novak, he’s a brilliant player and at times unstoppable. I was backing Rafa because of my astrological prediction but yes, I hear you. Congrats to Novak! best, Sally

  164. Somebody is predicting a Murray vs Tsonga/Waw final?
There are other sites people talked about Djokovic and Saturn from time to time. He has been doing pretty well, and in fact, and taken tennis to a new level. Are the birth time really right? I think Djokovic will reach the final. and may win.

    1. The birth time of Djokovic is confirmed by astrodatabank. Saturn isn’t strongly opposing his Sun right now but if it does come into play that will be early October 2015. Maybe interesting to see how he does at the US Open this year. Having said that, Saturn is his ruling planet and sometimes with a strong Saturn, you benefit from the planet rather than feel defeated by it. It gives you grit, discipline, commitment, etc. Still an opposition though which theoretically should be draining rather than uplifting. Time will tell. best, Sally

  168. Hi Sally and everyone, can you believe we have had close to 300 responses on this blog. Well done to Sally for creating this space for us.! We will have to be patient with those who do not understand astrology and believe it is a guessing game..sigh..I’ve been studying traditional astrology and during the Renaissance Period the average person was quite well versed in astrology. So we can thank the enlightenment period for changing that and making people ignorant. May I add that Sally’s prediction was not incorrect it’s a matter of semantics. She did say the favourite wouldn’t win the tournament. Depending on who you see as the favourite makes the difference. The universe definitely saw Nadal as the favourite and Djokovic the under dog. I have to say however, that a lot of the experts were calling Djokovic the favourite so Sally was right to pick Nadal. It was sad seeing Nadal dismantled today. I’m a big Nadal and Djokovic fan and would have been happy for Nadal to win as well. Just reviewing some of his astrology I feel transiting Neptune is not helping Nadal as well as his Saturn return. I’m a late May Gemini and I know I can feel the energy of Neptune around me With the square from Pisces. I know the orb is not tight for Nadal as it’s 3 degrees from exact, but I can recognise the energy in Nadal’s body language. Nadal looked tired but also weak. I was amazed at the lack of strength he had because on clay he usually overpowers Djokovic. Obviously Nadal is also going through the Saturn return years and if I remember rightly Federer struggled to win grandslams during these years. Saturn can create a real lack in confidence and create road blocks and today you could see the energy was against him. So the question is who will make it to the final. Tsonga keeps jumping into my mind and he’s completing his Saturn return and is playing with better maturity. He’s always had the talent he just needed better focus. I can’t deny Djokovic to be in the final although Murray is playing great tennis. But can we see murray as French open champion? Yes he beat Ferrer today but Ferrer is the same age as Federer so his age is catching up with him.

    1. Hey Shelly/Sally,

Can you tell when Nadal will be out of this Saturn return cycle thing.. Will he win any grand slam this year or will he actually regain is past glory one more time…

      1. One Grand Slam at a time, Rinku, although the next time Saturn is really powerful for Rafa is later this year – November I think. best, Sally

    2. Thanks for your comment, Shelley. Saturn will kick in again later this year for Nadal. He does seem to be struggling to be fair. If Djokovic is on form, he should beat Murray but the other semi-final is intriguing. On current form you’d have to go for Wawrinka who blew Federer out of the water and Tsonga was unpredictable against Nishikori. The Jupiter-Uranus surprise element is stronger for Tsonga though. We’ll know soon enough. best, Sally

  169. HI,
what aspects of Murray’s chart give an indication it is better than Djokovic’s.
The french open chart says, there would be a new winner which is true. I feel Djokovic is going to be in the final.

    1. I think Djokovic is stronger than Murray astrologically. Just rereading my original article and predictions. Uranus was almost exactly conjunct Novak’s Jupiter on the day the tournament began plus Mars (athletic planet) is heading ever close to conjunct Novak’s Mercury at 18 Gemini and Jupiter by transit also picks up Novak’s Mercury by sextile i.e. supportive aspect. He could be in stunning form tomorrow. Don’t forget however that Murray and Djokovic are born 1 week apart so they do share a lot of similar astrology but Djokovic sneaks it for me. best, Sally

  170. Am very sorry re. Federer loss but he really had not only a strong opponent that day but his other opposition was the brutal wind and the bad slippery clay court. I looked at his aspects and he had a couple of good ones which I don’t understand. However, his wife had a BAD transit! Interesting !!! Anyway, I’m sure he’ll win another grand slam. He’s such a pro and has been playing magnificently up until that day. But as the saying goes Every dog has his day. And I DON’T mean the fabulous Federer. It’s all in the horoscope.

    1. I’m wondering if an important factor in Roger’s loss was the Full Moon, exact during the match! It was in his 4th house of home, opposite the 10th house of career, perhaps detracting from the career. And it was squaring his Ascendant. I think this could have expressed in conditions that were difficult for him and favored his opponent.

If I remember right, he had a loss at another tournament when his match was played during a Full Moon. I think he was “off” during that match, too. Perhaps some of us are more sensitive to lunations than are others. Roger’s Mars is in Cancer and is in trine to his Moon. Perhaps conditions can occur for him during a Full Moon that can throw off his play?

      1. I didn’t like Mercury retrograde conjunct Federer’s Midheaven (career point) – a change in fortune. That was I predicted a loss for Federer’s quarter final. It’s not affected Murray though who shares a similar MC to Federer which is interesting. You might be right about Full Moons – some people are more susceptible. Maybe Leos as their ruling body is the Sun and the Sun is opposed by the Moon during a Full Moon. They can’t shine as bright as they would like as the Lady of the Night, the Moon, is holding court. best, Sally

  172. hi sally in one of my earlier posts i had asked you whether saturn transiting exactly 8th from nadals moon will prevent him from winning.as per vedic astrology saturns transit from the 8th house to one natal moon is very bad and more so if at birth also the combination is there. as per sidereal zodiac nadal has got his moon in about 8 degrees aries and saturn is retrogade at 8 degrees scorpio. as per sidereal system saturn entered scorpio on 21.10.2014. it was at this time nadal had his appendicitis problem. his major period of moon started in october 2014. his moon is in association with north node and aspected by mars. this is not good for the mind. nadal was famous for his mental strength. but if you look closely from october onwards his mental strength has also declined.whatever the system we follw jupiter was transiting the mc. so i thought may be nadal will manage one more rg. i thinf may be we should also look at the other birthtime that the other astrologer uses for nadal.just my thoughts.for you to ponder. i am sure you will get the prediction foe wimbledon right.

    1. Thanks James. Yes, I will definitely follow up the other time of birth for Rafa. He does seem to have been affected recently for sure and that could be Saturn related. Saturn’s often been his nemesis as it is his difficult in his own chart and seems to play out in injuries unlike Djokovic who is Saturn-ruled! best, Sally

Hi Sally, first of all our sincere thanks to you for all your predictions. Outside of players and tournaments, your blog creates lot of interest to follow grand slam matches. I fully see your passion for astrology and we like how you go about presenting your predictions with analysis. You make layman like me get an idea on astrology. Our sincere request to you to continue to predict for all grandslams as WE (your die hard fans) always value them and enjoy your predictions. Love, Sathia

    1. Thank you. I love writing them and they do generate a lot of interest so I hope to continue. Kind words always keep me going 🙂 Sally

  174. Murray is doing well after he got married. Djokovic is even doing better after the birth of his son. Sally do you think the marriage and son respectively have any astrological impact on the way they both do at the tennis court – their passion.
Please Sally enlighten me on this.
I have seen people progress and become millionaires after their marriage and having a biological son/daughter. What you can say about that?

    1. It’s an interesting idea but I don’t have an answer for you. I do wonder about Nadal – is there any news of a romantic love interest? He’s the only one who hasn’t gone down the marriage and babies route (I’m sure Murray will be a Dad before long 🙂 ) I fancy December 2016 for his first child as a wild prediction. best, Sally

  176. I’m wondering when you think Rafa will make his comeback? I cannot believe this is the end for him.. He is still young and that would be such a shame..

    1. I think a lot depends on which birth chart is right. Juan is flagging up a birth time of 19:15 not 18:20 which gives him a Virgo Midheaven rather than a Leo Midheaven. If that’s the case, he will do well again this year. I’ll try and research it some more and let you know next Grand Slam. best, Sally

  177. Just a quick comment to say that sadly I’m not going to be around for the semis and final of the men’s tennis. I’m away on a jolly with my family in Poland and I don’t know that they’ll be showing the tennis!

I’ll reply to any final comments early next week and write my usual update to add to the article. Until next time. Enjoy the tennis and thank you for all your comments & support. best, Sally

Before you sign off, can you give a similar analysis for Roger. Will he do well rest of the year? You indicated earlier that he has some good times until Aug 2015. So does that mean he has one last shot at Wimbledon?

    Thanks

  179. Lesley Jackson

His (Rafa”s) ruling planet, Pluto, is opposing his venus right now and has been doing for some time and will continue for some time also. Is there something bothering him or distracting him on the romantic front? Maybe we shall have to wait and see.

    1. Lesley how much is some more time.. I want to see Rafa of old time(at least for a year) winning Aus open / wimbeldon .. Is that time ever gona arrive anytime soon..

    2. hi Lesley, yes you’re right as Pluto has been opposing Nadal’s natal Venus (love), ruler of his relationship sector, since February 2015. It’s starting to pull away now and won’t return until the end of the year. He grew up with his girlfriend and apparently they’ve been together 9 years but you don’t hear much about her or see her at his side during the tennis. At least I don’t think so. best, Sally

  180. Lesley Jackson

His (Rafa”s) ruling planet, Pluto, is opposing his venus right now and has been doing for some time and will continue for some time also. Is there something bothering him or distracting him on the romantic front? Maybe we shall have to wait and see.

  181. The Moon is moving away from Jupiter and instead hits on Uranus, the outsider, the unpredictable element.

Man, if Serena and Djokovic who are anything but outsiders, as matter of a fact, they are the number one players in the world!, win this RG, I will seriously be very confused with so called astrological predictions. And this coming from someone who has been studying astrology for almost 3 years.

    1. Djokovic didn’t win so you don’t need to be confused. In my experience, the women’s tennis is much harder to predict than the men’s tennis using astrology which is why I stopped. best, Sally

  182. Murray which bring the shock/surprise tomorrow. He has been moving well on clay and Djokovic’s drop shot will not hurt him. He has been returning amazing shots which can frustrate Djokovic. He is also physically fit. I suspect a repeat of Wimbledon final 2013. If history is to be considered, Djokovic has been alternating between semifinal and finalinFrench open since 2011 and it is likely that his run will end in semifinal. History has a perculiar way of repeating itself.

  184. Watching the match between Tsonga and Wawrinka and Tsonga is a bag of nerves. I think he’s using most of his energy trying to stay calm. Looks like Stan will edge a win If Tsonga stays passive. Anyway, moon in Capricorn today so this should favour
Djokovic who is Capricorn rising. Hoping so anyway.

    1. Yes, Moon Capricorn must favour Novak. The Mars-Jupiter sextile was strong for him too on the day of the semi final. Mars applying to conjunct his Mercury Gemini, Jupiter applying to make a sextile aspect. best, Sally

  185. Tomorrow afternoon Jupiter trine Jupiter is exact in horoscope of Murray. I don’t think that is by chance. The “Twister” could bring Murray into final like predicted on http://www.astroarena.org. I placed a bet on Kurray when he was 2 sets down and hope so, this will work.

Wawrinkas birthtime, which is not confirmed, doesn’t seem to be right to me. This chart doesn’t wotk although Cancer rising is reasonable for Wawrinka.

    1. Murray almost pulled it back. Amazing match I hear. The Jupiter trine Jupiter was strong for both Djokovic and Murray as they are only born 1 week apart. OK, it was closer to Murray’s natal Jupiter but still active for both players. Wawrinka’s time isn’t definite but I agree, he looks Cancer rising – round face, softer features. best, Sally

  186. Well it’s Djokovic and Wawrinka in final tomorrow, I think I am going to take logic and history over the astrology this time. I say Novak in four sets, the stars are just too unpredictable, and the analysis of the transits can mean different things

Just to say to Sally that I’ve read a blog from two years ago titled “Rafa the comeback kid” and in that blog you use the birth time of 19.15 and not the one of 18.20 that you’ve been using here. This is gives him an MC of 1 Virgo. I just wondered why you used that birth time on this site 2 years ago but have done these predictions based on another birth time?

    1. hi Lesley, I first heard of the 19:15 time but then I found that astrodatabank had updated their website and the time of 18:20 was confirmed on Rafa’s birth certificate. It also says on there that he has told a spanish journalist that his birth time is 19:00. Apparently 19:15 comes from his autobiography. So all slightly confusing but hopefully we can work it out by seeing when he does well. best, Sally

  189. Lesley Jackson

Just found a birth date for Lucie Safarova. I think she will win the final. Mars 18 Aries, right on midheaven of RG chart. Sun in Aquarius, ruled by Uranus, right on MC of RG chart and definitely an outsider! She has just won the tie break whilst I’m typing this. I’ll carry on trying to work it out as well as watching. C’mon Lucie.

    1. hi Lesley, thanks for this. She certainly had all the right credentials. Serena is a tricky one to predict for sure but keeps on pulling it out of the bag. best, Sally

Well that didn’t work out. I’m starting to think that astrology really can’t be used or relied upon for this type of thing.

Should just like to add that I think Williams is an absolute disgrace. Her language and on court antics shouldn’t be allowed. It must put the opponent off and that is probably why she does it. I can’t believe she is allowed to scream such foul language in front of thousands of people.

    1. hi Lesley, I didn’t see the match. Women’s tennis has confounded me over the last few years. When the astrology doesn’t work, don’t use it. That’s my advice. When it does, go for it. 🙂 best, Sally

  194. Hy dear Sally…I love your blog and I actually begun read it a long time ago.I admire you and being a good astrologer is the most important thing for astrology!I don’t believe so much in the free will,i am not saying that it doesn’t exist, but destiny is more powerful and i know this for sure.I am a psychologist first and because of my love of the astrology and the transpersonal psychology i began to study Jungian astrology a few years ago…i do it for pleasure…and because is my gift…and i loooove tennis and a biiiig Rafael fan and that is why i made courage to writte here, cause i read all the comments here and i just want to say my opinion. It really doesn’t matter what transits are and are coming. the main reason for his present state is because he is unhappy personally and we know that when you are not ok in your personal life and you are not good with yourself and happy, then that gets translated on the court and it makes you loose your confidence and everything.I see this not only in his transital charts but also look at his birth chart in detail…by the way,he said personally last year at the French open that he was born around 7 pm and i used time correction with the ..trutina of hermes” and his time of birth looks to be 19:10 so Juan was kind of right…it really is not 18:20…i will tell you using Jungian psychology what i see in his chart very sincerely :

I see a very deep person who has a soulmate karma in this life…and no matter what relationship he is right know ,he will always feel a void that will manifest in different ways ,until he finds pure happiness and that change will happen in the end of summer- beginning of autumn in 2017 and that will bring to him a new vision a new beginning in his life and will benefit his tennis life…He will not give up,yes 2015 and 2016 will be hard for him but he needs to pass those 2 years and then in 2017 mama mia such bigger things will happen to him personally and professionally too!!We will wait and see but i am so sure of this….and i wonder you Sally or other astrologer here who commented,if they see this in his chart…what do you think about his future? It is a lot more to talk about and explain but i said only what is essential from what i have seen. Can’t wait to read your future posts Sally! Good luck and sens you all my respect!

    1. Thanks Camila, fascinating comment and thank you for your kind words too. You might be spot on re. Nadal as he currently has Pluto opposing Venus, the love planet. That is still active next year 2016 but then begins to fade. I think he’s going to have a tricky Saturn return later this year as he has a weaker Saturn in his chart, 1st house, physical body, which has played out as injuries for him in the past. Saturn will also oppose his Sun Gemini in 2016 so you might be right about the tough 2015/2016. Perhaps he has to go through all that to come out the other side? best, Sally (p.s. I do think I will be looking at a birth time of 19:00 – 19:15 for him from now on)

  195. Whew! what a couple of days. The moon was fighting with mars yesterday and that also played out in the Djokovic match yesterday. But he’s into the final against Wawrinka for Sunday – Yeah!!. As Sally predicted Uranus has caused a bit of trouble. Which got me thinking about the Astrology and how it has played out. So Serena won the final. Obviously she would have been one of the favourites for the tournament and who would have said Safarova would have been in the final. So although as a favourite she won there was a Uranian element to her win as she has been out of sorts with her health the last few days. This struck out of nowhere and caused a doubt with her winning. Would she or wouldn’t she? Also Serena had on the leopard skin pink dress which was very funky and Uranian so she has definitely been carrying the Uranian energy. Also Djokovic had the interruption with his Semi yesterday. He also stunned the favourite Nadal. Again he’s been carrying the Uranian energy as he was smoothly getting through the match then suddenly Murray woke up and then the weather halted things interrupting the flow. Very interesting and nice to see Sally’s predictions and analysis of the astrology actualising.

    1. … and the outsider, Wawrinka, won the men’s. He’s worn some funky Uranian shorts this Grand Slam too – stripes, eurgh! So yes, I think Serena’s victory wasn’t set in stone and she’s been more unpredictable of late. Thanks for your comments, Shelley. best, Sally

    1. Both the semi & the final changed direction quite dramatically. Neither was a straightforward win or bet. best, Sally

  197. Also, for Lesley Jackson. I too thought that Safarova was in with a really good chance to win. Moon is in Aquarius for the final and she is a Sun sign Aquarian so I thought the energy would be in her favour. But I believe Serena was born with a Capricorn midheaven at 17 degrees which has progressed into Aquarius so this was probably the difference. Prediction is very difficult and is hard to get right. Traditional astrologers lived and breathed predictions and were often very accurate. William Lilly was known for his accuracy. It comes down to practice and knowing how to read what the planets are doing which is not always straightforward. Which only goes to show how much effort Sally puts into the predictions because it is not an easy job.

Well I’m undecided now. I did predict Wawrinka earlier but to be honest, I really don’t have a clue anymore!!! Uranus is on his mercury and venus (I think) and I remember his Jupiter is in Aquarius so who knows? Funny that Djokovic and Wawrinka’s Asc/Des are on the same axis. One is Capricorn Asc/Cancer Des and the other is Cancer Asc/Cap Des. Worth noting that Stan has just come through a divorce with Pluto hovering on his Des but Novak has it hovering over his Asc!!! What does it all mean? It’s fascinating regardless.

    1. Stick with your first instinct, Lesley! You were right with Wawrinka. Interesting what you say re. Pluto – shows for Wawrinka as you say going through a divorce with Pluto now in his relationship sector. Pluto rules loss. What does it mean for Djokovic as you say? Well, for one, huge disappointment I imagine losing the French Open. It’s the one Grand Slam that’s eluded him for years and he must have thought that knocking out Nadal was his gateway to victory. The Ascendant rules your personal goals, ambitions. best, Sally

Also just had a thought Shelley – if Serena and her pink leopard print were uranian, what about Stan’s outfit and his jazzy shorts? They have created quite a stir recently. He’s just won the second set and hopefully, it will play out and Stan will triumph. As a tennis fan, it’s great to watch anyway but would love the astrology to play out too.

    1. Yup, I’ve been mentioning the jazzy shorts, Lesley! In fact, they got a mention in the early days of the tournament in the comments somewhere. I think it was Shelley who first pointed them out. best, Sally

  202. Astrology shows that destiny will be right again in the end because what is meant to happen will happen and that is that Stan Wawrinka will win the French Open!

Rinku, the opposition of Rafa’s venus by Pluto will finish at the end of the year – December time. I don’t know whether there is any connection but Pluto is a very powerful influence so there may be stuff happening in his personal life – it’s hard to know how these things play out as we only know what we are allowed to see!

    1. Lesley, Pluto opposite Rafa’s Venus continues throughout the whole of 2016. I would guess at a love crisis affecting him right now. Maybe we’ll find out, maybe we won’t. best, Sally

  205. Lesley, Yep, Stan was holding the Uranian energy and won. He will have all of his pictures in those stupid shorts. I thought the predictions were great for this tournament. Sally was right about the favourite for the Men’s title saying he wouldn’t win. Neither Nadal nor Djokovic won in the end. She did say Stan would be in the mix. Also, I think it was Juan who said no favourite would win. In the end the Bryans were defeated in the doubles and they were surely favourites. Safarova couldn’t get the singles but she did win the doubles. Serena is a mystery and wins everything. She was the only anomaly or did the universe see someone else as the favourite? But she seemed to carry the energy of Uranus with her dress and illness. It’s been fun.

  206. Congrats to Wawrinka and to you sally!! like you predicted, the favorite wont win.
Quite an amazing open has come to an end with so many upsets and surprises…Thanks Sally for the predictions, and looking forward to wimbledon predictions..

  209. Yeey, glad for Stan and sad for Nadal:( and is true , I see it too and believe that he has some personal problems that are the source for his tennis right now..and I see in his progressions that a break up something like this, separation is coming and its inevitable, I do believe that change is good but that depends from person to person.Do you remember in 2009 when he was defeated by Soderling? Then too, he had personal problems ,he said it at that time that he was very sad that they parents wanted to divorce at that time and he didn’t agree and like it and that made his mental state weak at that time and the result was bad because then he was defeated by Soderling for the first time at the French Open…and now is the second time …but I am positive and what is meant to be will be and what is not anymore will end…

  211. Good Sally re. ‘the favourite won’t win’! Maybe I learned something ……….. How to predict the winner in a final. What an interesting discussion it’s been! Do hope you do the same for Wimbledon and the N.Y open.

  212. Gracias “Federer Fan”. Usted si valora mi trabajo realizado y mi predicción 100% correcta.

  214. hello sally the astrology has turned out correct afterall. your prediction that the favourite will not win is very correct as stan was by no means the favourite. your reasoning of the astrological points were also very good. it is just that your prediction that nadal will win based on jupiter transiting his mc went wrong may be because the birth time used for nadal was not correct. iam making a prediction you will get your prediction foe wimby perfectly correct. one request can you do retro astrology for nadal with the birth time of 19.17 hrs and see whether it suits nadal. thank you.

    1. hi James, thank you. I’ll take a look at Nadal’s chart again for Wimbledon. I think I am going to use either 19:00 or 19:15. best, Sally

  215. Finally sally won dokovic ran and stan won as nadal gone. I had a dream that djokovic won French open 3016 may 32nd.The next three French open winner ie 2016,2017 and 2018 is nadal again.nadal had a bad luck and lose to djokovic and djokovic intention is not to win French open but he wanted to quit nadal and he achieved it.

Juice and thumps up to sally for the prediction.

Wonderful prediction by Sally, kudos to you.

@saravanan, what are you talking about dude? Go and get your head checked out, typing something foolish and as usual predicting Nadal’s win for the next ‘n’ number of years without any astrological basis.

      1. djokovic is oddman in grandslam

three runner up in french open
four runner up in us open
        one @ wimbledon

he is good at best of three set match,im not in dream time will tell u.

  222. Sally, I was wondering when will you post the Wimbledon prediction? Is it usually the weekend before the tournament starts?

  223. HI Sally,

do you mean there could more Saturn blows to Djokovic this year? His performance will not be up to the mark?

    1. hi Phani, that was Juan. I translated his comment so we will have to wait and see what Juan says for Wimbledon. best, Sally

  224. Dear Sally just wanted to say to you, that I have run Nadal’s birth time and verify with all the methods for birth time rectification, especially those very accurate from William Lilly and everyone has the same answer so I am pretty sure like 100% that he was born at 7:10 pm 🙂 thought that was important for your next predictions and I can’ t wait to read those! Pretty sure there will have some very interesting conversations too 🙂 …All my love!

    1. hi Camila, thank you. Wow, birth rectification is a very complex technique so amazing you did that. Yes, I shall be considering a new time for Nadal from now on. best, Sally

  225. I know that on astro.com they got the birth time at 18:20 from a newspaper and that newspaper said that it was from his birth certificate but i really think they lied like press do just to make their information believable …but himself said that he was born around 7 pm and i don’t know if you know this but 2 years ago on astro.com and on astrotheme his birthday was 19:15 which is maybe the real one …but they have changed it because they found out that old cause it was old information on that Spanish newspaper…but after seeing his chart and everything and rectification charts i am sure he was born between 7:10-7:15 pm…and by the way physically his influence is coming from Neptune, cause his ascendant in scorpio is in the 2nd decan being ruled by Neptune so he has some pisces similarities and i always saw them!!!

,,With the Neptune influence, it’s probable you have an affinity for water, meaning you might have a fondness for working on or near the sea or other large bodies of water. (Or, you might deal with liquids or liquid assets.) Swimming might be your favorite sports activity. Neptune can be very nice to you appearance-wise”
    Definetly Rafa:)) !

I love astrology!!!! everything but everything is written there in our birth charts but the key is to know how to interpret them 🙂

  226. Hi Camilla, I agree with you about everything being in the birth chart. I’m a lover of traditional astrology and like the concept of destiny. It doesn’t scare me.

Thank you Sally for another great prediction and creating this space for us. Next up Wimbledon. I’ll back to join into the conversation then.

Me to Shelley ,I believe in destiny and I know this is true because I lived it on my own skin and no matter how I use my free will in the end what is meant to happen and for me to learn will happen and it has been happening always. And that’s the rule for everyone of us either if we wanted or not and Nadal has some big things to learn about himself and that is reflecting in his tennis of course….it’s up to him how he responds. If he tries to deny it it will be more complicated for him.I love traditional astrology and believe me everything is karmic and like I said is happening for a reason and especially people we meet along our way so this guy is very lucky actually because he has such a powerful and spectacular destiny ….because he is bound to a person on this earth like all of us of course, but not all of us has the chance to meet ur soulmate …it’s written in his chart but what I as saying is that this change what is happening in his life right know…is something profound deep inside him right know is a battle between how he wants to live his life and how he thinks he should live his life…so he is a little bit confuse about what is happening to him…but all of this is actually his awakening…it looks bad but is actually good for him,is the test of life,if he passess this year and the next with wisdom and courage then 2017 is the year when he will finally meet the love of his life,i am sorry if anyone is offended, cause I really don’t want to upset anyone with my comments, but this is my truth,of what I have seen and only time of course will tell if I was right or not.But believe me ,his battle is in his interior, once he will find the balance to be honest with himself and choose what makes him happy, then he will ,,reborn ” again and will play the best tennis of his life. He’s a man with deep profound feelings…he is not what we see on the surface,,he is a man with a heart of a child and he needs to mature and take his life in his own hands

  232. Interesting the discussion of Nadal’s correct time of birth.

Using the birth certificate time, it does seem strange that transiting Jupiter near his Midheaven did not bring him the French Open title. But there were other factors that could have trumped the Jupiter transit. In the secondary progressions, the Midheaven career indicator was making a difficult square to Chiron, planetoid of “wounding”. It was past exact, but still it seems it was expressing strongly in recent months. And another difficult progression, Mercury (ruler of the progressed Midheaven) square Pluto, within 7 minutes of arc of exact.

And the match he lost to Djokovic took place on Nadal’s birthday, highlighting his Solar Return. This Solar Return has a difficult factor, Neptune square Sun.

So, is the birth certificate time of birth incorrect, or could the Jupiter transit have been overwhelmed by bigger, difficult factors?

Not to raise a sore subject, but it’s interesting to look at some astrology concerning Nadal’s being asked about a report linking him to a doping scandal. This occurred in early July 2006. Using his birthchart based on the birth certificate time of birth, transiting Saturn was within a degree of the exact square to his Ascendant. Transiting Chiron in opposition to Saturn was a little more than a degree from the exact square to his Ascendant. And transiting Jupiter was within a degree of the exact conjunction to his Ascendant.

Nadal strongly denied using performance-enhancing substances, and it seems that was the end of the matter.

Could it be that the difficult Saturn and Chiron transits to his Ascendant brought the challenge of a question in an interview, and Jupiter brought a favorable outcome? If so, that might help make the case for the birth certificate time of birth.

I think the birth certificate birth chart makes sense for Nadal, with Pluto within 5 degrees of the Ascendant. He is known for his power and relentless style of play.

It seems there are very strong points in favor of a different time of birth. Perhaps we will see more indications to go by in the future.

    1. Yes, I think we have to wait and see for now or at least that’s what I’m doing. I don’t use Chiron hardly at all by transit or progression because I still think it’s not entirely understood and for any kind of ‘doping’ issue, I’d want to see Neptune in action. That’s the drugs planet. The solar return and Mercury progression are both interesting for what’s happening now. I still feel that if his birth time was 6:20, he would have won the French Open. Jupiter was in a partile conjunction to his Midheaven, i.e. exact by degree and minute and that for me is too powerful to discount. Let’s explore more and thank you for your input. best, Sally

      1. hello sally as per vedic astrology the rising ascendent degree should show whether the birth is female or male and also it should have a corelation with the persons natal moon. this is useful in rectifying the birth time when there is a doubt about birth time for a few minutes.if as per astro sage the birth time is 18.20 then the birth time can only be 18.17.30 or 18.25. with the 18.25 time jupiter is exactly transiting nadals mc when he won the stuggart tournament.if the birth time is 19.15 as given in his autobiography then his birth time is either 19.10 or 19.17. it is very interesting to note that camilla has by her own methods arrived at 19.10 as her birth time. so please use 19.10 as nadals birthtime and not 19.00 hrs and check whether his past success is shown by it. i know it is a lot to ask but for the sake of astrology i request you to do it. thannk you in advance.

  233. Then why himself said he was born around 7 pm and not before 7 pm…I have the interview…his parents of course most told him and they know better I think and yes you are very right about using 6:20 pm cause this chart also shows things that are compatible with Nadal…the truth ,we cannot know it,until we watch the next tournaments, how he performs and what the stars shows us with both birth times and then see which one was more close to the truth. For example 18:20 shows that he will win the semifinal and the final in Stuttgart and 19:10 the birth time correction shows he is more likely to not win the final…let’s see what will happen:) I am curious too

Thank you for analysing Rafa’s chart,

Is there any possibility that Rafa wins any slams at all.

Does he still have his best tennis in the immediate future.

Kindly answer my questions, And A huge Thanks in advance.

  236. Hiya

Nadal has won Stuttgart in straight sets without playing top ten players but it doesn’t mean that he will win GS this year. He might be able win smaller tournaments but not every single one.

Nadal is not Federer! Nadal uses more taxing style!

    1. Hi Getsemaneh,

Why do you think I got hatred for Nadal I am only saying that Astrology is saying from another site that Nadal will not win any-more GS this year.

Roger and Nadal got different style of play. Nadal might be able to win smaller tournaments but struggle to win big ones, we have to wait to see what the Astrology says. Remember Sally say that Nadal got big Solar Return coming up. Roger had that Solar Return now, Nadal will get it soon also when you turn 29 it is harder to win GS.

Nadal might to have to wait for another two years for things to change.

Nadal fans need to stop thinking that Federer fan are haters, we are stating the facts. What happened to Roger will happen to Nadal.

      Federer fan.

      1. then I apologize @Federer fan if I got the wrong idea…it’s just that all your posts were more about Nadal and his “misfortunes” than you rooting for Fed..

  237. Ana, sorry, but I’m going to pass on your question. I’m trying to learn more about prediction.

Getsemaneh, actually I think you’ve raised a serious point to consider, why some of us like one athlete and not another. None of us, I would assume, actually knows either Federer or Nadal. So we observe their behavior on the court and in press conferences. We see things we like or not. We may be willing to overlook negative things that others see or speculate about “our guy.” And I’m sure we’ve all seen negative opinions about both of them.

I have wondered if there could be some astrological basis in how we relate to sports champions and other celebrities.

So that leads us back to a discussion of the correct time of birth for Nadal! If the birth certificate time is correct, he has Pluto, planet of power, near his Ascendant, where one “meets the world.” So his fans admire his power and relentless effort. Also, his Leo Midheaven, the high point of the chart, shows qualities of the Lion for all to see.

Federer is a Leo Sun, so his fans see the Lion in his tennis and his essential self. Venus is near his Ascendant, so he is admired for his beautiful and creative style of play. Very different from Nadal’s Pluto power style. It’s interesting how different people prefer one style over the other. And some find Nadal’s style beautiful, and Federer’s style powerful!

And then there’s the matter of personality, or what we think we see from on-court behavior and from interviews. So I guess it can get pretty complex, why we like or dislike these sports celebrities we don’t know personally.

  238. That is my concern too…I see Nadal more like having MC in leo than in Virgo…so then 18:20 is more appropriate…but I don’t know, I am confuse…he also won Stuttgard today ,which I saw it coming in his transits with the birth time 18:20…I have recalculated his birth chart because I heard when he said he was born around 7 pm, 2 years ago the birth time known for him was 17:15 ,and then he lost the French open…but maybe he is really born at 18:20 and even if he had good aspects then, something there ,,which seems good, actually goes bad for him” I need to look at thos aspects and at his natal chart and try to find some conexions because I am very very sure the answers are there! We just have to look at the right elements.

  240. Hiya Sally,

I am having trouble posting on your site. Could you please delete the other two? And keep this one.

    Kind Regards

    Fed fan

    Hi Getsemaneh,

I am only going by Astrology. I do not hate Nadal, I just don’t like his style of play. I am only interested in what Astrology will say for Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and many others.

I respect people views but hatred is an awful word. I am only saying that Nadal might have problems winning GS this year that all. So, please don’t think that is hatred. Nadal and Roger have different style of play.

    Federer fan

  241. Hiya Sally,

  243. Looking at his game, Nadal does not look like he can win any more grand slams..he has slowed down considerably.. Sally/Camila/Astro Tennis/Juan – Nadals birth time wont have much impact as Nadal has declined permanantly..he is struggling …Cant see how he can improve…

So Fed fans can sleep peacefully at night…

  245. Hi Sally,
Would it be possible to look into Juan Delpotro’s chart and see whats going on. Poor chap posted he is gonna undergo another surgery

    Thanks

    1. Thanks for asking but not a clue! He’s born September 23 1988, early Libra, no time of birth, and I can only see good stuff going on, i.e. Jupiter conjunct Venus, his Venus return happening soon. It must be something to do with the angles of his birth chart and you only gain that information when you have a time of birth. best, Sally

  246. No matter the birth time ,i see 1 thing-same thing-more important in his progressions, chart, etc. he is going through a personal crisis, something inside him, and this is the cause that affects everything professionally , it is a psychological thing ,it is not his boy that it slows him , it is his mind and his problems and it is a test for him to find a way to find peace with himself . I think he is in pain , not a physical pain but a soul pain , you know and you can see it from the words he chooses to say , for example , he is continuously saying that he feels good physically and that is right because like I said his problems are not from the body , are from other place….and what striked me was something I saw the other day.I turned up the tv and I catched the last 5 minutes of the finale in Stuttgart and in the speech he said : ,,I want to thank my team because without them (pause) , I mean will not be impossible , but they make it more easier ,,… so , he is coming through a personal transformation , he is beginning to see that maybe what he thought in the past was his way , right know it is not anymore , I mean he changed logically because he grew up so he is not a child anymore so when you mature you see what you want from life . I think he is in a battle with himself and his tennis depends to him , to how he resolves his issues . And he has some bad period coming next year especially more profoundly concerning his love life so that will affect his tennis more….I hope he will find a way to deal with his problems. It is up to him,all of it. Life is a game and you need to play it until you win it!

    1. HI CAMILLA,

GOOD COMPOSITION AND THE ARTICLE IS EXCELLENT.I THINK NADAL AND YOU COMMUNICATE THRU PHONE AFTER STUGUART FINAL.THANKS FOR SHARING COMMENTS.PLAYER COULD KNOW HOW TO OVERCOME THEIR PROBLEM BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.

      TIME WILL TELL
      THANKS AND WARM REGARDS,
      G SARAVANAN.

  247. Camilla Thanks for your very detailed response. From what I make from your response is that Nadal wont win anything this year and next year.. He will be 30 next year.. so he wont have many chances to win after 30 anyways…painful to see Nadal struggling like this..But as you said Life is a game..

Hi Sally, I just wondered when you were going to post the Wimbledon forecast? I love your posts but would particularly like to see the chart for Wimbledon so I can also have a go myself to see if I can come up with any ideas. It’s very interesting and thank you for doing this.

    1. Lesley, I have just posted the chart tonight, Friday. If you want to comment, please do. I will be adding my own predictions on Sunday, the day before Wimbledon begins. best, Sally
